Worst online purchase experience!
Placed two separate orders online. Both orders arrived with incorrect items. It’s now been a month and many phone calls to customer service later I still don’t have my items. Every time I called I would get the same “we’ll sort it out asap and we’ll email you””…. Still waiting for both actions!
Undies fell apart
Bought undies. Washed them, wore them, washed them, they fell apart. Target not interested because it’s a ‘worn’ item. I expect any item of clothing to last more than 2 washes.
A cheap headset
On Thursday 4th May 2017 I purchased a 3SIXT Virtual Reality Headset for $35 from the Chirnside Park Store so I could watch virtual reality content with my old Home and Away Episodes.
Bad Bad Bad
This app is such a joke and app errors have not been fixed for years.. I know because I have called their “customer support” several times to voice these issues and I get half ass help.
Along with the slack team in fixing the issues, these are what I have encountered over the years to date:
Adding items to my cart and then upon checkout, there are no longer available. CS answer “it hasn’t updated on the system and I should use the website instead”. What a joke. I spend time shopping on the app and the availability of items isn’t even accurate. Which is annoying when it’s also the case of doing a click and collect. Not even being able to do delivery also.
Using a gift card or return card. Many times I have used one and it will withdraw the funds without fulfilling my order. CS response “refund without finding where the money is gone so I need to redo my whole order” Not fair when I have a return card to use and can only go in store to use it. However, a new glitch has occurred where it won’t let me select the gift card/ return card option at all! The app tells me payment method cannot be saved!
Stamp or team member discount not applying. I hear all the time in store “use the target app today for a fast and easy shopping experience”. Well absolutely not. When I want to use a stamp discount it will not always work on my cart even though I have gotten what is in the description, or even clicked the page of what options of products are available to use this discount on. As for team discount it will not always accept my number saying it is invalid. Which is not the case as I have used it before many times and it operational in store also.
Perfect link to my next point that I need to sign into the app way too often. If this was so secure and easy. Why can’t my team member discount be saved? But also when I want to view my order history I will need to log in. I am already logged in that’s how I can see all this information… just to see the specifics of the order and when I need to go for collection. Now when this happens. It blocks out my email address bar with a blank space. So when I put in my password it won’t let me log in. As I can’t fill in the email address which is usually saved on there. This then forces me to log out of my account and re log in again. Once more, pathetic.
Finally when I try complete a purchase, there are times an error bar appears telling me the my delivery details are incorrect and they need to be updated. I have found no way around this. They are correct as I have used them before and not changed. I have redone them endlessly and even the same issue happens on the website. CS response “it’s my issue and I should delete the cookies from my browser or try a new one”. What other website has this issue? I have never come across it.
I’m sure there are more issues I have not named. I wouldn’t be surprised.
It 100% puts me of from purchasing. Most times I go without.
Why. Can’t. This. Be. Fixed.

.au TLD email is not supported
I changed my email to a .au email address and placed an order and I didn’t get any emails from Target only from the delivery company. I placed 2 more orders and the same thing no email from target. When I placed an order with different email TLD changed I was sent emails from target. It wasn’t my email because other companies/retailers were able to email.

Piping Hot size 12 Dodgy dress, they don't care, don't listen. Cost $30 and they offered $10 gift card. Too mean to donate the $30 to the Ukraine homeless or earthquake victims
I have over a few years bought about 8 Piping Hot cotton dresses from Target.
Then Target closed and after about a year or so I was in Maroochydore Target and saw Piping Hot dresses.
I bought one in a green but dare not even wear it and Target informed me a few weeks later that they had a size 12 of that dress in a Sky Blue. I paid $30 and they sent it to K Mart.
The dress is a disaster. When I was in Target Maroochydore they had about 3 size 14 in this blue on their racks.. Obviously you had to be a size 18 with very big hips to wear the 14. So the sky blues that were in Target looked Sus.
Anyway Target contacted me to say they had a 12.
This dress is so dodgy.. It would fit a 14 with hips the size of an elephant.
It started out 0K but the fabric just goes straight into stre-t-c--h!!!
I have about 8 of those dresses and this one is DODGY!!!
After telephoning Target I am getting no where. I sent a photo of this dodgy sky blue dress stretched and sitting ontop of another dress to show the problem.
SILENCE.
Then I suggested that Target donate the $30 to the earthquake victims in Turkey or Ukraine people who have lost their homes.
I had also mentioned in my first email that their swim suit was very good. I usually buy Jets or Seafolly.
They obviously do not understand the English language and customers are proberly dealing with an overseas call centre.
They have sent me an email saying they are sending a $10 gift vouchure.
They off loaded a $30 dress that should have been thrown in the bin or re sized to a 14 and then given to a dress maker to run the hips in.. Then it would have been a $30 dress. But they have ripped me off by $30 plus they don't understand about the cossie. So stupid they think it's a complaint.
If the store has any brains they would welcome fashion feed back
. This way they have so sickened me.. I will never shop there again.
Poor service refund
Purchased 2 x side tables online with my PayPal (Linked to a bank account with NO CARD) When they were delivered in poor condition I took them to a local store only to be told I needed both the receipt and the CARD I used to purchase them Provided the receipt from PayPal and the transaction ID Also showed my matching online transaction on my phone from my bank account Still as case of "We need the card" Explained there IS NO CARD for that account The manager finally provided a refund but it took a lot time and "arguments" with other staff who kept telling me "every account has a card" More and more, people no longer have a credit/debit card with their accounts in these days of tap and go with a phone
DO NOT TRUST THE ONLINE CLICK&COLLECT SYSTEM
Placed a Click&Collect order due to an urgent need for a gift as Target online said it would be ready for collection on the same day in 4.5 hours. I contacted online customer service after not receiving any updates on my order only to have them tell me my info or payment method has mismatched information but can't tell me what exactly it is. They then sent me an email instructing me to call a call centre to "verbally confirm my details to release or place a new order". I called the call centre only to repeat the same conversation with an extra piece of information only the IT department can review my "mismatching" information and it takes 24-48 hours. The call centre cannot help me in any way, not even to cancel this order.
First of all, it would've been nice to provide me with the above information at checkout. Second, thanks for leaving me hanging with no updates. I had to reach out to find out why my order still isn't ready after 16 hours past my collection time. There goes my half an hour speaking to your staff that can't help me, and only provided me information that you could've initiated with an email (so what's another 5min on writing you a bad review?).
I would've never placed this order if I wasn't falsely promised a collection time. I would've never placed this order if I had known Target is still too stingy with their budget to build a system that works in customers' and staff's favours.

Tried calling Hobart store at least 6 times, was put on hold, telling me one of our friendly staff will be with me soon, after being on hold for quite some time was then told they were having high call demand and call back later (how many times )

I received conformation that my parcel had been delivered but I never have it.

$200.worth of clothes. Call customer service could not get any help I have had to wait for them to find my goods thrue email, first the courier please,to confirm what went wronge, then to confirm the rearrival of damaged goods at target,1 week later and again I'm still waiting on confirmation
that the target warehouse has hold of the damaged package. Why can't they use the telephone and pin point the location of my goods. If we are suppose to be able to trust this service with our money why the he'll am I getting g this third grade service.

Sent wrong item and never got my actual order
Ordered a Christmas gift online, they split the delivery in two and I received the first one. Received the second a few days later however it was not my order! Contacted customer service by email but took a couple of emails to actually get a reply which wanted photos, which I had already sent. Had to chase up I've a week later and was told they would send my order and keep me updated. No reply in another week so I emailed again, two postal days left before Christmas! The reply was sorry it is out of stock now and a refund will be issued but it will take at least three days to process.
Would not order online with Target again. Extremely annoyed and disappointed.
Pathetic Online Service
Pathetic online service! Placed 2 separate orders online - one item in each order arrived with magnetic tag still attached. Closest target store 6 hour return trip away. Customer support told me I had to return items & they may no longer have them in stock. These were Christmas presents - been told new items won't arrive before Christmas if at all. Only then would they process a refund. To happen once fair enough but to happen on 2 separate orders placed days apart is not good enough. No more target shopping for me!!

Tried to log into online shopping multiple times and it wouldn't work, when I finally did get in, I changed my delivery address. Obviously it didnt work because my goods are now being delivered to my old address.
The website for online shopping is ridiculous, dont do it!
Not happy
I had to ask 3 times to get served at a actual check out, twice they insisted they could put me through a self serve but I demanded a checkout desk. The girl behind the desk was not happy.....WHY!!!?? A job is a job isn't it!?
I won't return to northlakes store again. 😕

I made a click and collect order for…
I made a click and collect order for Sunday 23rd October 2022 to pick up my order from a store. When i arrived in store they told me someone had stolen the item and that i would have received an email with what’s happening to my order. I went home and checked my emails (junk included) and not a word from Target. I then rang the Target online to enquire. They told me they were going to arrange to send the item to the store for me to collect another day. I asked if I could collect the item from the Online store as it had not yet been sent. They told me no. I then asked if i could cancel that order as they couldnt tell me when it would be ready at the store and the whole reason i did a click and collect is because i need the order that day. They told me they are not able to cancel the order. About an hour after making that call I received a notification from Australia Post saying they have an order from Target and is going to be delivered to my PO Box sometime this week! I then rang Target back as i was a little concerned because of the earlier conversation. The lady on the phone assured me as because its a click and collect that it is going to the store and not my PO Box. I told her i have never received an Australia Post notification ever before for a click and collect order! I am now returning to work and am unable to pick up a parcel from either the store or my PO Box due to working til after hours! I still have no idea where my order is or where its going! I was once a proud Target employee and let me tell you i am so disappointed in the level of customer service provided to me through the online centre staff! I didnt want to get a mail order as i needed it ASAP! I would have happily went to another store to collect that day if i knew they had one! I still to this day have not received ANY notification from Target regarding this order, the lack of communication on Targets behalf is honestly appalling.
I would like Target to contact me ASAP via email regarding this order and their online staff. I have never had such a run around with a purchase.
