More unfulfilled orders
Made two orders back in Jan 2024 with the understanding that they didn't have kufiyas in stock, which was fine.
What is not fine is that they instantly took the money for the order (which they don't apparently send to Hirbawi until they receive the stock) and then have gone completely silent. No acknowledgement of emails, very few updates, no option to receive a refund. Considering asking my bank to do a chargeback and then ordering direct from Hirbawi instead.
I'll be more than happy to update this review and change it if my order ever arrives
Abu wear accept payment and don’t refund for goods not sent
I placed two orders in December 2023. I have contacted the company multiple times to request a refund. In the end up I ordered the kuffiyahs direct from hirbawi in Palestine after 8 months of no reply from Abu wear. The kuffiyahs arrived from hirbawi in a timely manner with no issue. I cannot understand how Abu wear cannot do the same. They will not reply to me and one of my orders wasn’t even a kuffiyah, it was for a (long passed now) birthday.
I wish negative stars were possible
I wish negative stars were possible. Like many, I trusted they would send my paid order in a reasonable time. I ordered in Jan 2024. The only response I get is help desk ticket numbers. My friend received a full refund when she said she would take further action. I have done the same, no response. We need a collective response to ensure we receive refunds.
This company needs investigating by Trading Standards
Ordered from this outfit just before Christmas 2023 but (what a surprise) have received neither the goods I paid for nor any communication from AbuWear about my order. The company has ignored every attempt at communication, which sadly seems to be the case for many other unsuspecting customers. In the light of the apparently scamming nature of this company, I'd suggest others in the same position consider reporting Abu Wear to Action Fraud (Police UK) and Belfast Trading Standards (see Consumerline website).
Abu Wear is profiteering from Palestine's misery, which is indefensible.

If it was possible to give zero stars i would, this company has scammed money of thousands of people for Harbawi scarfs from Palestine. I paid for 2 scarfs over a year ago and have received nothing from them, they don't even have the decency to reply to emails. They have put up a few posts on Instagram basically blaming the customers for being impatient instead of actually taking responsibility for taking on orders that they couldn't fulfill. Only within the last few months did they actually turn off the pre order for the scarfs so they have been fraudulently taking money from customers for months and months knowing full well the customers were never getting anything they had paid for! my order number was 4164 (i can only imagine how high the number went after mine) if people were only ordering 1 x scarf at £30 x 4164 they racked in a minimum of £125,000.00! I know for a fact a lot of people were ordering 2, 3 or 4 scarfs at once so they have scandalously raked in 100s of thousands of pounds of peoples hard earned money. Going forward I shall be taking this up with trading standards and reporting them to all the relevant sources.

Ordered a Hirbawi kufiya in January 2024. Money has been taken and no order shipped. Zero response to emails, messages and chat on the website. Lack of empathy. I've never seen anything like this. Worst customer service experience ever.
In the meantime I bought three kufiyas directly from Hirbawi factory. Despite the difficult situation, pleasantly surprised by Hirbawi professionalism and great communication.
Avoid Abu Wear. Support Hirbawi family, the last kufiya factory in Palestine! Wonderful people and you will be helping the Palestinian people directly!

Over a year and despite several emails no response! I am lost for words how lower people can get to use others misfortune to line their pockets! Remember you will be held accountable for this only a matter of time! Anyone wanting order please do not do it you will never receive anything not even a response!
Lying, opportunistic thieves
They told me they refunded me eight days ago and have ignored every email I sent asking when I’d receive it. I contacted my bank and they confirmed no such refund was sent. My 3 orders are 13 months old. I’ve begun legal proceedings.

I wanted to have a genuine Hirbawi Kufiyah to show my support of the palestinian people and that in purchasing a genuine made in palestine kuffiyah the money would be going to where it is needed.
This company has taken the money for the kuffiyah and the postage and has ignored all requests for information for over a year from when I first ordered.
I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt - I waited for 11 months and then decided to order directly from Hirbawi - my order arrived in 32 days and cost half the postage that Abu Wear have stolen from me.
Hirbawi can fulfil an order directly despite being in the midst of a gen o cide but Abu Wear can't?
The theft is bad but using what is happening in Palestine to line their own pockets is truly despicable.

Do not order from these people. They are taking advantage of people’s good will to take their money for things they can not deliver. I suspect the positive reviews here are fake, as they continue to take more money from people, while people who ordered a year ago still have not gotten their orders. They do not respond to emails. They have lost the trust of their customers. They do not answer phone calls. They have made it so customers can no longer comment on their FB page to alert potential new costumers. It is so sad they are making the Palestinian business they claimed to be selling for look bad.

It's been a year since my order. I've emailed, called, messaged, tried contacting through facebook and instagram many many times and I've received no response at all. Money was taken within days of order but not heard anything since.

I purchased a Hirbawi Kufyia from Abú Wear, and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! NO communication in over a year
Placed a pre-order on a Hirbawi kufiya in November 2023. Around May this year, I sent them an email asking politely if there's any update -- no response (except the automatic "we've received your request"). It is now December 2024. I still have no one from this shop return my multiple emails. Their chatbot is also useless because it just directs to their support email. It's been over a year, and there's been ZERO communication. I understand what Palestine is going through and don't question the waiting time. What is infuriating is the ghosting on the part of Abuwear.
They're sure giving me scam vibes. My order is #2031.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I ordered three kufiyas from them in January 2024. It has been almost eleven months and I haven't received anything. I have emailed their customer service twice and received a generic response. Their website states that they only stopped accepting pre-orders in September 2024. This means that they now have accepted at least nine months of money from orders that they haven't fulfilled. I have ordered directly from Hirbawi when they had stock, and received my kufiya with no problem. I have asked Abu Wear for a refund so that I can donate my money to an organization that will help Palestinians. If you want a kufiya, get on Hirbawi's email list to be alerted when they have kufiyas in stock and order from them directly.
Scam - do not order from this company
7 months with no communication after I frequently emailed and messaged. Only when I reported them to the appropriate fraud and scam authorities did I get a response - one that was manipulative and gaslighting - blaming the customers and alluding to the fact that we do not care or understand about the Palestinian cause when really it is the unprofessional manner in how they run their company that is the problem.
They cancelled my order but now after reading other reviews it seems like even when orders were cancelled people still did not receive a refund, which is even more worrying. If this happens I am happy to continue pursuing this with the right authorities as I want my money back so I can donate it to other Palestinian solidarity organisations.
For the record, my friends ordered from Hirbawi directly, and received their orders within one month - with plenty of communication and professionalism. Please only give your money to Hirbawi directly, they are a wonderful company and you will be helping the Palestinian people directly <3

Very dishonest and bad basic customer service
I placed a large order in January 2024. Like everyone says, they do not reply to any support requests and try to deflect their poor customer service issues onto Hirbawi, as well as gaslight their customers as if we don't understand delays due to the difficult situation in the West Bank.. and yet, my friend placed an order directly through Hirbawi and her order arrived from Palestine in less than a month, but somehow Abuwear can't even respond to their customers whose money they've already pocketed. They'd rather blame the issue on Hirbawi and their customers. If you read the reviews on Trustpilot, Google, and Facebook, you'll notice that people are primarily complaining about their complete lack of communication and continuing to take preorders (they only stopped doing that in September, if you even believe that), despite not being able to fulfill previous orders. Abuwear also keeps your preorder money and they don't send it to Hirbawi until your order is actually fulfilled, so don't think your money is getting to Hirbawi if you're still waiting for your order. Despite the claims on their website that they promise to do better, they haven't changed at all. I have gotten no response when trying to contact them and all they ever do is post updates about orders once every few months on their social media (once in May and not again until September because apparently it's so much work to even post more updates than that), while continuing to keep the lines of two way communication closed with their customers. I emailed them a month ago for a refund and never got a reply, and have since followed up twice with no reply and definitely no refund. I'll be filing a credit card dispute to get my money back.
