Penalised and threatened with fees for a correction their own agent made
I took out a policy and responsibly checked my documents, noticing a minor driving licence date error carried over from a comparison site. I contacted their webchat team to proactively fix it. The agent, George, told me I could "leave it as is" but processed the update anyway, which actually lowered my premium. A couple of days later, their automated system flagged this exact correction as a discrepancy. I was sent a threatening letter demanding DVLA proof by a set deadline, or they would hike my premium by £33.37 and charge a £25 admin fee. To make matters worse, the email went straight to my spam folder because it came from a generic address with a password-protected attachment, and the word "Zenith" did not appear anywhere in it.When I called customer service to explain that their own agent had made the change, the phone representative completely contradicted the written webchat advice. He told me the system would have caught it and charged me the £25 fee regardless. When I expressed my frustration at this completely disjointed process, he provocatively told me that while I have the right to leave, I would be hit with cancellation fees.The absolute peak of this terrible service was when I said, "God forbid I have a claim, I would have to come speak to you guys again." The agent flippantly replied, "No don't worry, the claims team is separate."The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They have a broken automated system that punishes you for the actions of their own staff, coupled with dismissive and arrogant phone agents. I am currently awaiting a response to a formal complaint. Avoid this company at all costs.

I declared point for speeding when I had quotes, Zenith then said after their own checks that they found points and had to raise the price. The worst insurance company I had had the misfortune of having used.

Looking for value for money car…
Looking for value for money car insurance and found Zenith to be far ahead of other brands, the journey in dealing with this company could not be better, excellent website that’s easy to navigate, get feedback and contact to ensure they are providing the correct cover. Cannot recommend this company enough and have been better than I expected try them with confidence.
