Delivery of the kit was really bad as you used a snail mail Service.
Results are vague.
No indication on jewish ancestry.

Not enough people to connect to.
After i cancelled my subscription I was somehow charged 79$ once again.
I feel I paid too much overall for a small amount of information.
Repetitive emails..“hints.”

I’m having trouble finding out what nationality i am ! for example 50% Scottish 50% Germany example can you please guide me to the right area to find out?

Cannot access my results. Have been told a code would be sent. Nothing arrived.

i thought i would of found what side i would be like

it is very complicated to use. I know my birth father has 12 children and why are all of them marked private. I had this done so I could see my relatives. This is not helping me at all

Took forever for results and I have to pay so many extras to have a membership and to get more information it's disappointing

I was disappointed to have paid extra for the 'traits' feature, to only learn some marginally interesting "likelihoods", eg) "not likely to have a metal sensitivity" (actually, I DO have a metal sensitivity, soooo....)-- I was hoping for something more useful, like "likelihood of developing Alzheimer's disease", maybe some more hints about what's coming, so I can be better equipped to mitigate future challenges.
Overall, I was sorely disappointed by how many features remained behind a paywall, and I learned only the most marginally interesting factoids about my ancestry, but absolutely nothing in terms of "building a family tree" (also costs more money, so my tree is more of a twig... oh look, it's my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents-- nothing new learned there, and I can't afford to add my brother or his or my offspring to the tree). I guess I thought the whole experience would be a little more "open" so that I could learn about ancestors and connect with others, but it's more like a paid social media platform that I can't afford to use. Annoying to have spent that money and to have not gotten very much out of it.

It all new to me but its been a great experience. I have heard from others about Ancestry.ca and I'm very happy that I created an account.

My partner David Hancock and I send in both DNA samples at the same time. I have received mine, but my information has also been sent to David, and he has not received any data.

I ordered the kit. Got my sample off to them. They charged me 150$ for the premium account while I’m still waiting for my results, don’t have much to work with still. I would think they would wait until one gets their results before charging for the account. They would not refund me even though I said I would accept the charge once I received my results. Not cool.

Terrible, I have not learned anything that I already didn't know. The updates come but nothing new, and when I try to search for "hints" I end up with your search revealed no results but you and UPGRADE your search for a monthly payments starting at $14.99 to $29.99. I have paid $106.00 to start with and was just recently charged another $79.00 and for what, I have learned nothing new.

I thought you emailed list of my great grandparents. grandparents and parents names and place of birth.

I'm not impressed, so far. Yes, it is interesting to see my origins, however, I initiated this to fill in some holes in my family tree. So now you are holding that information basically hostage, until I pay for it. IF I had know that, I would not have done it in the first place. The initial cost was enough for me.

I believe some traits to be incorrect as I can smell asparagus in pee, I have hair on fingers, I don’t have patchy facial hair, I don’t have any cavities.

I remember seeing my great grandfather's death certificate as a child. Now I see it digitally as an adult! I was able to go back 2 more generations which was amazing!

Malheureusement extremement décu. Ayant fait l expérience avec My heritage, qui détaillait mes origines européennes. My ancetry m as simplement préciser que j étais 78% du Québec. Chose que je savais déja. C étais mes origines avant l installation de mes ancetres au Québec je j aurais aimer savoir.

i have been sent a email that my results are ready but when i try to log in it bounces to a page that tries to re- register me again, will not let me past that, however if i go into my account my account and password are good!

Although there were quite a few "traits" given (96) they didn't really expound on them, telling me where they originate from, other tha a few mentioned districts in Poland and the Ukraine. I am sure my late relatives were located in many more places than there, and I believe they were gypsy romas, so they would have been more widely travelled, especially through Europe and India. I would like to know how my parents affect my traits and to what extent they are related to my mother and my father as well as my grandparents. For what the DNA testing costs, it should give the person more of that sort of information, and I hope when included into my family ancestry tree that will happen. Otherwise I cannot justify the cost.
