I ordered in November 2023, considering the circumstances in Palestine right now, I absolutely did not mind having to wait that long. I know money has reached Hibarwi factory, which is the whole point.
I do not understand people on here complaining, who are supposed to be showing solidarity to the last Keffiyah factory open in Palestine, but seemingly only care about receiving their scarf to wear out and about in public.
I got an email today to say my Keffiyah has arrived and I cannot wait to pick it up.
They take your money and then ignore you
This company is happy to take your money when they have no way of knowing for sure if they will be able to fulfil your order. They ignore all efforts to contact them and have limited replies on their social media channels. I placed an order in December and have had no communication from the company since. Hirbawi only take orders when they have stock available, that feels like a much better business model.

Avoid. All attempts of contact via social media, the general email and the support inbox have been without response. Order made in March. Almost September no updates given. Impossible to get hold of. They have limited replies on social media channels also. Money has been taken and no order shipped.
DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM
Absolute silence for 7 months after placing a $150+ order and nothing being shipped. After saying I was going to get my bank involved, my order was canceled with no communication to me. Now I'm fighting to receive my money back. AVOID ABU WEAR.
Order 2nd of December 2023
I am so disappointed. I placed my order in December of last year expecting a delivery time of about 3-4 months. I was determined to wait patiently. However after 8 months of waiting I decided to cancel my order and was issued a refund after sending a legal letter. I haven't left any negative reviews or comments, however after going through months of gaslighting and guilt tripping from this company against their customers I am not willing to leave without warning others. I am certain that everyone who ordered from this company did so with the best of intentions and a deep awareness of what is happening in Palestine. To use a genocide and the suffering of the Palestinian people as an excuse for your own failures and shortcomings as a company is absolutely disgusting. To make your customers feel bad for daring to ask when they might be able to expect their orders is appalling and I've never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I don't know if they used the surge of support as a means to increase their personal wealth but it sure seems that way. I hope everyone who was let down gets their money back although I doubt it. I would advise anyone from ordering from this company as they do not make you feel valued as a customer, they do not respond to questions, they've turned off their comments and occasionally post on social media to lash out at those customers who rightfully feel frustrated and scammed. It seems the only way to get a response is by taking legal action. Please order from Hirbawi directly, I received my order within 3 months and they always responded to my queries with kindness and gratitude to me as a customer during these difficult times.
Avoid Abu Wear
If I could leave no stars I would. Abu Wear have an appalling customer service seeking dates for delivery. I ordered two scarves on 1 Jan 2024 and expected a delivery relatively shortly. Yet here I am and no scarves but I am £50 poorer. I've sent numerous emails and sometimes I get an acknowledging email, the contents of which are gobbledegook or no email at all (and definitely no scarves). My advice: stay well away as I think this a scam and I will be having to make a claim for monies paid. Never again and really disappointing as I wanted to purchase items that I felt would benefit Palestinian workers. Like another reviewer I hope my money did reach its destination and/or the scarves turn up in the future but I'm not holding my breath.

I ordered in February and no updates at all!!! Hirbawi can get them out quicker than this company who still hasn't stopped taking preorders dispite they have over 6 months waitlist.... Do not pre order go directly as they only allow preorder for product about to ship then they stop pre orders...

I ordered in Dec 2023 and still haven't received my order. For the ones saying people are missing context, if you are not able to fulfill current orders that don't take or order people to order more. Their customer service is non existent. You can sent emails, noone replies for months. No updates either. The last one was in March via email saying basically nothing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP, ORDER DIRECTLY IT WILL BE FASTER. Anyway I'm hoping I'll see my money at some stage but won't hold my breath..
Disrespectful, gaslighting, no communication
We all perfectly know what's going on in Palestine (even though Abu and some others here try to make you think you don't and shame you), and that's why we are here trying to support a local Pal business: what we don't know is what's going on in Belfast to prevent this vendor from communicating with customers about their orders and money - since December I just received a couple of e-mails with no infos and rants against customers who in their opinion were just a bunch of insensitive egoistical guys who don't understand what's going on. If you don't have the ability to deal with orders, just stop taking thousands of pre-orders as this does not benefit anybody, not even Hirbawi. I suggest to shop directly from Hirbawi, they restock regularly (so you order what is actually already in stock, no pre-orders, and most importantly your money goes directly to them) and have great communication in place. Finally I was able to get a refund from Abu (after submitting two requests to change my address that were completely ignored, so a refund was my only option) and managed to get a kufiya from Hirbawi.
Robbery
I ordered 3 kufiya's in January, 6 months ago. I received a confirmation email saying that my order is getting ready to be shipped. I havent recieved my Kufiya's and have had no updates or correspondence from Abu Wear. The Kufiya's that I ordered directly from Hirbawi have been delivered within 3 months, and I recieved lots of updates during the process. I've contacted them a few times with no response. They have £90 of my money which is basically theft. ORDER DIRECTLY FROM HIRBAWI. Even if they are out of stock, they restock quickly and have great communication.

Other companies are managing to deliver yet you cannot even be bothered to give updates. You are still taking orders? Why? Surely you should fulfil the orders you already have?? I believe they mean well but no point joining the back of this queue.
I've been waiting patiently since the end of January. I really want to show my support and I understand the situation in Gaza. I'm not sure what's stopping a company in Northern Ireland from updating customers online though, even if it's a weekly/monthly post to say where they are with orders. It also seems odd that they've turned off comments on their posts so customers can't even talk amongst themselves. At this point I'm treating my money as a donation and keeping my fingers crossed that it gets to Gaza.
Whilst I remain cautiously optimistic I'd advise against joining the queue at Abuwear. At best, they've got their hands full trying to do the right thing and simply can't handle any new orders.

Update, this company is a scam, ceased trading, no way to contact, fake ticketing system and chat bot. Have recieved 2 kuffiyas with under 1 month wait from elsewhere
Understand it's a small company with thousands of back orders and the situation in Palestine is only escalating BUT why still take preirders, why not issue email or social media updates, why is there literally radio silence on all communication. This gives the impression of a scam and IS a total lack of care for customers. 6 months and waiting.....

I ordered 4 scarves in January 2024 and was told the wait time would be 3-4 months. After that time period I reached out through service tickets, emails and social media messages with zero response. They have now disabled comments on all of their social media platforms as well. My credit company will not charge back due to the amount of time lapsed. Now I am out close to $200 which could have gone to other means of support. Disgraceful and unethical!

I ordered two keffiyehs in Febuary knowing that it would take a month to get delivered due to them coming directly from Palestine (Hirbawi). However. It's been 6 months now and I still haven't recieved my keffiyehs. I sent two emails to Abu Wear to inquire about my order (the status of my order still says 'Order received') but nobody ever even bothered replying. I never got the keffieyehs or my £65 back. Quite disgusting for a company to be exploiting people's desire to show solidarity. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER.

This place is somewhat of a joke. Happy to continue taking pre-orders and having people join an ever-growing list of ignored customers who simply wish to make a change or an enquiry or cancel their order.
When some critiques are laid out to them they either ignore them or if you have a platform they will turn off comments altogether.
If you can't manage the size of your customer base slow down, put systems in place and continue on, or just point people towards the Hirbawi website if you care about more than profit.
It's a really a shame rather than this you point the fingers elsewhere. From your customers to your payment service.
Yes, selling for a good cause is a great thing to do, but that doesn't allow you to shield yourself behind it from customers wanting information. Hell even posting a weekly update to your SNS or resharing stories from Harbawi or other demos would be better than radio silence.
Please cancel my order as I have asked via email. Since I was unable to update it back in June.

I ordered in November and with few notification and reassurances messages I ordered again in January as at this point was mentioned that could take around 3months to delivery. I started to chase the novembre order which later I received in May.
No updates or response yet about the later order.

It is understandable with this on going Genoicide under the most terrorist occupation force there could be multiple problems in getting this so haunted symbol of Palestine struggle. I am not sure if is quicker purchasing directly from Hirbawi though but surely comunication is MUST.
