Helpful service over the phone

The lady Jane helped me over the phone and searched the best fare for my situation. She was quite patient in helping me over the phone for changing contract as I am not knowledgeable in all this technology.

My experience with this phone company…

My experience with this phone company has been very disappointing. I relied on their advice when upgrading my phone, as the device was recommended to me by their staff. However, I was not informed that the camera features were actually worse than those on my previous phone.

After using the device, it quickly became clear that the camera quality did not meet my needs and was a downgrade from what I already had. When I raised this concern with the company, I felt the issue was not properly acknowledged or resolved.

As the matter remained unresolved, I had no option but to escalate my complaint to the Ombudsman. The entire experience has been frustrating, as I trusted the company’s recommendation and expected clear and accurate advice before making the upgrade.

The quality of the camera is awful and a picture I had to send to my doctors because I had an allergic reaction was appalling and they couldn’t tell what it was because of this

Following a full and independent review by the Communications Ombudsman, it was confirmed that your contract was not mis-sold. This decision was upheld following your request for further review. During the sales call, no requirement for specific camera features, including a wide-angle lens, was discussed, and the device recommended was in line with the needs outlined at that time.

We do appreciate that you have since advised of additional requirements. In response, we have offered to replace your handset with an alternative device that meets these updated needs. This remains a fair and reasonable resolution, and the offer is still available should you wish to proceed.

We are unable to support cancellation of the contract on this basis. However, we are happy to arrange the replacement device should you decide to accept this.
