As my daughter would say 'Meh'. I tried multiple times to use the app in my house but it kept saying no internet connection.. I eventually managed to get it to work and guess what happens next, they didn't have any rice cookers for rent anywhere near Colchester. Frustrating to say the least.

Myself and my husband Sean hired a beautiful VW Danbury Rio for three days last week and it was fabulous. I couldnt believe how comfortable and well stocked she was and how well she drove. I will DEFINITELY be hiring Bluebell again this summer and this time ill be taking the two little ones too! The hire was also super cheap becuase of the fantastic discounts that fat lama give. Its safe to say im a happy customer :)))

I've used fat lama for three rentals now. It's a cool and easy to use site. The only downside I find is the fact that there's not much activity in Exeter where my parents live!

Weird name, but man that site is cray. Mind boggled at how I can make as much money as I'm making through doing almost nothing. I'm buying another drone that is for sure. I would advise anyone reading this to buy to rent before everyone starts doing it!

Shocked to see all the negative reviews! Fat Lama must have upped their game recently, because i had the smoothest experience imaginable. I needed a Canon 5d, so called up, and within minutes one of their team sent me three options within my local area. I got verified instantly, and my request was accepted 2 minutes after that. I then agree to pick up the camera half an hour later just a 15 minutes walk from my home. Bob's your uncle, I have some quality PR shots for an artist I'm managing for mad cheap prices. Revolutionary..

Fantastic... Every time

Everything was great apart from the borrower returned my bike 3 hours late. GRRRR. But yes, lovely company, and lovely people on the customer service there who were extremely helpful for my first time lending. Should be a 5 star, but I'm one of those people who thinks nothing is perfect :)

Found this site last week and I can say they fulfilled my requirement for a Mavic pro pretty swiftly. I will use again, and I will recommend to my friends.

I rented my cdj 900's and djm 800 mixer out on Fat Lama last weekend. Sadly, the mixer was stolen from a house party :( Fat Lama however came to the rescue and paid me out the full value of the mixer (which I only asked for £500 as that's what I bought it for) almost instantly. I filled in dispute form that was sent to me as soon as I told them of the problem, and within 3 days the money to purchase a new mixer was in my account, meaning I can rent it out this weekend again, although I'm going to be at the party where it's being used, so I will keep out a watchful eye. P.S, to whoever stole my mixer, if you are reading this... screw you!

My children have now grown up and I have two bloody expensive prams clogging up space in my basement. My friend Lana told me to rent them out on Fat Lama. I thought nothing of it, until THREE requests came in in a week to rent one of them! I know its not life changing, but they are earning their keep, and also occasionally giving me some more space to do the ironing and cleaning in the basement. Fat lama take a little fee from the rentals, so be careful of this, but in all honesty i'm happy for them to. Great website!

I was looking to sell my bike but a guy called Danny asked if he could rent it instead as it would be cheaper than getting it from a hire shop (It's a proper triathlon bike). I'm glad he did because I made an extra £120 from that rental and I didn't have to lift a finger. The only thing about it is arranging the pick up/drop off which would be easy but I work a long way away from Home during the week so I'm never around to arrange them. Would be good if they introduced drop zones or something like that!

Right so my story begins with one unused and, frankly, unloved camera. I had been given it by my ex-girlfriend but when she left me I couldn't even look AT it, let alone look THROUGH the lens. When my friend recommended Fat Lama - he had used it for a party - I saw how many cameras were up there and thought "maybe... just maybe". I took the camera and took pictures on my phone, uploaded them to the site and literally within about 5 hours, I had my first rental request. The money flowed in - £40 - £80 - £115 per week! Now my camera is being loved again and I'm able to take OTHER girls out on dates with the money I'm getting in. The only negative is that I tried the app in beta and it wouldn't let me leave a review for the borrower but that's ok - when it's fixed will update this to 5*s :)

Fat Lama is the best way to make money pre-xmas. Only criticism is the app is a little slow on android! Great website!!

Unreal site. All for support. Cheaper and faster than anything else. I spent a lot of time researching the safety of the equipment even ran their insurance passed a broker I know. Hats off to the product, it's greater that great.
