I was in the south land store i had the best service from a man named Mitch. I was only looking fir a small item. The crome lighting mcqueen. Mitch looked everywhere and even check other stores. He seemed to understand that evernthough it was only a small item it was important to me as it was for my grandson. I just wanted to say thank you to Mitch for trying so hard. I placed an online order and they sent me the wrong items. Their customer support wanted me to return the items first so that they can send my original order. Then when I agreed to post the wrong items, they send me a used Auspost label and the post office refused to take it. I then requested to cancel my order and on the chat they told me a refund will be processed the next day and sent me an email saying the refund could take up to 4 weeks after receiving the item. Pathetic customer service. They sound like I have done the mistake. I have placed another order with a different retailer and I will try my best to avoid target going forward. I have been a long term shopper and they have no empathy at all for their customers.

I purchased 2 bottles of tanning gel which cost almost $50. When they arrived, not only had there been no tape applied to the bottle lids (which as a distribution centre supervisor myself, we INSIST on our pickers/packers doing!) but the lids weren’t even tightened and were very loose. This lead to severe leakage and one of the bottles arrived over half empty. Even after supplying multiple photos of me opening the package, the only option offered was for ME to go out of MY way, repackage the item and mail the half empty bottle to Target (there is no Target store in our town so returning in person was not an option!) Should have purchased from Big W and paid the extra few $$$
Never buy from Again
I ordered a vest for my grand daughter size 1 and recieved a size 10 pair of leopard print leggings. Contact ed Target, they send an email in which i sent pictures,heard nothing for 3 days, contact the again, got an email with a link to a printable label, link did not work. Lodged a claim on line, again email with a link that does not work!! how hard is it to get a refund and send items back!!!Will never purchase on line from target again as 3rd party involved and vest came from catch of the day!!! Not satisfied with customer service and links that do not work!!!! Sent the parcel back and weeks later still no refund!!
Shopper Ignored All My Texts
Been doing same day delivery orders for years regularly. Had a shopper today who completely ignored / skipped all my requests, did not even respond to my texts and I needed something time sensitive. I called CS and they said there was nothing they could do except cancel the order. Shopper is a contractor so they couldn’t even flag the person as a bad shopper.
No solution, no accountability, no way to make it right. They just lost a good customer and they don’t care.
Unable to cancel product due to their error
I tried to order a product for click and collect. The order was accepted and all fine. Within an hour I received an email saying there had been an error and it would be delivered to my home instead within 5 days. I wanted the product before this time so tried to cancel but was told I couldn’t now as it was being delivered to my home!
Do not buy underwear from target will…
Do not buy underwear from target will not refund or exchange. When I asked why they said they have signs saying that. When I told them it only has that you can get a refund or exchange they said that I had to scan the QR code and it would have told me. Here’s a thought maybe the should have that in writing.
Returning a product
Returned an Anko hand mixer today to Target Capalaba...2nd one in a few days as the first speed on the product is not very different to the 6th speed.

It was that loud and fast the customers near me commented on it.
James came back and said it was no different to what they are supposed to sound..
I asked if he was saying this was normal for the beater.. he replied in a manner that was obviously beneath him to reply again..." I said, it's no different to hand beaters I have heard".
I left with a refund and went to KMart to buy same product...
Guess what James.... They work the way it supposed to...
I recently visited Target
I recently visited Target, and it was a letdown. The store was cluttered and disorganized, making it hard to find what I needed. Many shelves were empty, and the items I did find were overpriced for the quality.Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won’t be rushing back anytime soon
Absolutely useless
Ordered online for delivery the sending store messed up my whole order, received 1 correct item out of 12, contacted customer support and what a bunch of useless time that was, they didn’t even bother trying to call the store and correcting my order it was a waste of time. If you contact customer support and get “Chons” good luck with that no customer service whatsoever and did nothing to help at all. After 5 days of contact and communication I finally got a reply if you want to call it that. Don’t bother shopping here they can’t even get a simple order correct and if they some how mess it up, it’s all your fault and they will do nothing to correct their mistake

Terrible n fraudulent online shopping n customer service!! I entered my gift card numbers online yesterday night to purchase a verbatim 128gb microsd card n their website have used all the amt on the 3 gift cards I entered but not put thru my order!! I have not received any confirmation order of it yet the amt has been deducted from my cards!!☹️ Tried to call their customer service but it wasn't available on a sat then went on the online chat which took forever to get on to some1 only to b told that target will automatically save Ur card details n TAKE Ur money without putting thru the order if the page crashes, refreshes or logs out b4 U complete the order!!! To me that is blatant stealing!!!! No online company I know does that or can get away with it except target!!! How can U take some1's money without putting thru the order!!??? Stealing that's what!!!! Now I'm left without funds n told I have to wait 2 business days to c if my own money is returned to me!!! I'm bringing this to consumer affairs n the police!!
Uber driver cancels my Order. !!!!!!!
I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order. I placed an order online and the next day was phoned to say order cannot be delivered to our Post Office Box at Australia Post, any other company but not Australia Post. Where was that Information when I placed my order? I then gave my home address and had to leave security gate unlocked for whenever I would get my delivery, not something I was happy about. So they said they will refund the delivery cost as a good will gesture. Next day received an email saying my order was complete, it had been cancelled. The only refund I got was my postage fee, not my order. So phoned them to see what happened to my order. Was told the UBER driver cancelled my order and didn't pick it up. Now in the hands of the resolution team. It would take 5-10 days for them to respond. I said I wanted to cancel the order and get a full refund. Only the resolution team can do that. I then asked once I told the resolution team I wanted a refund, how long does a refund take? 5-7 Business days. So it could take up to 4 weeks for me to get my money back!!!!!! I can't go out and purchase these items as I don't have the money. NO delivery to Australia Post, Uber Drive gets to cancel my order, can take up to 4 weeks to get money returned to me. Never again!!!!!!!!
DEI Policy
I'm so disappointed with Target's decision to eliminate its DEI policy. I was a faithful and consistent customer especially after K-Mart closed because I was never a fan of Walmart. I just realized I haven't been to a Target in several months so the boycott is easier than I thought it would be. This is not the way to do business.
Don't order online, just go instore for your items
If i could give 0 stars i would - I made an order online for click and collect which was cancelled within an hour due to "no stock" even the when i ordered it was in stock.
So i then have to wait a week now for a refund for something they advertised as in stock but somehow wasn't.
I make a second order for a different item right after for click and collect also, that order is also cancelled even quicker this time due to "no stock" again, which i then check and still says in stock online, i then chatted with someone who said that online stock is separate to in store stock even though i ordered for click and collect.
So i am now awaiting refund for 2 orders that were cancelled because they didn't have stock of something that they are advertising as in stock. They are quick to take your money for something that they "may or may not be in stock", but they will happily take your money and then find out if they have it or not and then tell you to wait 7-14 days for your money back because of their mistake and then act as if it is a normal thing. - later that day the store has the item in store as i went in afterwards even though i was told my order was cancelled because they "didn't have it in stock"

Personal service is gone apparently and so am I. Used to enjoy shopping at Target when there was personalised service. Now I’m not given a choice of having staff help with checkout. I will not be investing my time and money with the Target retail organisation any longer.

I recently placed an order online on 9th January, and the courier was processed on 10th January via a low-rated courier service, "CourierPlease." Unfortunately, the experience has been highly frustrating, and I wanted to share my concerns in detail.
On 10th January, an attempt was made to deliver the parcel with very short notice. As no one was home at the time, the courier was not delivered and was sent back to their depot without any prior notification or follow-up communication. I raised a redelivery request on 12th January, but as of today (17th January), the status remains "Parcel requires further processing."
What has been most frustrating is the inability to effectively reach "CourierPlease." They only offer support through a virtual agent, with no option to speak to or email a human representative unless you have an account with them. This lack of accessible customer service is highly disappointing.
When I reached out to Target’s customer service, I was repeatedly informed that the responsibility lies with "CourierPlease" and that Target cannot take action until the parcel is returned to them. This lack of accountability has left me feeling unsupported and dissatisfied.
I kindly urge Target to review its partnership with courier services and ensure better accountability and communication in the future. Reliable delivery and customer service are key factors in maintaining trust and satisfaction.

Target.com let me return a $150 vacuum then Denied return because we tried vacuum once and didn’t like it. They would not refund and also would not return the vacuum. Bad company. I cancelled my card and will never go there again.

Big Mistake.
Target happily noted my order and took my money. Next thing I know is I get an email saying "Your order cannot be processed." No explanation. Nothing. Is it a problem with contact details? Dunno. Is it payment? Can't be. I'd successfully paid. Target just can't be bothered with the simple courtesy of telling me why.
Contact Target by online chat? No chance. I joined a queue at position 27 and got down to position 2, when the chat session terminated itself. It did that twice.
Sorry Target but that's the last time I even try to do business with you.
Great retailer? You'll have heard of the concept. Try it sometime.
Target online is a joke
Target online is a joke! Order was rejected no reason given, ordered again and money was returned 5 days later without any communication. Not very handy 3 weeks before Christmas organising presents for my grandchildren 1000 km away. On a previous occasion I erroneously ordered click and collect at a wrong store, 2 piece swimsuit, bottom was delivery only top click and collect only , the mind boggles. I rang the store and asked them could they send as it was 500 km away, was told the store can't do anything, out of their hands as it's a different company handling online orders ????
Back to good old Kmart.
