Worth appealing through Theias. Looking at all the negative reviews, there are many appeals that get rejected, however if you have a strong justification with proof then you have a good chance to have the PCN cancelled just like it was cancelled for me. Not as bad as everyone shouts about and I feel that there is some human compassion on the other side that will see some reasoning! Really grateful to theias.

Terrible company. I submitted my appeal back on 17 December. I reviewed my account regularly and it was set to 'pending'

Then I received an email to say my appeal had expired because I hadn't submitted evidence.

There was NOWHERE to submit my evidence too.

Don't waste your time or £15 on this

They are pure lying scum.

You are unable to log on to their website which they have clearly made impossible.
I have a receipt on my phone and a bank statement confirming the payment which they claim that I have not made, but being the pure lying scum that they are, I am unable to provide this evidence to them.
Everyone should boycott any parking facility which they are responsible for.
Hopefully this will help the lying morons be less appalling in future.

Ive tried to register a number of times to make an appeal after I was given two parking fines from park direct. It just doesn't allow you to register so fake. Take them down awful company and awful people that come up with these nonsense. website is awful to use. says on there to email them but when you do they say to register, and when you do that don't work nether. so ive been going round in circles for days now!!!!

I paid for the car park for 1 hour and I only stayed 42 minutes. My only problem was I forgot to pay straight away on arrival, only 5 minutes gone past and I remembered I haven’t paid for the parking. So I quickly run back and paid . 2 weeks later I got letter from the post for Parking Charge of £60 .
Now what is upsetting me the most is the £1 I paid for parking, because it didn’t made any difference.

Agree with many. Total waste of time appealing. The IAS is not independent and do not act fairly.

The Government should look into these private parking operators and the IAS. It would be better if they were made to operate with a park and display or barrier in and out. But they won't do that because they wouldn't make any money.

Also the businesses who used the parking as "customer parking" should stand up for their customers.

These guys are in bed with the car park operators which is why you'll notice 99% appeals get rejected by them

Theias is not independent. Theias is corrupt as its cowboys that pay and subsidise it. Theias protects those cowboys to steal our money.

Not independent! as mentioned by others.
Send countless evidence and got generic response.
First impression was “this website/name look a bit dodge” turns out to be dodgy!!

Waste of time, corrupt, scammers, they are not independent appeals service at all, didn't even look at the mountain of evidence I sent them, they didn't even notice the parking company was being dishonest claiming there was signs when in the photos the company sent you can clearly see there wasn't, they only check the parking company followed certain protocols, robotic response, absolutely useless, I'd have better luck in court at least they are actually non bias.

A company as corrupt as the parking enforcement companies they represent. I recently learned the parking companies registered with the IAS pay a membership fee so it’s no surprise they side with them 4/5 of the time.
They acknowledged the signs were not clear but also stated because I couldn’t provide proof that the parking company had sent the letters to the wrong property I was eligible for pay the full charge of £160 as I had failed to pay straight away. The parking company however had refused to send the paperwork to my new address so unsure how I was meant to send copies. Also the parking company sent a site survey that was almost 3 years old, this was accepted by the IAS as still be accurate despite my photographic evidence showing these signs were no longer there. Apparently my photos didn’t photograph all aspects of the car park despite being multiple wide shots and then close ups.
A terrible “independent” service. Take it to court if you can

Pointless organization. Although they could see I had been scammed and had sympathy they did nothing about it. They didn't even read the case file properly the first time around. My question to senior stakeholders is what is the purpose of your organization and what to you achieve?

Terrible people, play only at the side of the companies! This type of company should be finished !!!!

I tried four times to input my details and followed all advice. The process seems designed to deter people from using it. Another aspect of the so called "Independent Parking Community"

I will try POPLA instead once I get the appropriate information from the "Parking Enforcement Agency"

First point ,their link for contacting them does not work properly and it’s very difficult to sign in .
This is not a fair appeals process it is just a letter of the law process which did not take into account the actual reason for a parking charge being issued .
These companies have to be stopped .

I have been changed £100 for stopping about 3 minutes of drop off, as well as I have the business insurance.

Thank goodness the law is changing from next year providing a period of grace to stop cowboy private parking operators backed up by the useless IAS ripping off drivers. I exited the car park 4 minutes after the ticket expiry time due to a vehicle recovery service blocking the way out but my appeal was dismissed. Who knows what they consider a reasonable time to park and exit. God forbid that you have to queue for a ticket the ticket expiry time seemingly means zilch! Apparently the IAS cannot consider extenuating circumstances and the operator was unwilling to. What an absolute shower, both the operators and the IAS. Are they really lawyers/ barristers?

Website does not work - Phone Number cuts you off !

Scam!!! The parking app wasn’t working and I was able to submit proof from a screen recording but as everyone has stated here, they are not interested in being fair, a pure money grabbing scam.
