Exceptional service from Jack and Simon for the purchase of 911 GTS.
I would certainly recommend Porsche Chester as the dealer was trustworthy and ensured effortless transaction with attention to even the little details.

Keys reset on Tuesday, took longer than expected but experience made more pleasurable by Jamie Lee’s great service.

The centre manager here states that they don't have CCTV. I find that unlikely. They lost my service book.

Very dangerous that a staff member can make false allegations, unchallenged and these lies go up the chain of command.

Do not use this centre. Don't dare complain if they do a bad job, otherwise you'll be banned and be subject to false allegations like I have been.

Original review:
I booked my vehicle in recently for service and warranty work, these issues span over a 1 year timeframe between 2 x separate appointments, the latest appointment included work to fix problems they had caused on the previous appointment.

I have also had similar issues with other vehicles here, whereby they have broken things and failed to assemble things properly. It's always been a nightmare.

For this review I will focus on my latest experience only, important point to note it's not a one off or a case of I've been unlucky.

The most recent service was not carried out correctly and dangerous faults (covered under warranty) with the vehicle remained even after collection. I was advised they were "repaired" but they remain and are preventing use of the vehicle.

After collection over 1 x month ago I emailed the service advisor (who I was subsequently advised was new and inexperienced) to advise the original problems still remained, no response or acknowledgement. Not looking good....

I waited patiently, another week went by, I emailed the centre principle requesting assistance, to be advised matters would be passed back to the service manager. Great, maybe things will finally get sorted, at least I got a response.

The service manager then made initial contact via email, leading me to believe they would assist and do what was required to resolve matters. Great, so far so good.

No further contact was made until receiving an email over a week later from the service manager advising due my alleged "rude and abusive behaviour" I was no longer welcome and no further support or assistance would be provided. What are you talking about? This is nonsense, there has been no contact or interaction sadly, no follow ups, no calls, nothing. How can I possibly be rude and abusive. In any event would it not be reasonable to make contact with your customer and discuss any faults?

I have been left high and dry with faults remaining that are covered under warranty and left with a vehicle still leaking oil, with noxious fumes entering the cabin, all of which were "fixed". This is dangerous, but Porsche Chester think this is okay and show no duty of care to their customers or safety.

It appears my experience is similar to other recent reviews. Porsche Chester like selling cars and warranties, but not doing the work and trying to upsell for work not required or worse still charge for work covered under warranty.

If you don't want to do warranty work, don't sell warranties.

If you can't perform basic service and maintenance, don't offer a service department.

In my case Porsche Chester have fabricated allegations of "rude and abusive behaviour" when there has been no contact. Seeking to blame me to avoid their responsibilities and covering up doing a bad job. Okay, see you in court.

I'm left thinking:

Why can't an official Porsche dealer not:

1. Answer the phone?
2. Call customers back?
3. Provide reasonable diagnostics and acceptable standard of work?
4. Tell the truth.

These are the absolute basics.

In summary:
I cannot recommend Porsche Chester for service or warranty work due to their lack of integrity or honesty. Although the sales side seems far better I would not purchase any vehicle from them because at some point your vehicle is going to need a service, and that is when you could experience some of the worst customer service on offer, I don't feel brave or stupid enough to try again and would recommend you don't either.

I will update my review to reflect any action and useful updates.

We had an outstanding experience from start to finish purchasing a car at Porsche Chester. Both Nathan and Simon were absolutely wonderful. Extremely professional, competent and approachable, we felt really welcome and comfortable. I would definitely make the long drive to Porsche Chester again when the time comes to buy another car.

I don’t do reviews as a rule but on this occasion I feel I need to say that Nathan and Simon from Porsche Chester gave me the best new car purchase experience I have ever had from my first visit to handover they are exceptional and if you are looking for a used or new car please give them a go you won’t be disappointed

I recently purchase an Approved Used Macan S from the Chester centre after visiting late in one evening just to look at some options. I chatted with Josh from initial visit through to final completion and handover, and cannot fault the experience. The car I went with was actually not on site and was from another centre in the group - so was a distance purchase which I was a little worried about, but Josh has been excellent from day 1 in covering all concerns, is SO knowledgeable about all the cars, you can see so clearly that he's passionate and really can answer any question, but is also very approachable and easy to chat with to make the process personal to me and my car. I had a test drive in another car with Connor who equally was very knowledgable and put me at complete ease for understanding how the car really drives as it's a very different experience to my previous car and both guys combined ultimately contributed to my purchase.

The car handover experience was great and thoroughly talked through the car, options and details, and the after care comms has been great. I didn't feel for a second that I was treated any differently to another customer in the centre - absolutely enjoyed buying from Porsche Chester and would recommend to anyone looking for the same.

Overall great experience from James and the team at Porsche Chester when buying our new car.
James kept us updated during the process and was more than willing to help with any questions.
