Was contacted by these chancers…

Was contacted by these chancers yesterday for an debt that they reckon I have. They gave me an address on the south coast where they reckon I owe money for water. What a bunch of jokers. I have never lived on the south coast in my life and reckon I lived there since 2017 until present. It beggars belief how they think they can randomly contact people for money with no proof of ever living win these addresses. See you in court mofo's

Based on the 400+ negative reviews

Based on the 400+ negative reviews, of which I've read many of, I decided to contact Southern Water direct to set-up a minimal repayment plan, so fcuk UK Search Ltd. I mentioned to Southern Water, WHO made the decision to appoint UKSL as their debt collectors, to which no response was forthcoming, not that I expected one. My suggestion, based on my own experience is to contact the company you owe to, and liaise with them direct, and prevent UKSL from earning a commission. I thank all of you who have shared your negative experiences online, its helped me tremendously in my decision making. God Save the King!

So fed up with these people

Honestly, so fed up with these guys. Been paying for my course installmentally for a long time now and it seems never ending. The last time I spoke to them, they said my final installmental payment will be in April 2025. And now, after making my recent payment, I asked again when my final payment will be just for more clarification and now, they are saying May 2025. My mistake earlier was I would have asked for a confirmation email the last conversation with them. But I'm glad I asked for it now just incase they change it again from May 2025 to December 2026 or probably till infinity. It seems they want every opportunity to extort money from people. Just as they almost extorted 100 pounds from me just because I mistakenly omitted 34 pence from my payment.

Demanding money for Southern water bill…

Demanding money for Southern water bill that I did not live at the time. Wanting council tax bill or tenancy agreement. I was never on the tenancy so can't provide this. Have sent screenshots of council tax account confirming this, buy they won't except. Rude staff

So unprofessional you can't even record your carousel phone options without horrendous background waffling from agents likely harassing poor people.
All tucked up in bed and got my horror novel ready to read chapter 3, then thought wait I bet I know some even more scary and entertaining to read this evening! Yes all these reviews! What a horror show,scammers, bullying,no clue on procedures. Won't bother explaining as to why etc, Stop BULLYING PEOPLE! , LISTEN TO PEOPLE EXPLAINING SITUATION TO YOU.

Our Directors have over 100 years' experience in this sector and are all debt collection practitioners. = you should all be ashamed of your bullying behaviour and I'm sure your parents would be super proud of the way you torment people that YOU think are not worthy?! You won't get half a penny from me !
This lot also dont forward any correspondence from the company you owe money too and never know if you could actually get discounts/benefits for certain reasons.
Reporting this company to the Ombudsman on 1st April. And not an April fool either.

Harrassment, intimidation, illegal contact

Harrassing myself, a vulnerable adult about an 8 year old debt that is Statute barred, Financial ombudsmen contacted, and told them to take me on in court. causing unmittigated stress about a property I personally have not lived in since 2018 which is illegal under the limitations act 1980

Chancers Looking To Scare & Scam People

Nasty business. Nasty bullying little debt collection agency. The staff cannot even write a literate e-mail. It's like being threatened by an uneducated school leaver who failed their English exam. Myself, along with many others, are all being chased for an outstanding Eon Next bill. What on earth is Eon Next? I've never had an account with them. And this scabby little UK Search Limited outfit will try and get you to pass over all sorts of private information about yourself, your home, your council tax bill, your mortgage, a lease or rental, landlord, etc, absolutely anything so they can build a profile on you and gather data. Don't get scared and blabber out all of your information. If you have NOT had a contract with Eon Next or anyone else this nasty little debt collection firm are claiming you owe money to, GIVE THEM NOTHING. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING! They have nothing on you. No evidence. However, if you DO owe a company money, then own up to it and deal with it. But judging by all these negative reviews on Trustpilot, it's clear UK Search Limited are willing to make people's lives a misery due to someone else's error or debt. And I shall be phoning Eon Next and request they look at who they had a contract with at my address, as it was most certainly not me!

Wouldn’t even be 1 star

Like others many others it’s the same they are demanding £1,500 from me from a property i have NEVER lived or been accountable for only my farther who has now passed so thanks for bringing that memory back to me guys! I’ve Called 2nd time gave them the ref on the letter to ask them to stop sending and I have never been accountable for they insisted on getting my name advised the name on that ref and he just needed to add the note as each person need to report this “company” to the FCA
And don’t bother replying like you have done to others

If they text your daughter a child dont expect a sorry!

As a dad, if you are sat with your 12 year old and a text comes through from 07860 092943 / 01246 808536
asking you to call them ASAP. Alarm bells ring.

So called and spoke to a operator who wouldnt even tell me who they was or who they was calling from, and was so unhelpfull, asked 4 times to be put through to someone more senior, kept being told not possible, I said put me on hold and Ill wait, 30 seconds later a person said they was a senior advisor (now starting to think was this true) , AS this person was even less helpfull.

I kept saying who are you eventually they said UK SEARCH LIMITED, i kept saying my daughter dosent wanna buy stuff and I thought it was illegal, to cold call a child.

All they kept saying is "We cant tell you who we trying to get hold off" - I said I dont wanna know the name I just dont want my daughter to get calls anymore,

And kept asking why the person wouldnt tell me who they was, she kept saying He said that at the beigining of the call, I kept saying I didnt hear that (there was so much background noise) when the operator answered, so all he had to do was say "I am adam from UKSL or something"

Instead 12 minutes of my time was wasted dealing with two poorly trained people.

Kept being rude and pratronising.

Found this out from a review...

After Looking aparently its not a sales company it is a UKSL .

No wonder they was rude, because i guess dealing with debt people maybe they get a lot of abuse, so when someone like me calls as a genuine person with a concern, THEY Dont know how to deal with it.

And the so called senior advisor was even more rude... Training required!

Edit - the reply to my rating is another insult. SIM card! I have a e-sim that is up to date and been with the same network for 11 years and my daughter has a shared family sim!

Don’t u dare try to say it’s something to do with us! The person who wrote the reply needs to learn how to deal with people politely :)

Absolute scam looking for money on a bill that doesn't exist your ref 4768760 customer service agent Bradley doesn't know how to listen
The letter clearly states that if there is a legitimate reason for non-payment they will fully investigate??? Ha ha that's after various threatening paragraphs before scam scam scam

SCAMMERS

They sent a letter saying I owed Eon some money for an outstanding bill at an address I no longer live at. I was not responsible for paying the bills nor did I have an account with Eon, however they demanded I pay for this bill. Absolutely disgusting company.

Appalling people to deal with

Appalling people to deal with, so rude. Don’t believe in their customer care rubbish as they have absolutely no customer care. I have cooperated with them every step of the way with correspondence to prove it but this month I actually paid my monthly payment 4 days EARLIER than the due date because I wanted to make sure it cleared and got a threatening letter that I didn’t pay on the correct day, that I paid too early!! Can you believe it! Who has ever heard that you are penalised for paying a few days too early!!!

Just a bunch of scammers

Just a bunch of scammers got a post from these guys regarding water bill due £530. Point number one 1.I was not the landlord. I moved out of that address 3 years ago i don't even have account with affinity water. These guys just randomly pick the post from that address and try to threaten you through post and call. Just a breach of data. Going to report them to FCA and Police.

CHANCERS!!

Received a debt letter demanding a payment of £938 on behalf of EON NEXT for a property I rented briefly in 2020. I called EON and they have no arrears for this address AT ALL, nor have they ever instructed this company, nor have they EVER passed on my current address as this is a breach of data.

DO NOT engage with these people, they are spammers!! ALWAYS check with the supply company first.

They sent a letter demanding payment…

They sent a letter demanding payment for a utility bill at an address we no longer live at. The dates given to us were for after we sold the house. I rang the company and was answered by a very unpleasant woman who insisted on taking personal information from me, which I refused to give. Her reply was that they would continue to hound me for this payment even though I told her it was nothing to do with me and that they should contact the current owners.

JUST WANT A WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS

Writing this review out of desperation. I need someone from this company to give me a useable email address!! I have tried every single email address provided online and on the paper letters AND on the email received from them. nothing works they all bounce back. I am getting threats to go to court BUT they are impossible to get hold of for me to sort the problem out!

Bullies and scammers

Bullies and scammers rude staff .my standing order didn’t go through and I had to pay manually.i have never missed a payment .calling me today to say they have included 150 pounds to my balance after paying manually they are thief .there staff is nothing to write home about .i don’t blame them I regret doing course with learn direct .i will never encourage anybody to do any course with learn direct

Take action, don't let bullies win!

Chased for a water bill, never my debt. Outside of the 6 year right to chase. So I sent a cease and desist and gave 21 days to provide evidence debt was mine. No evidence provided. Still chasing me so I'm taking legal action for harassment as of today. Know your rights and tell these people to jog on. And in response to the companies reply below, I have zero desire to contact you outside court and as per my email and formal complaint, you are outside of 6 years, and the 21 days notice given to provide evidence and as such I am taking legal action against you for harassment of which your reply here will be included in my evidence pack.
