Wickes - Burton Recensioni 

The young lady who did my delivery order was an asset to the company. Just the right side of cheeky. Even when I left the store n realised there had been a miscommunication n we had to re booked the order remained calm n friendly n was sorted out quickly. Burton store keep hold of this member of staff. You have a 12/10 worker here if only all front of house staff could be this good 😁😁😁

Everything was running well until cashier was pushing me to add 50p to my bill as donation. Cashier was young lad working extremely slow, like going to die in seconds.

Susan Bower-Khan has guided me through the design of both my new bathroom and kitchen with the patience of a saint.
She listened carefully to my requirements, and then working within my budget came up with some brilliant designs which I can't wait to have fully fitted in my home.
She didn't overwhelm me with decisions, and guided me through the whole process with care and professionalism. I felt me and my budget were in very capable hands, and never felt pressured into making decisions that I wasn't comfortable with.
I was slightly apprehensive at the start of the process, but within 5 minutes Susan's friendly and sunny disposition meant I felt very comfortable going through the process and making decisions with her by my side.
I can't wait to show her my bathroom and kitchen in a few months time when they are both fully completed.

Today (at 18:50, ten minutes before store closing) I visited your Burton on Trent branch to buy wooden logs I needed to finish a project. Unfortunately, the garden section door had already been closed.
I politely asked a member of staff if I could quickly take 7 logs, which were literally just behind the closed garden door. It would have taken me no more than 60 seconds to put them on a trolley. Despite there still being 10 minutes before closing time, I was told it was impossible as they were “closing soon.”
I had travelled from Derby specifically to make this purchase, yet had to return home empty-handed because of this unhelpful response. I find it disappointing that customers are refused service before official closing time, especially when the request was simple and reasonable.
This experience left me very dissatisfied and reconsidering whether to shop at Wicks in the future.

We came in to look for a Wicks paint that we had 12 months ago , we needed it for a wooden door , could not see the colour for the door , so went to go out , then Beth came up to us , she explained that she could mix the colour we needed, Beth was so,so helpful we went away with what we wanted, highly recommend wicks , Beth is a great representative for the company, many thanks Mick and Jenny Carolan

Just received my delivery that I purchased yesterday all of mats are here even tho I made a couple mistakes that BIG man Callum helped fix and as well as answer most my stupid questions now we ready for work , big up Rachel for being the sweet heart she is and processing a 600£ order in minutes , next day delivery ,great staff good mats and options, can’t ask for more 🌹🌹👍🏼

Visited the Burton store and Simon on the till was fantastic. He dealt with 5/6 absolutely awful customers in front of me with the up most professionalism.

They were rude, dismissive or down right aggressive to him and he did not bat an eye lid. He delivered fantastic customer service with a smile and did not let it phase him.

I hope he knows one customer appreciates him, because people like him make the world a better place and should be cherished by who they work for.

Went into the store for a decorating gadget which they didn't stock and was pointed to another option by the lovely smiling Rachel which works a treat.

I needed help and advice buying an internal door with the accompanying door furniture and had this fantastic young lady Jo (Joanne) who gave me her undivided attention. She is an asset to your team.

I was having trouble getting an order delivered out of the Burton dept. It took a week and several delivery dates which on 1 occasion the drive tried saying that he knocked an rang the bell even though my cctv said otherwise. I will add that this was not down to wicks. During this time I was dealing with Joanne cox who went out of her way even giving me several call backs to either give info or up dates,thanks jo.
She eventually got a bespoke delivery for me and also check the condition of the material for delivery, since it had been loaded and un loaded several times.
To me this showed excellent care towards her customer

Rob C was particularly helpful when I was looking for several items. He came up with relevant alternatives when I couldn’t find what I wanted. I couldn’t recommend him or the store more highly!!

I placed an order online for collection from Wickes in Burton. Tyler from the branch gave me a call and let me know I had the last 2 of one of the items I'd ordered and he was worried about the quality of them. He gave me the option of cancelling the order or checking the item over when I collected the other items. Great service. Better than finding out there's a problem when you get there. I had measured up to make sure I could make the decision at the store.

Joel H and Gemma were amazing! Extremely helpful in every aspect of my purchases! Went above and beyond
with customer service. Joel even helped me get them in the back of my truck.

My wife and I have been having problems for days trying to get some suitable colour paint and Joel H and his brothers soon sorted us out .We left feeling happy and grateful for their courtesy respect and help well done lads

Went into Burton on Trent branch today for a bathroom quote ,felt a little apprehensive because of an earlier quote from a different company but Susan Bower-Khan made us feel at ease explaining everything about the process from start to finish ,pointing out all of the details,she’s very friendly and her product knowledge is outstanding and very professional , we now can’t wait to have our lovely new bathroom installed , thankyou Susan you’re a credit to your company ,the Tudor family

The ladies at Wickes in Burton were very helpful and approachable when we were asking for equipment for our animal home. They explained the process and we were able to get a new storage cupboard to keep items safe.

In the showroom Su was amazing, extremely helpful and made the whole process so easy.

A big thank you to Susan and the team for a fast, trouble free kitchen design and installation. Susan designed and helped me select kitchen colours etc. happy to spend the time sorting through it with me.
Sam and his team who fitted it were thorough and did a great job. I just went to work and left them to it. The area was always left clean and tidy when I got home. Can't fault Wickes from design to completion.
