Walked into the Darlington store with a niggle from a run the night before and hopped on the treadmill for a minute. Examined my gait and tried on 4 different shoes to remedy this and walked away with the perfect fit... all in 10 mins and the running advisor was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience.

Excellent, always helpful. Not the widest range but they will sort for you.

Marine was attentive, positive and gave good advice when asked. A definite asset to the shop.

I went to the Nottingham branch of Up & Running this morning. I had a brain haemorrhage and a speech and language disability (aphasia) and I’m very disabled now. Sally Ann who served me was very helpful. I tried two different pairs and I walked around the shop to see if they were ok for me and one pair was. I would highly recommend the shop for a fantastic service.

Reading Store - Nick is amazing!

I wanted some help choosing some trainers for running, Nick performed a Gait analysis and went through what he believes would be best for me, not just which trainers I need but also what exercises I could do to improve my running and not put too much stress on my knees. He’s a credit to your company. 10/10 customer service

Great company to buy from, easy to order and kept informed about delivery. Really please with my GTX Brooks Ghost trainers, which I ordered half a size bigger than usual. I’m using them as a waterproof walking shoe and they are so comfortable!

Maire in the Milton Keynes store was so helpful and friendly. She was assisting two people at the same time and could not have been more attentive.

Visited the Reading branch and was assisted by Nick. He was amazing with us and dealt with multiple queries and advised us amazingly. Such an asset to the company and would highly recommend!

It was my first time in the shop getting a Gait assessment before buying a pair of running shoes. Marine was the colleague in the Milton Keynes shop and was brilliant. I was honestly a little worried about going into the store to have my gait analysis done. I’m on the heavier side and only started running in May, so I had convinced myself I might get laughed out of the shop! 😬

However, with some trepidation, I walked into the Basingstoke store and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by Paul.

From the moment I arrived, Paul was friendly, approachable and incredibly knowledgeable. He couldn’t have been more accommodating and immediately put me at ease. The gait analysis was fascinating — he explained exactly how I run, how my foot lands and what that means when choosing the right running shoes. I found the whole experience really interesting and, most importantly, I felt completely comfortable.

I would have happily purchased a pair there and then, but unfortunately the colour I wanted wasn’t quite right for moving into the winter months! 😂

Paul, I genuinely can’t thank you enough for being so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. You made me feel comfortable in an environment where I don’t always feel completely at ease, and that really means a lot.

We had a fantastic experience at up and running Sheffield very helpful with the gait test and helped us chose better trainers that suit us.

I went to Up and running because my physiotherapist recommended I get a gait analysis and invest in some better footwear to help me with my sciatica.
It felt a bit odd heading to a running shop for this, but I'm very glad it was Sallyann served me, because she had suffered with sciatica before and understood and helped me through the process, with excellent advise and no pressure. I tried on many pairs and when it was between two weeks got back on the treadmill which helped me settle on the right pair for me.
Very pleased.
