Horrible online experience. Ordered shuffleboard table for delivery in 2-3 weeks. First contact was from Lyndsay telling me to fill out a form required by the manufacturer. So I printed, filled it out, scanned it and returned it. Two weeks later, second contact: Lyndsay wrote again and told me to take a video of the house from the driveway to the back yard. I wrote back and explained that we were not there to be able to do that. However, I described how it was unobstructed 200' or less and a gentle slope down on the lawn.
Final contact "Thank you for ordering from Sports Unlimited. At your request, we have cancelled your order."
I wrote back that this was NOT my request.
Ghosted.

She’s taken the time to answer ALL my questions promptly and professionally, down right commendable, 100%. I ended purchasing a few things, a helmet included and she walked me through the process . Now as mentioned, I’m not a first-time buyer and I’ve been in retail for nearly half my life, so I know superior customer service when I see and experience it, and that’s her!

ABSOLUTLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! No communication at all. I ordered product on the first of December for a Christmas gift. I was assured it was going to be here by Christmas. I reached out several times inquiring about my product. I was told everytime, we will look into it and email you back. No emails, no phone calls nothing. I sit here today after Christmas with nothing!! We will never use them again!!!
Hidden tax/import fees use a UK company if I'm the UK
The helmet is great and no issues with that, however we are in the UK & about 3 weeks after the item arrived I received an email about an extra £62 to be paid for import taxes. There was no mention of this at any time during the ordering process so I don't feel the company are being transparent to those ordering outside of the US. We only ordered this one as it was slightly cheaper but now it would have been cheaper to buy in the UK! So although I'd give the helmet 5 stars I'd give the buisness 0 stars. I emailed in & was told it is likely import fees, which clearly they know about but just don't mention that anywhere, so a wasted over £90 total for import, delivery etc a total con, use a UK based site if in the UK.

Don’t order the outdoor tailgate chair
We ordered a tailgate chair which came in the wrong color. We had to send it back after going back and forth several times to find out how to do the return. Then we reordered chair in a different color. It broke after the second time someone sat in it. It was a $171 chair supposedly able to hold over 300 lbs!

I didn't receive the package; Fed Ex says delivered but it's nowhere to be found.

Poor support and no product received
Well, I have no product. FedEx shipped my son’s very expensive football helmet to the wrong address - not your fault. After MUCH headache on my end dealing with FedEx, I found out it was being returned to you - again not your fault. I communicated all of this to you, got incredibly kind responses that sounded like when my helmet made its way back to you, you’d be getting it back to me. The last communication I received was “let me talk you our shipping person to see what we can do for you” and I was asked which shipping company I’d like to use when it did come back. A few days later I was getting a notification about a refund going through with no communication about my order being now cancelled. Once again, the burden fell on me to figure out what was happening with this order because I was not communicated with. I responded on the same email thread that previously said it would be coming back to me, to ask what was happening. The response was short and direct - yes, your order is cancelled and you’re getting a refund. You can repurchase the helmet if you want.
No thanks. I needed this football helmet for my son who was already actively playing football. I paid for expedited shipping to ensure he got it in time for his first game. The shipping issues were out of your hand. The lack of communication about cancelling an order for no reason, and then putting the burden back on the customer to repurchase the product is bad on your part.

I purchased a catchers gear for my 11year old the helmet was too tight so when I started doing the return, I had to pay the return. When I took it to get it shipped they wanted to charge me $150 because I didn’t have a label for it. Called back and they created a label for me but I got $25 deducted from the refund, so they charged me to the label to return something brand new that didn’t fit my son. Then they took forever to refund my money back.
