Took my money and never shipped then stopped replying to my emails

Ordered 2 back in November 2023. Nothing received, nothing responded to. 4 times I have requested a refund, and absolutely zero response either through email,. website or insta.
I have 2 keffiyehs from Hirbawi direct in the middle of a war zone, both of which arrived in under 3 weeks - with continual emailed updates.

Yet another person who has been ignored by Abú Wear. I ordered 2 kuffiyahs in January 2024. My money was taken and I received an email confirming the order and payment had been received, and I would receive my order shortly. A year and 3 months later, plus emails to the company have produced nothing. No reply, no apology and still no kuffiyahs. I sent via Hibawi directly for one kuffiyah and received it within 2 weeks!
Companies House online will provide the name and address of the company director. He is on Facebook and I also found an address for him. I have left him a message on Facebook, and if I hear nothing back I will send a letter to his contact address. I suggest everyone do this. Let's inundate him with our complaints!

Ordered a Kufiyeh on 02/01/2024. Still not arrived. Never got reply to my several emails. I suspect this is a scam

I bought 2 Kufiyas last January 2024, still havent recieved them, i've emailed multiple times throughout the year, just for an update and no response. I have no problem waiting I understand the situation but updates should be the bare minimum when its taking this long and Hirbawi only took 3 weeks from order to arrival.

The bigger issue is that they have stopped any updates on their Instagram and fb pages, closed comments, and are still continuing to take orders and peoples money when they have a year long back log of orders and are still selling kuffiyas out of their physical store from what is shown on social media.

150 dollars down the drain I could have given to Hirbawi or another Palestinian complany.

It has been over a year and I have not received my order from Abu Wear. I have contacted them by email and Instagram multiple times but received no responses (despite their claim of responding within 72 hours). Their customer service is non-existent. They literally took my payment and disappeared. This company is clearly fraudulent and I recommend everyone to stay away from them.

*UPDATE* I have taken a claim up with NI justice dept - anyone can do this online - I’m in England - perhaps they will respond

I’ve been waiting 14 months - if Hirbawi can respond from the middle of a war zone so can you - search Companies house - there is a compulsory strike off action listed in their company files although it has been discontinued? Not very reassuring

I ordered a keffiyeh directly from Hirbawi on 28th February 2025 & it arrived today 15th March 2025 so literally 2 weeks!! I have started legal proceeding against Abuwear as they ignored (predictably) my email 2 weeks ago informing them that they had 14 days to give me an update

I have placed an order for 3 Hirbawi Kuffiyehs on Dec 2023. I have emailed and contacted them via DMs on instagram and they have not responded to any of my messages. I want to cancel the order and get a refund but I am not even able to get through to them! It's unfortunate because I have waited over a year for my order when Hirbawi restocked several times since I placed my order. I will now have to raise a small claims court case to get my refund.

If only negative stars were an option. I put in my order in January 2024 and no updates, no communications. I've sent at least 10 emails following up with no response. Meanwhile, ordering directly from Hirbawi received Kufiya promptly within weeks. They are no doubt scamming Hirbawi factory in Palestine - given the number of complaints on this page. Beyond unethical what they are doing. Stay away at all costs and make sure everyone is aware of this scam of a company profiting off of a genocide. Shameless.

Only giving one star because i have to. Avoid this ‘company’ at all costs. Between me and my daughter we ordered 3 keffiye’s in November 2023. Despite trying to contact them, there is no response from them whatsoever and we still haven’t received the scarves and it’s February 2025. That’s almost £100 from us alone. I dread to think how much in total these people have stolen from the general public. I understand that Palestine is experiencing difficult situations but at least respond to requests or refund what you have stolen.

I really hate to do this but after 14 months and no real communication about what is happening I'm very frustrated. Have written asking for a refund but received no response. You never receive a response. I understand all the reasons for delay but the sheer lack of communication is inexcusable. Avoid!

Scammers! They don't respond to emails, don't send the ordered items and don't make a refund. Absolutely fraud!!!

I ordered a keffiyeh a year ago completely understanding the unpredictability and uncertainty involved ordering a Palestinian product in the midst of an active genocide perpetrated by Israel/USA on the Palestinian people. I waited patiently and asked for an update after about 7 or 8 months. I was assured more stock was coming in and my order would be fulfilled ASAP and was even offered a refund which I declined as I figured, it's be worth the wait... unfortunately I'm still waiting... further communication has been one-sided. No response whatsoever from Abuwear. In the meantime, I ordered a keffiyeh direct from Hirbawi and received it in 4 weeks. I think Abuwear possibly bit off more than they could chew here. They couldn't manage their orders and are now totally mismanaging their communication. It's a shame as I like supporting local businesses... My main issue here is the lack of communication. I don't think customers mind delays as long as they are kept informed. I know some people who ordered around the same time as me and their orders were fulfilled so it feels like a lucky dip and I guess I was unlucky... I doubt Abuwear will read this but my order was 4950 fwiw... I don't like writing disparaging reports about small businesses so if an when my order is ever fulfilled, I'll edit/delete this review accordingly but for now I think people need to know what to expect.

Joining the chorus of complaints. I ordered 3 keffiyehs in December of 2023, and as of today (January 28th, 2025), they have not arrived. No responses from Abu Wear to several emails and Instagram DMs. At this point, I think I've been robbed and believe others should know so they can avoid this company at all costs. Ive been able to order directly from Hirbawi (in Palestine!) several times and have received my keffiyehs in a few weeks.

Like many others, I ordered in January 2024. I have created two tickets over the year without any response from customer service. I didn’t expect a quick delivery, but when I ordered they were expecting a restock. A year is insane. I can’t afford to just forget about it and order direct from Hirbawi. I wish I had done so. This business would rather shut down comments then serve their customers. Either they have horrible business practices or are a complete fraud. Shame.

Pre-ordered a keffiyeh in Feb 24 and have no received any communications from the brand since. This is despite emailing their support and asking for an update in Oct 24.

While I understand there may be issues in their supply chain the lack of updates on their website (the last one is from September 24) and the lack of reply to my emails is deeply disappointing.

I have asked for a refund, hopefully I receive it.

I have just received my Kuffiya after a thirteen-month wait - and I did not mind waiting at all. In fact, given the present situation, it seems a miracle that it arrived at all! People giving one-star reviews should be mindful of the negative impact this will have upon a genuinely ethical company, who are trying to help the people of Palestine. The scarf is beautiful and I will treasure it. Be patient, and yours will come.

To all the arxseholes on here calling Abu Wear a scam, have some patience, show some fecking solidarity. There is an active genocide happening at the moment. It was a year worth waiting!!

I ordered one kufiya on the 15th Jan 2024. As with everyone else, a year on, and I’ve received nothing. I’ve emailed Abu Wear several times and no response from them. I then embarrassingly reached out to Hirbawi directly, who replied the SAME DAY!!! They said they operate as two separate businesses and said they cannot fulfil Abu Wear orders at this moment, they also said in the email addressing Abu Wear (they were cc’d), to please issue me a refund and apologised. Imagine, the factory in the West Bank can get back to me but Abu Wear in Belfast cannot??? I am truly embarrassed I had to email Hirbawi directly and apologised. I also have ordered scarves from the factory directly last year and received them (with amazing communication along the way!), so I do not have an issue with Hirbawi. My issue is with the scammers Abu Wear! I have filed an official complaint with my bank and they will be in touch with Abu Wear. I wish I could attached screenshots of my emails with Hirbawi but cannot. I wanted to do a google review but Abu Wear doesn’t seem to have one anymore?!
