I Ordered the same dress in two sizes, I tried on the 14 but the style was too long so returned both sizes for a refund. One dress (12) was in an unopened bag. I received a message to say they would only refund 1 dress as the other dress had a pull init (the dress which was not tried on and the bag was open).
Three weeks ago I returned the items but only been refunded for one. It’s not double second who answer your queries it’s another company who now have stopped returning any of my messages. They have stole my money £37.00 and will not return any messages. Having to contact my bank and trading standards as this is fraud.
My advice do not buy from this company as they can not be trusted.

Reading the reviews not sure why they have negative customer service reviews. I have bought a few dresses from Double Second and the customer service has been brilliant. Fast delivery, great quality and when I returns a few of the dresses that I bought as options I was refunded quickly.
Their garments are excellent quality and very well priced, I always receive compliments on them.

Be careful if you want to return something because they will do ANYTHING to keep your money. I ordered a coat through Debenhams which was returned in PERFECT condition. Tags still on etc, they found the tiniest little mark and sent the coat back to me. Struggled to even find the ‘stain’ it was the size of a pinprick and I’m not exaggerating. It wiped off straight away with water. Do not recommend them at all.

Customer service and returning policy are incredibly poor. The dress is too small, they refuse to give me refund, saying that I removed safety ribbon, which one was exactly on a neck, I didn’t want to remove it but there wasn’t any other way to try it on. Plus I lost money for a dress and they want me to cover post expenses to send me back small dress. Don’t recommend

Can I withdraw my complaint about Double Second not paying when you send items back, it was my own fault I had not addressed the package correctly
I ordered a dress for my daughters wedding. It was beautiful but had a few little tears in the lace. I contacted them and they sent a replacement dress out just in time for the wedding. Customer service is fantastic.
I ordered a pleated dress to wear to a friend's wedding. The dress was lovely and fitted well, however there was a sewing flaw at the side section of the pleats and was very noticeable. I contacted Double Second and they were happy for me to return the dress and I would receive a full refund.
I ordered a replacement dress and unfortunately this wasn't perfect either. There was puckering at the back at the bottom of the zip area. I was running out of time by this stage so just decided to keep the dress even though I wasn't satisfied.
Can't fault the customer service I received from Gabriella. She was very friendly, helpful and always responded quickly.
Overall, good customer service and lovely items of clothing but concerns about the quality in relation to the sewing.

I brought three wrap dresses for a few weddings I have this summer. Unfortunately, one of the dresses was too small. When contacting Double Second, they agreed to exchange for a larger size despite it being a couple of days past the returns period.
When returning the dress they mentioned to me that there was a small makeup mark on the dress. Luckily the team managed to remove this for me and kindly made an exception for me so I was still able to exchange the dress.
I ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses in 2022 for my wedding next month July 2023. One of the bridesmaid changed size one month before the wedding and there were willing to do an exchange over a year later! Amazing customer service - very quick email replies.
Brilliant customer service from this company. Ordered some culottes which unfortunately were out of stock in my size. I was contacted personally by Gabriella who offered an alternative size to try or a short wait until my size arrived. She was super helpful and kept me up to date with when they would be dispatched. Turned out to be a very short wait and I'm really pleased with the quality and look of them. Amazing to receive such care and attention from an online retailer.
Bought a couple of jumpers for when it gets cold, good price, arrived promptly and is really good quality. Definitely would buy again!
Bought pleated dress for upcoming wedding. The side pleats are flat and the adjoining pleats are not sitting straight. Hung up for the pleats to “drop” into place, no luck, as it was now over 2 weeks and past return date I decided maybe my dry cleaner could “steam” into place , she advised me the pleat was wrong therefore couldn’t be correctly placed. I returned via SilkFred who advised me once they had received the dress I would get a full refund. Two days later DoubleSecond advised me the dress wasn’t faulty and have now returned it to me. With the back and side pleats terribly made I wouldn’t wear the dress as it is noticeable. Very disappointed.
I bought 1 dress in 2 different sizes, for a dinner dance, and thought I would try this manufacturer. When I got the dresses, by Royal Mail, I hung the dresses up and allowed them to hang for a couple of hours, before trying them on.
When I tried it on the bigger size, it fitted me better, in the front. NOT IN THE BACK. The stitching of the dress looked incorrect, and inappropriately placed.

I informed the company, as well as the outlet I had ordered the dress from, and the response I got was hang it up or steam it. Therefore, I had decided to return the dresses, and wear another dress I had.
However 2 weeks later, I came home from work, to find another package from Double Second. It was the smaller dress, which had a stain on it, that I apparently made. Which I know I did not.
I decided to see what my options are, with an unbiased company, and they have tried to help me. I have emailed the outlet again to let them know I will be returning the dress. Which I did not stain, as I only wear makeup, and fake tan on special occasions, and the stain is near the inappropriate stitching, and is only on the outer layer of the dress.
But it is extremely worrying that this is the first review on TrustPilot about Double Second. I will update when I hear more.
