Dreadful experience.
Order was slow to arrive & looked very different to advertising pictures, so was unusable.
Money had been paid to UK but (self-pay) return address was Hong Kong, with caveats that would give them easy get-outs.
I would advise prospective purchasers to be very certain of their desire & the risks before parting with money. 🥵

Hidden Return Policy
I have EIGHT AV-8 watches over a five year period, and I am delighted with the products.
I purchased a GMT, and was so delighted with it, I decided to buy the same watch again in a different colour.
When I received the watch, the colour green was very muted compared to the photographs online.
I decided to return it for a refund.
Whilst their website mentions that customers will be responsible for the cost of returns, it completely fails to disclose that returns must be shipped to Hong Kong.
I was astounded to find that the cheapest means of return was £25!!!
Despite writing to AV-8 to complain, my comments about the cost were ignored.
They have now lost a regular and repeat customer.
I will not be purchasing any more of their products.
As a regular customer, I do not feel that they have provided a good service. I assumed that the returns were either the UK, or Europe - NOT Hong Kong!
Unless you are absolutely certain that you will be keeping the watch before you order it, buyers beware of the high costs of returns!

I returned the watch to solar the distributor of av1 watches in hongkong still waiting on my refunded numerous emails to them no reply.Do not buy these watches they are shipped from hongkong unknown to me and also they wiil not go through customs as unknown to me as it has a battery inside the watch I am stiil £125.00 out of pocket plus £20.00 postage

First impressions of the watch are good. Looks great and for the sale price of £209 would be 4 stars. But it's full price is £440 and had I paid that I'd not be so happy.
As I said it looks great, but when compared to £400 Bulova I have, the Bulova just looks in a different class.
Have read reviews about the lasting quality and poor customer services, but as I've only had it 3 days I can't comment as it's all working fine.

Beautiful looking watch however, after only 13 months, it developed a loud rattling noise. I reached out to AVI8 who said it must be sent overseas (possibly for weeks) at my own cost just to determine what the issue is. AVI8 doesn’t have a service centre in Australia.
Watch is nice but features are useless. Glow in the dark which they very actively promote is terrible and last minutes.
The watch strap broke at the clasp and their customer service refuse to resolve it under warranty and instead demand £70 for a new strap.
Quality is poor and this is a very very cheap watch sold at a premium
Dreadful service. Bought a watch and the hands got stuck. Within warranty and sent to service centre. Receipt acknowledged. Heard nothing further. Told they were waiting for parts from AVI 8. Contacted them who said I needed to liaise with service centre. I said no as parts due from them. I was then told watch going to Hong Kong for repair. I asked for a refund and they said no as not within 30 days of purchase. I pointed out that the watch isn’t fit for purpose so I am rejecting it and want a refund. I like the watch but have lost faith in the product and service. I will sue if no refund in 7 days.
the time always late. brought it to the service center (of the store which i bought the watch. they said that they already switch the machine with the new one. it didn't take a long time for the watch to be late again.

Quelle surprise de voir que en plus d'arnaquer les gens sur les conditions de vente, je me suis fait aussi escroquer sur la qualitée du produit.
Apres avoir porté cette montre au maximum 5 fois, le bouton de remontage a deja sauté... une camelote chinoise ??
Et quand je demande un retour SAV, je dois envoyer un colis de nouveau A MES FRAIS !!!! dans un atelier à Besençon ... Cette expérience d'achat et certainement ce que j'ai connu de pire depuis 20 ans d'achats sur internet.... FUYEZZZ FUYEZZZ C'est une escroquerie organisée
Montre commandée et reçue en juillet 2024. Le site affiche clairement « FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE ».
Le mécanisme du mouvement automatique s’est détaché au mois d’août (il n’y a pourtant eu aucun choc). Le service client fait le mort.
En septembre 2024 je reçois un premier courrier de FedEx me réclamant 70€ de frais de douane. Puis un 2eme et un 3eme ce mois de novembre, menaçant d’un recours en justice.
Arnaque totale ! Il est hors de question de payer ces frais de douane non indiqués à la commande ! Surtout pour une montre qui ne fonctionne plus !!

Netjes optijd ontvangen. Maar het deed niet aan verwachtingen. Het merk AVI is van goede kwaliteit.
Maar bij dit bedrijf moet je niet terug sturen. Het zit uiteindelijk in Hong Kong..Staat nergens vermeld op hun site . Ingewikkelde verzendinstructies en hoge kosten naar China .Het retourneren is heel streng . Ze verzinnen alles om niet terug te hoeven betalen. Je bent je geld en horloge kwijt . !! AVI is prima , maar koop niet bij dit bedrijf en zoek in eigen land of regio . Beste en betrouwbaar is Amazon.

Beautiful watch…that’s about it. The glow in the dark feature which is a major part of the advertising, worthless. Keep a flashlight nearby. Haven’t had it long enough to determine if it keeps accurate time, but judging from other reviews that is a big NO. My Seiko can be read in the dark all night long, this lasts no more than 2 minutes.

Good looking watch. Loved it. Until it went wrong and wouldn’t work 14 months into a 24 month warranty. Sent it back to the manufacturer who returned it in the same non functioning state saying nothing wrong. Utter rubbish. It didn’t tell the time! Did the process a second time and same outcome.
In the end sent it back to Amazon who were great and refunded the purchase price. So the upshot is don’t by a good looking watch from a poor manufacturer and even worse customer service.
5 montres commandées à des dates différentes cette année et hier réception de 5 factures FedEx allant de 50 à 60€ !
Avi-8 est au courant de cette situation mais ne prévient toujours pas CLAIREMENT ses clients de ces frais supplémentaires à chaque commande, pour moi ça s'appelle de l'arnaque.
Quand on commande sur un site anglais on ne s'attend forcément pas à ce que les prix indiqués soient HT et non pas TTC et surtout que les articles sont expédiés via la Chine.
Je mets quand-même une étoile pour la qualité des montres mais ce sera clairement la dernière fois que je commanderais sur ce site !!!
Après un achat (qui a mis du temps à arriver), une petite remise et un prix correct avec des frais d'expédition corrects. J'ai reçu une lettre de FedEx me réclamant des frais d'expédition et de dédouanement de 65,28€!!!! La montre me revient donc extrêmement chère!! Et bien sûr cela n'est mentionné nulle part!! Une honte!! Surtout n'achetez pas, vous allez sentir passer la facture par la suite!!

Je n'ai pas bien compris sur quel site vous l'avez acheter car il serait bien de le noter pour que les autres ne se fassent pas avoir.
Ensuite pourquoi avoir payé les frais de douane 2 mois après alors que l'envoi était gratuit et que vous aviez le produit ?.
Vous en êtes sûr que c'est le site et pas Fedex qui joue à ce jeu car le site vous l'aurez facturé mais comme ils disent envoi gratuit. Il faut se poser les bonnes questions
La cupidité a vouloir tout sans payer vous finissez par le payer cher alors qu'il y a des sociétés Françaises où tout est clair
