You need better and honest customer service
I ordered an expensive Leupold scope lens cover. I liked the unit, operated as intended, first time everytime.
Ordered a second one, the unit is not operating the same. Doesn't open and close in the same motion, gets jammed. You need to basically realign the switch mechanism for it to shut, which takes it from a one step process to two step process. Disappointed in the assistance provided from xhunter, tried to talk me out of returning the item from the get go and the distributor for Leupold products NIOA who said operating as intended, but provided no evidence of how it was tested. It operates differently on a scope than it does in the hand. Buyers beware, xhunter does not like you to return faulty products, they don't have a phone number you can call. Its all on whatsapp and they take hours to days to respond. Very frustrating as a buyer from spends a lot of money on quality products, I won't be buying from them again.

To clarify the situation based on the evidence provided in the link:
1. The Product Feature: After you sent us a video of the "fault", we immediately forwarded it to NIOA, the official Australian distributor for Leupold. Their Senior Customer Service Consultant confirmed in writing that the cover is operating exactly as intended and that there is no return spring fitted to this specific lever by design. We simply relayed this technical information to you.
2. The Return Process: We never tried to talk you out of returning the item. We simply followed Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We advised you that the item needs to be physically inspected by the manufacturer to declare a "major fault" before a replacement or refund can be issued. We then generated a return-paid shipping label entirely at our cost so you could send it back for this exact official inspection.
3. Response Times: You initially emailed us on Saturday, Jan 24th, leading into the Australia Day long weekend. We replied immediately upon our return on Tuesday, Jan 27th, after consulting with the distributor. Since then, we have responded to your emails promptly, as shown in the chat logs.
We understand it is frustrating when a new product feels different from an older one you own, but we must rely on the manufacturer's technical specifications.

INITIAL ADVICE NEEDED
THE ITEM WAS A REAR RIFLE REST. THE BOTTOM SHOULD HAVE BEEN FLAT FOR BENCH REST, IT WAS CURVED AND PACKED SO TIGHT THE BOTTOM COULD NOT BE FLATTENED. AS A SUPPORT IT WOULD ROCK AND ROLL. NO STABILITY WHICH IS ESSENTIAL.
THE REPLY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND ENABLED ME TO FLATTEN THE PROBLEM BASE.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCLUDED WITH THE ORIGINAL DELIVERY THEN THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO REASON TO COMPLAIN. I AM NOW COMPLETELY SATISFIED.

Thank you for the feedback. Regarding the instability: The Caldwell Deadshot bags are designed to be adjustable. Please try opening the fill-spout/Velcro and removing some of the internal media. This will allow the bag to settle into a completely flat shape and stop the "rock and roll," providing the stable platform you need.

Order Quality Issues and Very Difficult After-Sales Support Experience
I recently placed an order with Xhunter Australia and encountered unexpected issues when the item arrived. The product I received wasn’t in the condition advertised, and although it was still usable, it had clear defects that shouldn’t have been present in a new purchase.
I contacted the business straight away with photos and a detailed explanation so that we could sort out a simple remedy. Unfortunately, getting clarity on how the issue would be handled became surprisingly difficult. Communication was slow, inconsistent, and often shifted the focus to policies rather than addressing the actual problem or offering a practical solution.
At one stage I was asked to return the item without any confirmation of what remedy would follow. Given the uncertainty and the lack of firm guidance, I felt uncomfortable sending the product back without knowing whether I would receive a replacement, repair, or refund.
After several attempts to resolve the matter directly and in good faith, I had no choice but to escalate the situation through external channels to have it reviewed properly. That process is now underway.
For transparency, I want to make it clear that this review relates solely to one individual purchase. I’m not posting on behalf of anyone else and I’m using only my own account. My intention is simply to share my experience so that other customers can make informed decisions, particularly if ordering higher-value items where good after-sales support is important.
I genuinely hope Xhunter improves its approach to resolving product issues, because these situations can be handled quickly and fairly when communication is clear and customer concerns are taken seriously.

I have purchased a few times now from XHunter. Have never experienced a problem navigating the XHunter website- a tracking number is quick in being issued & delivery times very prompt as they can be - (Aust Post are a pack of useless flogs) - no fault of XHunter. Importantly the packaging of all items I’ve purchased has been impeccable bordering overkill but everything arrives in 1st class condition with zero damage despite Aust Posts efforts to destroy every package they handle. (Yes a pack of flogs!) - well done XHunter - one of the more reputable suppliers of firearms products out there!
