Booked tickets to a showing in Paisley and realized we could no longer make it, showcase we’re quick to respond and rescheduled our tickets to a more suitable date. 😀

I have just collected my 15 year old daughter from Showcase Peterborough where she went to see 'Black Widow' with some friends. Before they even went into the cinema they were subjected to a threatening lecture from one of the staff telling them that if they made any noise, or used their phones, or disturbed anyone they would have 2 warnings and then they would be 'kicked out', or they would be split up and made to sit in groups of two. Just to be very clear, I hate people messing about in the cinema as much as anyone but at this stage they hadn't even gone in and had done nothing to suggest they were there for any reason other than to watch the film. This is the first film they have been to see in nearly 18 months and in my daughter's words' it was completely ruined'. Staff need to be made aware that being 15 doesn't automatically make you a hooligan, and that they need to actually have a reason to give someone a lecture on bad behaviour rather than rushing to judgement based purely on age.I hated it when I was a teenager and it sounds like it hasn't improved.

I have two new born children and wanted to go to the Reading Showcase cinema at lunchtime (the cinema was empty) to get a tango ice blast- as a cinema viewing is not possible with two children. I was turned away at the door! Totally disappointed with the service! Wouldn’t not recommend visiting! It’s a shame with the economic environment that a struggling industry can turn away customers and loose sales!

Showcase Leeds always had great experience! Insider club is very good, cinema always very clean and seats are very comfy. Very efficient seat blocking service due to covid-19 restrictions, wouldnt go anywhere else, never had a bad experience and staff are very friendly!

Thanks to the team at showcase cinema at avonmeads Bristol this morning I was able to change my booking and they couldn't have been more helpful! I'm sorry I didn't get their names, but my daughter and granddaughter had a lovely time and really enjoyed Peter rabbit 2!

They should really state that tickets are non refundable anywhere when purchasing.

Booked tickets for upcoming holiday, find out holiday is cancelled due to work and even though I sent them an email an hour after purchase they still can't refund?

Still took them 3 days to reply.

Poor customer service and way overpriced compared to other brand cinemas.

I am a disabled customer and tried to book a free career with CEA card - no facility to do this online other than calling a premium number. My disability is that I am profoundly deaf therefore not able to use the telephone to communicate!
Emailed cinema more than 2 days ago & not even the courtesy of a response.

I watched tenet and the volume was extremely loud which ruined the whole film. The bass was fine but I just don’t understand when there’s smashing sounds, gun shots, car crashing etc why they had to put it so loud doesn’t make any sense.

Adam from Nottingham Showcase was so helpful this morning that I feel compelled to write a review.
He is the definition of going above and beyond and really helped me out with my query around changing my booking and also gave me extra information about bringing babies into the cinema.

Date is 4th August and just came back from watching "onward" 11.20 showing at Nantgarw showcase.

Booking the tickets I noticed they are in blocks of 2, 3 blocks to 1 row and 2 rows remain empty in front and behind. I was shocked to notice upon entering screen 10 that there was no social distancing at all, I asked 1 person how he was sat where he was and he replied he was told by a team member that he could sit anywhere he wanted.

This is deeply concerning during this time and thus I have decided not to return to showcase during this pandemic, I am looking to take this issue further because simply this is a disgrace, seating should be enforced by team members. What is your current cleaning procedure when ppl sit anywhere?

It is your job showcase to adhere to the rules if you are to stay open during this time and currently you are not.

Sent an email to showcase headquarters same time I did this review, 6 hours later and already received an email from them apologising and asking for more details.

Very happy with speed of reply and hopeful this incident won't happen again so increasing my star rating.

Not impressed with Showcase.

Tried to book on-line - disabled client has a Disabled CEA Card which allows free ticket for carer to look after them - no option for this to book on-line and as can only book on-line at the moment - Can't book! - which is Discrimination to disabled people. Tried to Contact Bluewater line several times - just rings + costs 13p per minute - held on for 15 minutes but still just ringing, no reply from emails - will escalate complaint.

First time at Showcase.

Seats comfortable and clean. Very spacious cinema with loads of space between rows.

My tkt was only a fiver because it was a classic movie while they wait for fresh stuff to come out. The normal price will be much higher.

The Showcase Cinema at Winnersh Triangle was my childhood place to watch films. For years it was very dated with small, rough material seats however the upgrade is amazing. All theatres have graded seating to avoid the problem of a tall person in front of you. The seats are also quality comfy leather (or faux), have reclining capability and a rising footrest. The drinks and snacks are of course very expensive as is normal for cinemas but the experience of the movie is great.

Insider rewards were wiped off because I hadn't used them in a while, I was going to use them to treat my grandchildren to a film, Customer services were less than helpful quoting " it's in the terms and conditions "

made a mistake booking tickets and they wouldn't refund me.
Cineworld do refunds so I will be using their services from now on

The recliner seats are exceptional. Each film viewing is a unique experience and the staff are always helpful. My favourite cinema of all the local ones and I dare say that the Coventry upgrade in 2017 was a huge boost to the city's social life!

Booked tickets to go and see the latest Star Wars film but came down with an illness.
Checked online to see if you could get a refund and you can but only IN AMERICA

WHY CAN'T THE UK SHOWCASE OFFER THE SAME POLICY??

I can only apologise to the other patrons in the cinema who might now catch my cold because I'm not losing out on £45 tickets!!

Visited the Showcase Cinema in Coatbridge to see the new Star Wars film. Service was quick. We were told it was cinema 5. The cinema has been upgraded and it looks amazing with large leather seats and wide aisles. The whole experience including the film was excellent. Well done.
