Avoid this company at all costs. I am three weeks late on a delivery and no contact. They do not answer the phone, web chat or emails. I suspect they are a fake company, set up to take payment for products that never arrive. That, or just incompetent

I purchased a tricycle from Buytricycle and unfortunately experienced very disappointing customer service. When a clear product defect appeared, I contacted them with photos and a detailed explanation. Despite this, the responses were slow, unclear, and did not address the actual problem. Instead of offering a proper solution, they shifted responsibility and left the issue unresolved.

A company selling mobility products should take customer concerns seriously, especially when safety and functionality are affected. My experience shows a lack of accountability and support, and I cannot recommend Buytricycle based on how my case was handled.

Edit to add that the problem has been rectified but it shouldn't take 10 weeks, 2 emails, 1 online communication form filled in, and a bad review to get a response.

Ordered a trike that wasn't as described, parts missing. Emails and messages have been ignored. Wouldn't recommend.

Habe am 9.03.2026 ein Fahrrad bestellt. Am 10.03.2026 aber die Bestellung aus persönlichen Gründen wieder storniert. Vom Verkäufer keine Reaktion. Auch auf mehrere Anfragen keinerlei Reaktion vom Verkäufer. Der Kaufpreis wurde bis zum heutigen Tag auch nicht zurück erstattet, obwohl inzwischen PayPal den Fall übernommen. Finger weg von diesem Verkäufer! In meinen Augen ein Betrüger.

The bike is nice but i paid extra for upgraded tyres. It arrived with the cheaper tyres. Cannot get an answer on the phone...answerphone, no reply to my message sent via the website, have now e mailed. Looking at other reviews, i will be surprised if i get this sorted. Shame really, a simple reply and resolution would have got them 5 stars. Next step will be a dispute process via paypal. If you buy from here, make sure you have some sort of buyer protection like a credit card etc.

Excellent, l am so pleased with my tricycle. It looks absolutely wonderful, better than l was expecting and it's a lot bigger too. Well worth every penny that l paid for it. Everything that you need is there and even all the washers, screws, etc are all packed in their own bags and also labelled so you know where they go which is fab. I would definitely recommend this trike to anybody that is looking for a really well made tricycle. Colour and design are lovely. Packaging and delivery was fab.

Just got the Scout electric folding trike from buytricycle.com and its honestly been brilliant for getting about without the car all the time. The 250W motor and that 14Ah battery give really decent power – managed over 30 miles easy on pedal assist, even with some of the hilly bits round here in the UK.The folding frame is proper light (alloy i think) so it stores dead easy in my tiny flat or fits in the boot no bother. Got the 6-speed Shimano gears and disc brakes which feel smooth as anything. Took me about an hour to put together – instructions are a bit rubbish tbh but support got back to me quick when i asked about one bit. Its super stable on three wheels which is ace if your balance isnt great anymore, and the comfy seat (with the backrest add-on) makes longer rides actually enjoyable instead of killing your back. Bargain at the sale price, turned up quick from the UK warehouse and they chucked in a free basket and few other bits which was nice. Definatly recommend if your after a solid, fun e-trike that feels well made!

Assembly took me less than an hour with basic tools. The ride quality is fantastic: the motor gives smooth, effortless assistance up gentle slopes, the wide seat is genuinely comfortable for longer outings, and the large rear basket swallows groceries or a picnic blanket without issue. I’ve clocked over 28 miles on a single charge while exploring local trails and stopping for coffee. The three-wheel stability makes turning at low speeds feel secure, and the brakes are sharp and confidence-inspiring. It’s become my favorite way to spend a sunny afternoon—highly recommend it to anyone looking for easy, enjoyable cycling.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my electric trike purchased from buytricycle Delivery was super quick over the christmas period and packaging protected everything perfectly. The motor assistance is smooth and quiet, the battery easily lasts 30 miles on mixed terrain, and the overall construction feels premium. Living with fibromyalgia, the stable three-wheel platform has made outdoor activity enjoyable again instead of painful.

I ordered and paid to Buy Tticycle for a tricycle on July 27. It was handed over to DPD UK on July 31, and since August 8 the tracking has been stuck with no updates.
I contacted Buy Tricycle four times asking them to request a parcel search, but they completely ignored me. Without the sender’s action, DPD will not investigate, so I am left with no tricycle, no refund, and no support.
This company is unreliable and untrustworthy. They take your money and refuse to take responsibility when problems occur.
Warning to future customers: avoid Buy Tricycle at all costs.

After numerous attempts to contact DPD UK, they finally asked me to provide the parcel details. Their response was that my information did not match theirs. They refused my request to start a parcel search and advised me to contact the sender again. For the fifth time, I asked Buy Tricycle to request a parcel search from DPD UK, and once again they ignored me.
DPD UK then again refused to initiate a parcel search. I cannot understand or accept DPD UK's refusal to search for a parcel at the recipient’s request, especially when the sender refuses to make that request. This shows a complete lack of responsibility from DPD UK towards the customer. Such behaviour only enables possible fraud, which—even if unintentional—is still a criminal act.
Due to the complete disregard shown by both Buy Tricycle and DPD UK, I ended up without my tricycle and lost 386.33 EUR.
Beware of Buy Tricycle and DPD UK.

An absolute disgrace of a company, zero communication.

Email: no reply (three emails, two direct and via website form)
Live chat: absolute joke (an hour and no response, nothing live about it)

Ordered with 4-5 day delivery option, order stayed on processing, no communication for nine days so PayPal refunded.

Stay away from these, they are trouble.

The imaginary email you sent hasn't shown up yet (no spam, nothing), the imaginary courier wasn't seen on our real cctv system, and the imaginary tracking number wasn't provided, very strange!

Terrible attempt to blame the customer, shame on you.

Ordered in June and original delivery was supposed to be 4th July. No delivery, complained and eventually told 13th July. didn't happen. No reply to phone calls or emails. Avoid like the plague as customer service is shocking. Trying to get refund but will probably have to go through credit card company.

Mijn order zou 4 juli bezorgd worden maar dat gebeurde niet. Na email kreeg ik een excuusmail het zou nu 13 juli worden. Daarna heb ik niets meer gehoord en kan geen contact meer krijgen. Dus tips aan dit bedrijf: wees eerlijk, houd contact en betaal mensen netjes hun geld terug als je niet kunt leveren. Ik had naïef genoeg altijd een hoge pet op van de Engelsen, weer een illusie armer.

Where to begin, this has been a total nightmare and their lack of any form of communication is ridiculous.

Placed an order on 7th June for an item due in stock the next week, to date, still waiting on delivery (22nd July), I was told after 20th June, it would be delivered around 30th, then on 8th July, told it would be delivered 13th July.

Since then, total silence, they have not responded to any emails, any chat messages, any calls or forms sent from their website, just complete blackout. Last hope would be someone actually reads this and gets in contact.

Just for their complete lack of updates and communication it has to be a 1* review, I don't mind things being delayed, I have accepted every delay they have advised me about and said as long as I know about it, it is fine, but how long can this go on for?

Ich habe vor 2 Wochen bestellt und warte immer noch auf die Lieferung, welche angeblich innerhalb von 4-5 Tagen ankommen soll. Auf keine meiner Nachfragen (weder per E-Mail noch per Kontaktformular oder Chat) wurde reagiert. Ich fühle mich einfach nur übers Ohr gezogen! Werde nun eine Rückbuchung des bereits gezahlten Kaufpreises in bei meiner Bank in Auftrag geben.

I recently upgraded to one of their electric tricycles, and I’m loving it. The 250w motor gives just the right boost, and it handles really well on the road.

Ordered on eBay on 30th June with expected delivery in 2/3 days at latest by 6th July. When not received by due date and having received no communication from company that order had been dispatched or delayed I messaged them 3 times through eBay with no response. Have tried to contact them on the phone no quoted but voice message says there is no one to answer your call & advised voicemail full. Message also advised you email them or use live chat on their website. There in live chat option avl on website. Given that website & eBay site currently show all bike colours are out of stock except green the colour I ordered the company either has supply issues or Worse. Order at your peril red flag raised.

Terrible company order and paid for trike on 24th April via eBay . No delivery or refund or no communication !?
