Good communication. Moving crew was professional. We had some complicated furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled. Did a great job.

I had a great experience relocating our daughter from Philadelphia to the Netherlands with Ruby Moves. Since I was not familiar with shipping goods over the ocean I really appreciated the good communication with Ruby Moves. All the emails I sent to Helen were answered prompt, professional and friendly. The move itself went smoothly both in the USA and in The Netherlands. I am happy we found you !

Overall, my shipping experience was a nightmare I do not wish to repeat. That being said, it was Helen at Ruby Moves who helped me retain the little sanity I had left. The horrible things that happened to us were the fault of our beloved left wing government, not Ruby Moves. Helen became my friend and advisor in an ordeal that spanned well over a year! She never left me. Thank you Helen!
Helen was always on point. Every step of the way she answered the calls or called back very quickly. Ruby had a container at our storage facility at the appointed time. I was not present at the location at the time of load pit and container packing but was assured by my storage facility everything went smoothly. I was kept informed through the morning by Helen and was alerted when the container got to the port. All the logistics of importing were handled by Helen and her team. Huge relief as we avoided import tax due to my husbands dual citizenship in Italy. The crew of three in Italy that moved our stuff into the house was TOP notch. If they say they need to do a “long haul” they are probably right. We had hoped they could get the container to our street but it is BIG. So our only source of stress leading up to delivery was our own interference with Ruby’s oversight. Lesson learned. Not that we plan on a move like that ever again. We are here to stay. My only comment to Ruby after the fact was the point person on Italy team pre delivery relied more on emails to communicate. For me, more direct communication with a friendly calming voice on the phone would have gone a long way and reassured me better than any email could. Helen took the comment with appreciation and made note of it with the Italy team. All in all I was very glad Helen was at the helm. After a year of date changes and uncertainty they were the right fit for us. In the end the fact that it is a woman owned company inspired me to book them. The devil’s in the details. They were meticulous. And nothing broken and I’m midway through my unpacking. Pretty remarkable when you think about all the stuff has been through. Thanks Helen. And my Italian crew: Daniele, Angelo and Alfonso.
I only shipped 6 boxes however Luis was so informative and gave me a lot of his time and details regarding the process. Thank you for your support.

Our salesperson was very professional and provided information that no other company provided which made the customs process easy.
Our furniture was delivered yesterday. The movers were professional, hardworking and paid attention to detail. Our furniture was well-wrapped and protected. Nothing damaged. We are very happy and highly recommend Ruby International.
Was very impressed with the service overall. The customer service and follow-up persistency let me feel like Ruby was on top of my shipment door to door. Movers were excellent and courteous. My shipment arrived in one piece and safe! Would recommend to anyone looking for international shipment services.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from this company. I contacted them about sending 2 boxes to Mendoza Argentina. The rep that i contacted informed me that they do send boxes door to door to Argentina. I got the boxes packed and everything went smooth up till the time they pick them up. Before they picked them up I this inquire if I had to pay any fees or taxes because I am not an Argentinian citizen. I was informed that once the boxes got the Argentina they will call me so I can pay the fees. When the boxes got to Argentina, the people form FedEx came to my families home and informed them that I had to pay 126 dollars and 1440 pesos, which I said I wouldn't mind paying. The problem was that the boxes where in the airport in Buenos Aires. I contacted the company Ruby International to inform them of this and they told me I needed to hire a courier to take the boxes to Mendoza, which is more than 8 hours away from Buenos Aires. I asked them for help in this matter and they just gave me a couple of number to courier companies and one of them told me it will cost me 2000 dollars to do this and the other said its not worth it to call Ruby Internationals and have them request my boxes be returned to me. As of today I have been emailing Ruby international and I have gotten no response or any call back. They have been ignoring my emails. This was a couple of months ago. They are irresponsible and do not want to help clients when there is a problem. I don't know what to do, I lost 400 dollars that I pay them plus all the items I sent to my family This happened in January of 2023. I had submitted this review before but they called me and said that if I remove the review that they will help me which they didnt. this company is a scam

Eric was great to start with, then Helen took over and was very easy to work with. Both communicated very regularly.
Price was fair.
Delivery happened even quicker than anticipated. No issues, all in one piece.

After posting this review I received a call from this company saying they were going to give me a discount until they read I left them a bad review and demanding immediate invoice payment on the following Friday or I would be charged a late fee (no late fees are listed on the terms and conditions and I was within my payment due period) as a response. They openly said it was because they didnt agree with this review. They also threatened me that “slandering is a violation and at this company we do not take it lightly”
So far my family and I have not received our items but have received a bill for close to 2000 more than what we were originally quoted (125 extra of this is paperwork and 553 was insurance which was fine)
I had them check our items across cubic footage twice to ensure we didn’t go over. Even after checking I did remove two large items from those planned to ship (very large dresser and a king mattress).
We are a family of 4 and strict budget so we asked lots of questions.
I had to add back a mattress in a box (had removed the mattress originally quoted) as I found we cannot get king mattresses here. Helen seemed very accommodating and encouraged me to remember to add sheets and covers but not too soon 2-3 days of the pickup before or after. I ordered them within 2 days of pickup on Amazon as the mattress arrived early so I didn’t want to inconvenience the company. I offered to send overnight and was told all was fine. Was also told all was fine with my pickup location when assessed.
They billed me close to 1000 more saying it was 58 over and 20cf of that was for the 3 small items in the Amazon order (sheets mattress cover and duvet). They charged $150 extra for the location of pickup even though we had asked if this location would work or we should change.
They also added extra charges for accepting the Amazon items (75.00) - items I was encouraged to send.
Overall I feel they purposely misrepresented all they could to get our business and then charged whatever they figured they could get away with.
Helen went from nice and helpful to rude and gaslighting when questioned about the extra charges and lack of transparency and communication beforehand. We felt really misled and taken advantage of and the response we received from the company was not considerate but gave the impression they do this often. It leads me to question whether the reviews on here are valid.
Overall if you are like me on a careful budget I wouldn’t work with them. This has greatly impacted my family and I to have to accomodate this extra cost.

Best moving experience we’ve ever had. Excellent communication at any time. This company goes the extra mile for their customers. Like clock work - on time - respectful and excellent partners in Germany as well. Not a single piece damaged or broken.

We had a very good experience with Ruby. We remained in contact with the same agent all along our move, until reception of our goods in Europe. Our contact was always courteous and very prompt to answer our questions. I really recommend Ruby for your move.
I would absolutely recommend this company. My move put them through challenges. Ayal, my customer service representative was amazing to work with.

Rubymoves is very experienced and professional company for international moving. Their service agent is very nice to follow up and reply my email to tell me how to make packing list and loading container for export. Container has been delivered to my home within one month.
