Excellent service provided through Nathan Sivills. I had initially boughtt the car in for some work and the problems were found at this visit. I was informed someone would be in touch. No one got in touch . I called and left a message through reception - still no one called . I went into prosche Chester and informed Nathan of the problem . He immediately arranged a service date and this was followed through to the end . Fantastic service by Nathan .

Think very carefully before buying a Taycan here
My experience with Porsche Chester has been appalling.
I have had problems with my Taycan virtually from the day I bought it, with repeated visits back to the dealership and an unacceptable amount of time off the road.
I am now facing an alleged high-voltage battery issue and a replacement cost of over £35,000. I also paid Porsche Chester £1,410 for investigation work, yet getting clear answers and documentation has involved endless chasing.
I specifically raised reliability concerns when buying the car because I live remotely. Had the potential vulnerability and enormous cost associated with damage to the underside/HV battery been properly explained to me, I would never have bought it.
A Porsche should come with premium service and peace of mind. My experience has been the complete opposite.
My complaint has now been formally escalated.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Porsche Chester — particularly if you are considering a Taycan.

Avoid this company at all costs.
So the prompt has asked me, ‘what went wrong this time’, which is ironic given the amount that has gone wrong over three years of buying a car from Sytner Porsche in Chester.
Before I start, I am not one for giving negative public reviews but they have emailed me and asked for one. I would prefer to speak direct to source, but that has got me nowhere over three years, as no one at Sytner is prepared to listen or act on the car they sold me and the constant problems it has had.
I bought a Porsche car from the group in late 2023 and at a rough guess, they have had the car for repair work for at least three months of ownership. 12-15 times it has been in with them (I lost count of how many times it has been in as it became a laughable).
It has been in for trivial things not picked up in the Porsche 111 point check, which I am quite confident was never carried out when I bought the car from them, to more major issues such as corrosion, bolts failing on the exhaust box and belts snapping in the engine.
One of the latest episodes was serious corrosion on both rear wheel arches, which was picked up within two years of ownership. Chester Sytner hold themselves to zero accountability and just brush me away with my concerns. I had a car sold to me, at great expense, that has serious exterior corrosion and they expect me to foot the the bill on a car that is still under warranty.
At fear of writing too much, and going into too much detail online, my advice would be to avoid this group when buying your car. Buy it from somewhere else if you want to be dealt with professionally and responsibly.
Sytner Porsche Chester from top to bottom is a shambles. If you call them and you can’t get hold of who you need to get hold of, you are told they will ring you back, the call never comes (I have got used to chasing them now but I have never experienced a lack of professionalism like this from a company before). Only the other day, I had to ring three times throughout the course of a day to get an answer on something from them, each time I was told I would be called back immediately and each time the call never came. This might sound trivial, and it is, but if they can’t even tackle basic communication, how can they properly manage the sale of a car from start to finish,
Another trivial matter, just so you are aware of how this company cannot do the basics correctly. When your car is booked in with them you will be asked if you want your car cleaned. I reckon in the 12-15 times my car has been in, it has been cleaned 60% of the time. Yes it’s trivial and matters very little in the grand scheme of things, but don’t spend your money with a company that are inept and cannot commit to the basics.
If I could give zero stars for Sytner Porsche Chester on this platform, I would, however one star is the minimum.

Service satisfactory, but why don’t service advisors phone you back?!
Pickup service very helpful. Car serviced and valeted as expected.
But I had a couple of queries regarding the invoice and so rang to speak the service advisor the following day.
Rang first thing and was told he would ring me back. Hadn’t heard anything by the afternoon so rang again and told the same. No one contacted me.
I find this disappointing, surely a matter of courtesy to return a call. Basic customer service let down that frustrates customers!

Great for sales, atrocious service department
My hybrid remained in shop for 6 weeks plus, after software update they performed failed and destroyed a battery component. First delay occurred when only technician authorized to service this part suddenly had to leave for a week to a training course. Then dealership claimed Porsche parts was slow to delivery parts (whether that be GB or Germany).
Either Porsche was indeed slow to delivery but given my past experience with this dealer, my guess is that the parts were not ordered on a timely basis and/or delayed by technician’s absence.
Service advisor was absolutely brilliant and did everything to be helpful and informative. Dealership principal, on the other hand, never responded to any emails or phone calls.
This is truly an exceptional dealer on the sales side; helpful, courteous, lovely people, and excellent inventory.
On the other hand, service is a nightmare based on my multiple poor experiences. I will never use this dealer again, and I’m very lucky to have three others just about the same distance to choose from.

Brilliant service
I have been dealing with Porsche Chester to source a new vehicle for a while, and have to say the whole process has been excellent. David Boyle (Sales) and the rest of the team have been fantastic from start to finish, and have made me feel like a very valued customer.
