A great experience buying from auto 100. I picked up my Stelvio QF on a very busy Saturday plus I missed my booking due to train delays up from London. But no matter, Terry spent the time to go through everything, so me round and explain all the controls. Will be telling others about the good experience. If they could do something about the road into the site, I’m sure all other buyers would equally appreciate it!!! Many thanks Terry.
The single worst experience of buying anything, let alone a car
I bought a Range Rover from auto100 the first week of January 2026, by the time I had drove it home c100 miles, I already had a list of 5 things that were seriously wrong with it that I was going to email them about.
The car wouldn’t accelerate if at all sometimes and the drive ability was awful, the car started after cranking for between 5 and 10 seconds, there was a banging/ thud coming from the differential, and the battery was flat.
After about two weeks they collected the car and I agreed to let them try and fix it. They took the car and couldn’t give me a courtesy car because they didn’t know when one was available so I had no choice but to allow them to collect the car and beg and borrow a car so that we could get around.
They had the car for about two full months, trying to fix it. That’s 2 months paying for a Range Rover without a courtesy car.
You may think I’m making this up but I have all the evidence in the world backing this up but they told me they replaced the following; timing chain, all injectors, engine wiring loom, battery, starter motor, egr valve, egr cooler, earth point and a diff bush.
So you’d like to think have a brand new car then.
I got it back on 24 March 2026, with an extra 500 mile or so on the clock but well gloss over that. I drove the car home from work, seemed ok, went in to have my tea, went back out and the car wouldn’t start. So at this point I’m beyond fed up.
They eventually came out to collect the car I’m still paying for and took it back after agreeing to reject the car.
That was the fist week of April. I’m still waiting for my deposit back after being told that they had completed the unwinding, I’ve just contacted the finance company to be told that they haven’t received the cash back either and that the garage are trying to repay it as a settlement quote, meaning they pay less back and I don’t get my instalments back.
Despite this review I’m sort of lost for words at the level of customer service I have received I have had to chase and beg for every single update since I bought this car apart from maybe one or two phone calls.
So now the complaint is with the finance company in an effort to try and get this resolved. So I’m a deposit down and 4 monthly instalments down and no end in sight.
I’m sure they will have something to say about this review but if anyone wants any more info I’m on all the owners groups on Facebook for Range Rover bmw and Porsche where I’d be happy to talk at length and give any more detail anyone needs

I am genuinely disappointed at the outcome as I did like the car and the range of cars you offer.
You did collect and deliver the car and you did attempt to repair it, but you did not offer me a courtesy car, if you did I wouldn’t have chosen to borrow and hire a car for the past 3 months out of my own pocket.
For transparency Auto100 have refunded me my deposit within 3 hours of this review so thank you for that.
I am still paying the finance for this car so we still need to get that resolved and unwound so I get my money back and not through a settlement quote.
Can someone please update me on the finance issue, feel free to pick up the phone Tom or we can talk on here…

I picked up my car from Auto100 yesterday and have to say that the whole experience from start to finish was absolutely 100%
When I first enquired about the car a week ago, I had a very prompt call back from Chris, who was courteous, and expertly knowledgeable. We worked out a fair part exchange and a great finance deal quickly - I was not pressured at any point.
In the week before pickup, I was communicated to and kept informed.
On the day of collection, from the moment we walked into the frankly amazing location, we were warmly welcomed and looked after.
We dealt with Terry, who was superb in all respects. We were given every opportunity to look over the car, which was exactly as described and prepared to an incredible standard.
Nothing was too much trouble for Terry - he even helped me to retain my cherished plate that I worried I might lose.
I cannot fault anything about the whole process. Auto100 are one of those rare companies that appreciate that the customer is at the heart of any business.
I would absolutely recommend, and I would look to Auto100 first for my next car.

Second time I have bought a car from the team here but first time I have traded in.
Really easy to deal with. They price fairly and the trade in was also very fair. No chipping the price etc.
Handover process with Dan was excellent. Took lots of time with me to make sure everything was as expected & his enthusiasm for all things cars made the experience memorable.
Have recommended others to Auto100 and would do so again.

Purchased a Maserati Levante from Auto 100.
The experience before completing the purchase was genuinely very good. I was collected from the station, shown the car properly, and overall the service at that stage gave confidence in the dealership.
Unfortunately, everything changed once the sale was completed. I reported issues with the sound system and a chipped windscreen immediately after collection. While I was initially told these would be looked into, there was no meaningful follow-up.
Despite multiple messages, phone calls to the office, and being assured that someone would get back to me, I was ultimately ignored and left to deal with the issues myself.
What’s particularly disappointing is not the issues themselves, these things can happen but the complete lack of after-sales support and accountability once payment had been made.
A good dealership is measured not just by how they sell a car, but by how they handle things afterwards. In this case, the aftercare fell well below expectations.

Landrover Defender
Purchase a Range Rover Autobiography off Auto 100 in December and the hole experience was brilliant, so when it came to changing the wife's car it was the first place to check, they had the perfect Landrover Defender in the colour she was after. Shocking company!!!
Auto100 should be banned from the motorway.com Matt bids on vehicles and doesn’t follow through, no contact was made from the dealer after multiple attempts to contact them which meant the deal fell through. Seen several others have experienced the same by the look of the negative reviews I’ve seen. This company is run cowboys stop wasting people’s time!!!
