Never ending contract!
Terrible 3rd party company who lock you into a contract that you can’t get out of.Had missed collections on various occasions and then they have the audacity to charge you extra weight on next collection because it’s the clients responsibility to report missed pick up!
Tried to cancel contract after missed collections to be told we have to pay 46% of the outstanding contract, surely the missed collections are a breach of contract.
Would never use again and never recommend

Good morning,
We’re sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. You have mentioned missed collections, since your collections started in October 2021, I can only see 1 recent case reporting 2 missed collections. As per our normal processes, we investigated this, and a credit was applied for 1 missed collection.
The 2nd missed collection was recovered before the next collection was due, meaning a credit would not be applicable. A supplier will charge excess weight for the waste being removed, however, the credit for the missed collection will have more than covered the £1.25 charge for the excess weight that was recorded when the collection was recovered.
The T&Cs of the contract were sent over at the time of set up, and we are happy to resend them if requested. As discussed with our Customer Service Manager on the call on Friday, like most contracts, if they are broken before the end of the term then an early termination fee would apply for all contractual charges that would be applied until the end date. Despite the call where you mention on the call you may leave a review, we’re sorry that you felt there was still a need to post this review.

Your bins were delivered to you within 1 day of placing your order, for the first collection on 29/07. You however cancelled your Direct Debit before that date (on 19/07) and we have not been able to contact you via phone or email since. This is why no collection has been done as yet, as your services are currently on stop.
We have tried to call you again just now but still can't get through. Please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Hello.
I thought I would write a review for every bad experience of BetterWaste. The staff are great to deal with, but, I should not even know their names. BetterWaste should simply do what they said they would do - collect the bin every two weeks, no more, no less.
I have been credited for a missed collection and also charged for excess weight for the missed collection.
I think that this deserves possibly a 5star review for effort by BetterWaste however, it is another 1star review for BetterWaste service for bin collection.
The staff are helpful however the service that i am paying for is absolutely dreadful.
