10 YEARS OF WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

I had an intruder alarm monitoring contract with them. They would send an engineer out twice a year, and on multiple occasions the engineer replaced the same fuse. Each visit cost me around £300–£400 for approximately two hours of work.

However, what has happened now is beyond belief.

They issued an invoice for work allegedly carried out on CCTV cameras, despite the fact that I did not have a CCTV contract with them. According to their paperwork, five cameras were replaced. I dispute this completely, I still have the same cameras, which are maintained by another company.

Even more concerning, the signature appearing on their paperwork does not belong to any of our employees.

I wrote to them clearly stating that I would not pay the invoice because I did not recognise the work and disputed that these services had been provided.

Several months later, they took the matter to court. A judgment was entered requiring my company to pay the invoice plus costs, totalling approximately £1,900. I am now having to deal with the court process and challenge the matter.

I have never experienced anything like this in business. They are also failing to respond properly to my emails, leaving me to spend my own time and money dealing with the consequences.

My advice: be extremely careful before entering into any agreement with this company. Check every invoice, every job sheet and every signature.

I have seen many positive reviews, but my experience has been completely different. I am now dealing with this matter through the court process and intend to challenge the invoice and the evidence supporting it.

After 10 years as a customer, I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before doing business with this company.

problems with new alarm system showing alert.Phoned our engineer who advised us that to try and reset system this unfortunately failed and as it was late at night we did not pursue any further.engineer contacted us the following morning to see if problem had been resolved and when we advised it hadnt,he advised to contact Chubb to get a job number and he would call out to see what he could do.when he arrived he corrected fault quickly and advised why fault may have occured .as always engineer faultless in resolving everything.

The engineer spent as much time as needed to check all sensors and equipment were working fine and batteries were replaced
He explained a few tips about how to reset the system in case of unexpected signs

Jack informed me 45 minutes before he arrived. He was polite, cheerful and did the job quickly

There Always Helpfull At All Times

I spoke to several departments and each one was extremely helpful and solved the issue very quickly.

Fire alarms not working.Repeatedly told we dont have a land line and to call mobile numbers to no avail so fire brigade been sent twice already needlessly. On call to service centre and been told twice that 'we' dont monitor your smoke alarms when you do and we pay for the privilege. Been told we need new smoke alarms as they are years out of date but not once has anyone told us this in our yearly home services. We currently have no fire protection coverage so ive had to buy and install temporary ones at my own time and cost until we get new detectors delivered and installed. Really poor service from Chubb and feel its been a downgrade since Alarmfast.
