Perfect choice - Carbon X
I ordered a Carbon X walker. Unfortunatly it did not arrive on the day specified. The Director of the company rang and emailed me and reorganised another delivery date. This time the walker arrived on time.
Im really thrilled with my choice of walker.
Its very light weight. This makes it easier to lift in and out of my car.
It has a good sized bag on front and in a good position for dropping things in. Other walkers seem to have bags almost under the seat so you have to lean over a lot to reach. The handles can be adjusted to your height. The seat rest can be adjusted too. Its not fixed in place on the handles.
The seat looks like leather and would be dryable in rain.
The wheels are bigger at the front. Although it has a kick up to help you get up curbs. It means the bigger wheels allow you to easily glide up a small drop kerb. Without using the kick up.
To sum up. It was the perfect choice. Especially weight wise. It weighs a lot less than my previous walker.

Well made wheelchair but to heavy to lift.
Unfortunately we found, as a family, that the wheelchair we ordered was to heavy for us to lift when folded for transport by car etc. Careco were very understanding. Their aftersales service was excellent.

A playground for pensioners
I suffer from osteoathritis and, on arrival at CareCo, Camberley, we were asked if we would like to borrow any equipment to make the walk in to the shop easier. The shop was very clean and spacious and all their products were laid out to make life easy for the customer. All the staff were very caring and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Customers are welcome to browse for as long as they like and ask as many silly questions as they feel necessary. We were also impressed by the honesty and apparent integrity of the staff members when asked a direct question, there was not the usual feeling that we were being told what we wanted to hear. The good service continues after sales, and any query regarding the paperwork is quickly and cheerfully sorted out on the spot.

I recently had a problem with a Tri-walker from Careco. I contacted Customer Services, but sadly I was disappointed as they didn't solve my problem. So I let them know how disappointed I was on Saturday the 15th of March.
In less than an hour I received an email from William a Director at Careco, who was excellent, very understanding and caring in regards to my issue. He sorted it out straight away. He had arranged to send me a new Latest model Tri-walker at no cost to myself of any kind. Shortly after he sent a Confirmation email that it would be posted yesterday Monday, next day delivery. Today I received a Rubix Tri-walker. It is lovely, very smooth, and excellent quality. So Thank you so much to William and Careco for the excellent Care and my New Tri-walker. Yes as the business name reflects, Careco do care for their customers. Thank you everyone. 👍😊
Scam company …
I purchased a raised toilet seat from this company the cost of £70 as i was struggling to get off the toilet. We tried this seat with the wrapper on and it kept slipping so we tried it with the wrapper off and it still kept slipping. I have a standard size toilet and was amazed how this company could sell such a unsafe item. So I started a return which cost £6, after a couple of weeks I received a call advising me my return was not acceptable as they found contamination on the product,I told them I had to try the product and found it to be unsafe,they then told they could not sell it on. They should not be selling unsafe products on anyhow. This is not the first time I have received unsafe products from this company. There is nothing caring about careco,they are taking advantage out of disabled people and should be investigated on the products they sell.

Great Service
Although we didn't receive a phone call to say he was on his way, our technician arrived at 8am. Kevin Smith unpacked and assembled the 2 chairs quickly and efficiently, he removed all the rubbish and left the area tidy, he explained to us how to use the remote controls, he was very pleasant and polite throughout the delivery. Just bought a pedal exerciser with digital display ,it is amazing.
I have MS and my right leg is weak after a week on this I've found a great improvement.
500 reps a day doesn't take long it's worked wonders for my leg strength.

I bought two recliner chairs in August…
I bought two recliner chairs in August one is OK the other the foot rest will go back to the start posiition they asked for photos of the chair witch I did then they wanted photo of the serial number I did this as well after a number of emails this morning a email from CareCo can I take a vidio of the chair in action cant do I have no way to do a video I have arthritis in both arms and hands lifting this chair was painful an also a heart patient all I want is someone to visit and check this out they want £80 witch I may get back I have had enouhgh this is way I have given 1 star
Sheffield Care Co our “Go To” mobility supplier
Sheffield Care Co have been our “go to” company for all our mobility aids. We have always been delighted with the personal, empathic attention and product knowledge the friendly staff have given.One of our family members living in Kent, has recently required a mobility scooter but found her local Care Co assistants very unhelpful. The answer to her problem was resolved by her making the journey from Kent to visit our Sheffield store. Once again the staff were more than helpful in explaining/ demonstrating/encouraging her to try the scooter both inside and outside/ taking it apart to demonstrate loading it into the car. Lane explained she had only been working at CareCo since November 20204 but felt she had settled in well and enjoyed meeting all the customers. She admitted she did not know everything about all products and did ask for clarification with an another assistant about a couple of technical points my son asked. We found this attitude very refreshing, she had not tried to “bluff “ her way though. Our Son & his wife were more than satisfied and mentioned the whole atmosphere was totally different from that experienced in Kent. Result, scooter ordered and paid for Although delivery was expected to be several days the text came though it was to be delivered to their address in Kent the following day.

My experience with CareCo has been incredible- from customer service to delivery time, my whole experience has been perfect. Having been diagnosed with a brain tumour I found myself, very suddenly, unable to walk. CareCo have helped me massively, they listened to my needs and suggested the right mobility scooter for me. The Micromus scooter has given me my independence back - I can now take my eldest child swimming, or take all my children to school. Something I feared I’d never get back. Thank you CareCo for your impeccable customer service, your super speedy delivery time and for providing me with an incredible, sturdy, easy to manage (and folding) mobility scooter!

I ordered a folding assist rail for an 88 year old relative who had a fall and needed it to help him into bed. I paid extra for next day delivery, it did not arrive (DPD). I phoned Careco who said would refund delivery charge.
I was told it would be there the next day, it did not arrive, I phoned Careco who said that I could not have a refund until they received the item back. I said I have not got it threrefore please refund me. They said they have to check with DPD, that DPD have got it even though all the DPD information says that they have not delivered it, after a long discussion and the Careco person leaving me hanging on twice while they went to speak with someone else it was decided that I could have a refund but that it would take seven days. I will wait and see if it arrives but will not be holding my breath. Worst customer service in ages

I went into careco stoke and was served by the wonderful Craig who helped me figure out which recliner would suit me best. He was very polite and understanding about situation of not being able to hear him (loss of my hearing) I will say ty for being so understanding.

NO CUSTOMER CARE toilet…
I ordered an adjustable portable toilet frame from CareCo which was delivered on 18 December 2024. I tried it in my lounge (nowhere near my toilet) & it didn’t feel sturdy enough. As there was no contact telephone number on the invoice & because of the festive holiday period I sent CareCo an email requesting a return number to return this item. Despite numerous emails & supposed telephone calls (which I did not receive) since then I have been advised by CareCo that I cannot return the item or receive a refund because I should have contacted their customer services department on 4th January 2025 (one day earlier than I did) I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing anything from CareCo to give them a miss. Their after sales service is atrocious & their customer care offers no care whatsoever.
I have since had a telephone call from Matthew @ CareCo & he has apologised for the service I received. He also sent me details to enable me to return the unsuitable item. I have today received the refund in my Bank Account. Thank goodness for Matthew because the other Customer Care staff were totally dismissive of my concerns.
