I'd rate them zero at this point. I placed a pre order in January of 2024 and never received my items. I went to check the website and it has disappeared. Absolutely deplorable stealing peoples money when they want to be supportive of others experiencing genocide. They got $160 out of me. How much more have they stolen? Just horrible.

Ordered a scarf in January 2024 and they never delivered. Followed up several times and no response and now no website. What a shame when you're trying to support people who are suffering, and for an Irish company to do it?? Shame on them. We put trust and they took advantage of it.

Waiting a year and a half for my keffiyeh to come and now website is not valid!! Shocking to say the least!!

Claimed to be for the Palestinian cause but apparently just pocketed money for kufiyahs and did not send them. Really pathetic behaviour from an Irish shop. Repeatedly reached out since Dec 2023 via email with zero response.

Ordered a keffiyeh in March 2024. Didn’t expect the order to be fulfilled immediately for obvious reason. Zero response when chasing a YEAR later. They put out a statement asking people to be patient. Meanwhile the Hirbawi factory has done about 10 restocks. This company Abu Wear- presumably took 1000s of orders and the money and then didn’t fulfil them. Each item was £35.00. That’s a lot of money they’ve stolen. Website is now down. No one who supports the cause expects a factory to be able to export immediately during these circumstances, but they have actually managed to upscale to meet demand. It’s this allegedly trustworthy distributor that is the issue.

I, like others, did not mind waiting. And I received a scarf. But two others ordered in November 2023 have not come, and there has been no response to requests for info. And now the site has disappeared. That looks like a scam to me.

Site has now gone offline. Orders have not been fulfilled after two years but if you ordered direct from hirbawi you get in a few months?! Don't take on the responsibility if you can't fulfill it. Site now down says everything about these cowboys.

I ordered from them on January 10, 2024. I knew when I ordered that it might take a while due to everything going on, understandably. It has been almost 1 year and 4 months with absolutely no communication from them. I have emailed them multiple times with no responses at all. Things can happen, which I understand, especially with the amount of orders they have received, but the lack of communication for over a year is absolutely unacceptable. I am unable to refund my order and I basically cannot do anything until they contact me, which I doubt they will, seeing as they haven't responded to many individuals having the same issue.

I ordered kufiyas in November and December of 2023. I have been in touch with this company numerous times and had no reply. They posted on social media about the pressures to deliver due to stock issues from the kufiya manufacturer and then shut down comments. I have ordered directly from the manufacturer and had several orders within a few months of each other. Since then, I have asked for a refund and had no reply. I consider myself patient but waiting over a year for something that I've obtained directly from the manufacturer in a matter of weeks isn't good customer service. To date I have had no communication at all.

I ordered in Mar 2024. Item never arrived. Sadly my hard earned money gone.emailed 3x no reply at all.

So today my son who was visiting Belfast from Darlington co Durham called into the shop armed with screenshots of my order number , confirmation of order, emails etc and lo and behold the guy took all the details, went to stockroom and returned with my ordered item. It's only taken a year!!! The guy tried to apologise and my son just replied with " whatever". I do hope that everyone else waiting for their orders gets either the item or a refund. I've heard of some shoddy businesses but this has to be at the top!!

This is an update from my review on 3 February 2025. Despite ordering in November 2023, I did not receive the items. I requested a cancellation and refund. My order has been cancelled but I have received no refund of my order (£180.00)
I have chased numerous times for this refund and contacted Trading Standards. I had sent across a letter to Abu Wear stating breach of contract and requested my full refund. This has also been ignored.

I would advise everyone to contact Trading Standards if they have not received the goods or refund. Trading standards are keeping an eye on the complaints they are receiving.

I am in the process of sending my final letter before court proceedings.

I ordered a Keffiyeh i MArch 2042 and have submitted 2 tickets to get an update on shipments and have received ZERO response. This company is a bunch or scammers. I have since ordered a Keffiyeh direct from the factory in Hirbawi and received it within 6 weeks....the very same design that I ordered from Abuwear, so I don't see how they are not getting stock or not shipping when Hirbawi can in the middle of a war zone. STEER CLEAR!!!!!

I ordered back in 2023, I didn’t try contacting them until late 2024, 6 months have passed without response, I just got an automated ticket number.
I’ve ordered twice directly from Hirbawi and Hirbawi has tried to email Abu wear on my behalf because I asked if they’re actually a distributer or not. They are a recognized seller but thats about it. If you’re looking to get a scarf and arent too picky, you can sign up for alerts on the hirbawi website. Eventually you’ll get invited to buy when they have any stock. It’ll put you into a wait room for thousands of people, but doesn’t take long to get thru and you can pick from what’s available. It’s limited. This is legitimate and I’ve received two scarves and some beads from Hirbawi.
It’s pretty harsh Abu wear won’t give updates or respond to my ticket, obviously I’m not the only one. Im Irish but don’t live in Ireland, so I don’t have much recourse. I can only hope that one day I’ll actually get my order, I haven’t been able to order that particular scarf design from Hirbawi yet. Please send my order when you can Abu Wear. I want to believe in this business but I don’t think they’re handling it right.

They take your money, never respond, gaslight customers on their instagram page and they still accept preorders on their website.
I purchased 2 Kufiyas in February 2024. Never arrived. I am willing to wait another 5years, but there is no excuse for ignoring all emails or not giving updates. Even a general one on instagram every 3months with the last order number that was fulfilled so people have an idea on how long they will have to wait. Costs zero effort.
Ordered directly from Hirbawi and got my kufiya.

They are a bunch of thieves . Bought and paid for 2 kafiyas in Nov 2023. Still waiting. I think they are scammers. Is there any way we can report them to some authority. I don’t want a refund I want my Kafiya. Order #2711 confirmed. You guys gonna get your hands separated from your arms.

Scammers. I ordered in January 2024 they didn’t send anything, didn’t refund and aren’t even replying their emails. They’re using the genocide in Gaza as a way to scam people, disgusting.

Ordered 3 kufiyas on january 2024 and payed €100. I still haven’t received my order or my money. They also don’t respond through email and closed their insta comments. They are absolute scammers. Don’t order from this place!!!

If I could I would give no star to this company. I ordered 3 Khufiya in January 2023 and there has been no response from the supplier.
