The product looks definitely much better than on photos! We received everything on time and are relatively satisfied. The instructions made the assembly easy too. Can definitely recommend them! Cheers.

dont buy adult tricycle its horrendous i had to pay extra to have it put together things didnt fit right cable had to be replaced,its unrideable it pulls to one side its just an awful, awful bike .i have had to give it away i couldnt sell it in case the person hurt themselves ,i have lost nearly 400 pounds which i still have to pay back on my credit card its only fit for scrap,stay well clear.

I bought a tricycle from this site s as no it was thee worst experience I've ever had with any purchase I've ever made, customer service was very hard to get hold of, wasn't answering calls responding took days, and delivery was 2 months late would recommend staying away from this company if your thinking of buying a tricycle !!!!

After waiting for the time they say the will sent the product, nothing arrived. I sent an email nobody answered, then I proceed to send a live chat (which promissed 5 minutes answer) and after seeing the "sent"and then "read" appear below still no answer for hours. I will be forced to cancel the payment if nobody gives me an answer.

Edit: These people is awesome... I had to tell them that I will cancel the payment in order to have an answer and NOW (more than a week later of the purchase when they asure 4-5 days shipping) they SEND the order. Well If I don't have it these weekend I will cancel the payment for sure. They are a bunch of scammers.

Edit 2: As I did the purchase on July 24, Now is August 13 and I'm still waiting. Why? Custom has my packege and said there is not enogh information, I provide it, still not enough information. I tell customer service to help and contact Custom, they are like "nah, too much work do it yourself". Hope they don't need s*1t for medical reasons as I do, and if they do hope they face the same poor customer service they have.

Edit 3 (hope the last): What an horror movie. Finally the tricycle arrived and for my surprise one part was rusty, the instructions are poorly written and not even for my model, the tools insufficient... Then I told them i wanted a refund so they said me to send it to the same direction as in the box (a privet house), my post office told me it was more than 30kg (which I tested and was correct) so they cannot take it. I go to a privet one, they told me a proforma invoice is needed. I told the company. The answer? "No, it's 29.7kg". I am asking for a proforma you dense cabbages. But frustrated as I am I told then I will keep that thing (the only way they can win money, with scams) so they must pay me the duties as promised. Still waiting for the duties repaid to me.

Edit 4: Still no payment back for the duties, now they are ignoring me.

As you can see English is not my first language so it's difficult to me to express myself.

Ordered the Scout trike. Arrived within 2 days, Great.!! Put it together over 2 days.. then I noticed some poor workmanship on the chromed parts of the bike. Contacted Buytricycle and told them, they got straight back to me and promised some new handlebars and a discount on the forks. Great.!!? Er, not so great after all. That was all a week ago. Despite leaving messages and emails galore, nothing. Not answering phone either. They promise great aftersales service, but I am still waiting..!! Beware false promises.!!

Bought a trike, was delivered quickly, one of the bolts holding the axle won't go through as nothing lines up, had to buy a tyre wrench to do up the other 5 nuts and order a slightly smaller one to make 6, the wheels are so poorly laced the nipples i expect to cause nothing but punctures, wheel rims scratched to bits, as I write this a bike mechanic is outside sorting out the gears and brakes as they all need adjustment, the free cover does not fit, at all, any way you try, I did get all the free bits though unlike the vast majority of reviews, I have sent messages via their site and had zero response as states by other buyers, all in all, it's a cheap trike, with cheap parts, no customer service I have evidenced, if you've bought and assembled a bike and expect it to be partially assembled, it's not, it's adult mechano, oh, the basket....jeesh....don't put anything in it you want to keep, even with the plastic clips if you go over a bump too quickly that'll fall to bits!

I bought a tricycle for my son with a shipment to Poland. Purchase without problems. Next day shipping to Poland.
However, in Poland, DPD, through its own fault, did not deliver the package to me and sent it back to the sender - after submitting a complaint to the Polish branch of DPD, the complaint was found to be justified.
Without any problems, after e-mail contact, the seller re-shipped the bike to Poland. The bike came to Poland in a package, solidly packed and waiting to be assembled by a professional bicycle mechanic.
So in my opinion, the seller is a reliable company that I recommend and with whom you can cooperate, even if there are any problems with the shipment by the courier company. I am very pleased with the contact and cooperation with the seller. I recommend.

I bought you an electric tricycle as a Christmas present for my wife and, as their orders take very long to fulfill (based on your costumer’s reviews), I ordered it at the end of August, to be safe!
My wife loved the present and after Christmas and New Year holidays she asked a bike shop to mount it, but we’ve been putted on a waiting list for assembly, due to the bike shop work availability.
Only in early January we were informed to deliver the box at the shop to get the job done.
When we deliver the box to the mechanic, he opened it right away to check the material and sadly noticed that, contrarily to my order information, were missing the following parts:
1. Bateria extra (£180.00);
2. Tricycle waterproof weather cover FREE;
3. Bicycle Pump 8inch T Handle FREE;
4. Heavy Duty Bike Lock Cable FREE;
5. Adie Front Mesh Basket With Holder FREE;
6. Adults tricycle seat with back rest FREE.
So, I ask them to send me the stated missing parts asap (to the same address), so the mechanic can properly assemble the tricycle and my wife can enjoy her Christmas present.
Till today no answer at all... lousy service

Finally we received the missing parts! So I reconsider my opinion about them.
If everything was sent on time I would give a 5 star review.

We ordered the Scout eTrike as a birthday present for our 80yo mum.
I had a couple of questions during the build which were answered very promptly, the staff were very helpful.
The bike is now built and mum loves it. We discovered we were missing the front basket and after contacting BuyTrike they have addressed it immediately.

I received received my scout trike very quickly after placing an order and after having the cover missing I emailed customer service and had an response in a matter of minutes, a trike cover was sent out and received quicker than expected. Brilliant!! Now for happy riding .

The electric Scout is very good value for money. It is sturdy and comes with a lot of free accessories. I have had no problems dealing with the company and any queries were dealt with very well and promptly. If you aren't experienced in bike or trike building, it might be very helpful to find a professional mechanic to build it. We had no bother though.The trike is a great bit of kit for the money. I absolutely love my Scout, it has liberated me as I can't walk or stand easily,but I can whizz about on my trike and it makes me very happy. Thank you for a great product and excellent service. Much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Purchased a trike for my son, who has severe learning disabilities. no problems at all. Unfortunately he loves it so much he buckled the front wheel, unable to source correct size/fitting - these guys sent me a replacement wheel, with tyre for FREE when heard of my plight. Fantastic to deal with and above and beyond after sales care. Thank you so much!

A pleasure to do business with Buytricycle.
I ordered my Scout tricycle and 4 days later it arrived all nicely boxed and undamaged. All the components were there nuts and bolts bagged and appropriately labeled. assembly guide was there too. Just take your time when assembling and it all comes together spot on. I have cycled for over 70years but now the body is not so well balanced but I really wanted to keep cycling. The tricycle is great fun and keeps me on the road. Not looking to break any world records ........just enjoy. Thank you Buytricycle

Just a painful experience all round.

I ordered a trike on the 11th May 2022, and delivery was prompt. I was so excited to get it assembled and hit the road. Upon the start of assembly, we found that the x4 main frame assembly bolts were missing from the frame. These are an essential part and we had to request on more than one occasion that these were posted to us as a priority next day delivery (BuyTricycle honoured this but did not offer, we had to request).

Once assembly could continue, we found several large areas of paint damage and once almost complete we found the derailer hanger wasn’t welded straight and the gears could not be set. We had to disassemble the whole trike and return. Luckily, Buytricycle honoured this return, but if you read the sketchy T&C’s, it implies that in some instances, this may not be the case.

Upon arranging a replacement we requested that a white trike was put aside, only to be told several days later that they had none of that colour way in stock (even though they were listed as available on EBay). We waited until the end of May for a replacement to be sent as their stock was limited (fair enough).

Several requests for delivery information ignored, we were finally told the trike would be with us on the 8th May…issues with Parcel Force apparently. Not once did Buy Tricycle update us on this, we had to call and chase the information ourselves.

We find the way this business is run baffling, and no where near an acceptable level of customer service. I now have a trike, which works but still has some paint defects and gears which can’t quite be set right (we got the replacement professionally assembled). The overall experience was horrible, and we were offered a partial refund as compensation but this was never honoured. I’ve been asked by several people where this trike is from but I won’t be recommending this company anytime soon.

They answered all my questions promptly by email and the quality of the bicycle was excellent so I recommend them for both the product and their customer service.

Love my trike! I am a 74 year old lady and since I received my tricycle last July I have been cycling around south Manchester nearly every day. I had a few frustrating moments last year whilst waiting for it to be delivered because of delays. But all good on the end. My son- in- law spent about 5 hours putting it together,then I took it to the local bike shop where they checked everything and put my basket on. Everytime I go out someone admires the trike or stops me to have a chat about it.
I recently had a broken part where the battery is attached. I emailed attaching photos and I received new parts within a few days free of charge. So excellent after sales service.

Having received my e trike,had it built by an
experienced bike builder who thought the brakes sent were a bit off kilter. No problem having these replaced, nor in sending the bike cover, missing from original box of goodies (and this even 'though more problems with post than with buytricycle.com caused further delays). It's always a wee bit annoying when things don't go exactly to plan but, sometimes that's just the way it is, no blame attached. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and very pleasant (even when I asked the blindingly obvious question about whether or not I can remove the basket 🙈). Just wanted to be sure 😄.
Love my trike and after a go around my street, can't wait to learn how to use it properly and get out into the beautiful Perthshire countryside once the weather improves. Looking forward to a happy, healthier, mobile 2022. Thank you all at buytricycle.com. Monica, Perth, Scotland.

Just wanted to add, because of the extra stability of 2 back wheels, I have more confidence in sitting up straight and looking way ahead than I ever did on a push bike.

My e- trike arrived within advised time scale with no issues with any of the parts which were all well finished. The beautiful metallic dark green paintwork was far nicer than I had expected from the pictures.
Husband and son put it together relatively easily and after my first ride, I’m really happy with it.
It looks fantastic and moves so easily. An amazing dream machine. I love it. Thank you very much.
