I went to Up and running because my physiotherapist recommended I get a gait analysis and invest in some better footwear to help me with my sciatica.
It felt a bit odd heading to a running shop for this, but I'm very glad it was Sallyann served me, because she had suffered with sciatica before and understood and helped me through the process, with excellent advise and no pressure. I tried on many pairs and when it was between two weeks got back on the treadmill which helped me settle on the right pair for me.
Very pleased.

Bristol Up and Running
Came in on Saturday to exchange a pair of new shoes as I couldn’t get on with them. Yvette was great! Patient as I tried on all the size 10 shoes until I found a pair for my specially wide square feet haha. Thanks for all the help :)

All good here. Bought Adizero Boston 13's for my wife, which she found too small at her regular sizing. Ordered 1/2 size up (seems to be needed with Adizero shoes), and they arrived in quickly. This company currently uses Tracked 24 service so shoes arrived here fast via Royal Mail. I returned the smaller sized ones and received a timely refund. Thank you.

Relatively new into running so I appreciated the objective advice from Sue who I saw today. Used the running machine and video’d to see my style of running to determine appropriate shoes to go for. Was advised on socks too. Really professional and knowledgeable person. Thank you and great job. See you again in 500 miles. 👍

I found the staff in this store incredibly helpful, friendly and patient. What sets them apart from other retailers is the ability to try on the full range. I tried on 5 different brands and knew instantly which was the best fit. I was surprised that they were a completely different brand to what I’d loved wearing for years! It’s helpful to have the use of the treadmill too. Definitely recommend a visit to this store.

First time visiting up and running today.
I had two young children in tow. I was greeted by amazing staff, Sallyanne was great in helping me find the perfect trainers and also entertaining the kids.

Went to Horsham store. Helped by very knowledgeable and reassuring assistant. Gait analysis with new shoes checked.
Always reassuring to have experienced and knowledgeable staff.

Visited the Reading store. My son and I both had Gait analysis done - good insights and excellent, impartial advice on which shoes to go for. Would recommend to runners of all abilities.

Marta in the Milton Keynes stores was brilliant from the moment I went in. The first pair of neutral shoes ended up being the ones I came home with, but Marta selected several pairs for me to try and let me mix and match to make sure I was taking away the right pair. Marta talked me through my analysis and gave me advice on how to to keep my toes pointed forwards instead of outwards.

Went to the Nottingham shop today as someone who hasn't ran in 15 years and was very unsure what I wanted or needed. Was looked after by Sallyann and I have to say even though the shop was busy I felt like the I was the only one there. The level of detail, support and customer service was exceptional. We tried multiple shoes on and was allowed to use the running machine with analysis from Sallyann. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about buying running shoes. Been able to try before you buy is always better than buying online in my opinion.
