An absolute disgrace and a complete waste of time. I received a parking fine from Euro Parking Services despite parking in a clearly allocated space. The only so-called instruction was a tiny, easily overlooked sign demanding vehicle registration at a kiosk—yet there were no directions, no visibility, and no kiosk to be found, even after thoroughly searching the entire site. It feels like an intentional trap designed to generate revenue rather than manage parking fairly. I had hoped the IAS would deliver justice, but the process seems heavily biased in favour of these private operators. It’s hard not to conclude that the system is rigged to protect profiteering companies at the expense of unsuspecting drivers.

What a complete waste of time, unable to contact the IAS by phone or even get registered on their site to lodge an appeal.
This company needs to be investigated.
The company that issued the PCN told me they could access IAS website without any problem. Of course they can if they are in cahoots together.
We are both OAPs with Blue Badges yet they showed no sympathy over a silly mistake when leaving a car park which had confusing signs. We have used this car park many times before and were unaware the system had changed.

Waste of time using this service. After weeks of waiting, they will not consider any facts offered, and will quite simply state that the ticket was issued fairly.
The ticket I received should not have been issued (the land owner already confirmed that with the ticket enforcement company), and it was not issued in a legally enforcable way due to the fact that it took them 33 days to notify me of the issuance of this ticket.
I am actually blown away that the IAS gave this result under the circumstances - they are literally not fit for purpose.

Absolutely blinking useless. I get a ticket for not buying a permit. I'm a blue badge holder thinking I was exempt. I make a mistake. Under the law I'm protected as a vulnerable person. These people rule against me. No I await debt threats and legal action. Btw, my crime was entering the car park for 13 minutes and 34 seconds. Had I known I would've been subject to £1 permit but this operator is demanding £100.

A nameless and faceless organisation that's funded by the parking operators (a fact they don't want you to know). Thankfully, not a single thing they say carries an ounce of legal standing.

The parking operators use the service in attempt to con you into thinking that there is nowhere else to turn. The IAS is nothing but a fraudulent operation and they really should be investigated by the authorities.

Independent appeal service is there to protect the companies that issue PCN. I was fined for parking at a parent and child bay with my baby simply for not displaying the talon which I need to obtain from the club. They don’t consider the circumstances under the PCN happened. Completely senseless. Will never ever use its services again as it is far away from independent.

A place for failed lawyers, I assume

I legally parked my car on the roof of the British Heart Foundation in Cricklewood London to give them a donation as I have done many many times before. The lift to the shop was not working so I walked down the access slope to the shop and found to my surprise that the shop had closed down. I then returned to my car and left the area. I then received a parking ticket because my stay had not been validated by the shop which had gone. I explained all of this to the IAS that I parked in good faith and left as soon as I could but they rejected my appeal even though I could not possibly have known that a shop I have been supporting for years had gone. There is no regard for natural justice at the IAS.org and strongly suggest people do not use them

Had an appeal against Excel which IAS basically did nothing with except side with Excel. Pertinently, their reply said:

"The guidance to this appeal also makes it clear that I am bound by the law of contract and can only consider legal challenges not mistakes or extenuating circumstances."

So, even though our PCN came as a result of Excel's faulty equipment not registering a payment in cash, they upheld that we should pay the PCN. It's just a veneer of an appeal service, set up to protect Excel and the like.

With reference to correspondence received regarding parking charge occurred 6th March 2025.

I wanted to appeal this charge notice as I did make payment for parking. Parking ticket machine used and payment made and taken for 3 hours.

I was attending a hospital appointment with my disabled child who also has learning disabilities and we had to park a distance from the hospital.
My child unfortunately walks slowly and we had to walk to and from the appointment and also had to collect a large quantity of medication which I had to carry back to the vehicle whilst slowly walking with my child.

I paid £3.00 for 3 hours

Therefore your company are penalising me and child. There were no other closer parking spaces.
I do apologise that my child didn't walk to back to the vehicle quick enough
I also apologise my child has a learning disability an therefore encountered the world him differently and takes a little bit longer to follow instructions
So I am assuming as stated in the correspondence that the incorrect parking fee relates to half an hour. So for as little as 20 minutes you expect a payment of £60

One star is way too much for this company. I got a fine for pulling into a parking spot and reversing straight back out. Wanted them to look at this but they refused my appeal and agreed with the scamming parking company. After looking at reviews I should not have wasted my time as a lot of other people said the same about this company. They are all in it together, so don't even bother using them!!!!

Slow response time. Poor communication and a boiler plate response. No consideration of the specifics of the case presented. Feels like a set up to service the interest of the parking companies. Needs proper regulation.

Do not waste your time!

I provided a mountain of evidence against a parking company. Damaged signs, incorrect signs on entrance to the car park, damaged markings etc etc and it was rejected.

This company is a joke run by the same jokers who run the carparks.

Don’t waste time appealing to these fools. They don’t even look at your appeal.

What a waste of time using this company. They answered to quick to even have looked at my appeal. Another company that should be ashamed of themselves. Makes you wonder if they are all working together. DO NOT USE THEM.

I should have just ignored the fine and waited to see if the parking company took me to court where at least you speak to a human and can put your case forward.

The IAS response to the appeal demonstrated they had not even read responses provided and in some part of the response they were completely contradictory and incorrect. Must be easy money for the adjudicators, because they clearly didn’t read through the case and there can be no further response. That’s why it’s easy to favour with the those that are paying them - the parking companies!!

There is NOTHING independent about the IAS!

The IAS also trade as IPC who set the standards that must be met by the parking management companies, the standards were not met by the parking company that issued the fine, despite highlighting this it has been completely ignored on the appeal response.

The parking company don’t abide by the standards for BPA or IPC (who are also the same company as the IAS!) and the behaviours displayed by those employed is quite frankly shocking, a very dubious and unprofessional company, along with those of The IAS.

So my wife on the way back to the car stopped to help an elderly lady that had fallen which took her passed her time on the meter by a few minutes .. when the original parking fine letter was sent through the post which took two weeks to get to us ( just before Christmas) I sent a letter for my appeal which was rejected ( DONT STOP TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED ,EVEN IF THERE OLD AND LYING ON THE FLOOR ) trying to appeal on line just would not work
It would not except any password even there own which I tried this service on and off over a couple of days, the operator 3 times I rang and they said use the online service ….which I was having problems with but it would not work!
I’m not the only one!
In the end I have paid it with the additional charge and funny enough that service worked fine.
Basically if your late for parking fair enough but trying to do a good deed and getting punished very sad.
Let’s hope the big boss doesn’t pass out on the floor and needs help😕

Complete waste of time appealing the charge even though I had valid evidence of this being a genuine mistake, in my opinion they are not an independent company that work fairly and it seems they reject all appeals and side with the parking companies, who are all making millions out of parking charges.

Total waste of time appealing. The IAS is not independent and do not act fairly. They work for the parking company only.
The Government should look into these private parking operators and the IAS. It would be better if the parking company were made to operate with a park and display system.
