Booked a taxi at half 7 for my daughter for school still sat waiting at 8.55 they put the phone down when u ring back to see were it is very rude swear at you tell u to f off its going to be 4 minutes waitied another 15 mins and its still not arrived then they dont answer and tell me they have now canceled it rubbish service would never recommend or use ever again

Today we were collected right on time. The vehicle was spotless and there was complementary water, tissues and fizzy drinks. Our driver Mr Mark Sylvester was extremely polite and helpful. Can’t rate him or his vehicle highly enough. If only all taxi journeys were as good as this one was!

Got stranded with my wife at Gatwick North carpark. The summer special parking employees gave me their number, and Roadrunners said I had to walk 1 hour to some hotel at 3;00 am and 2 degrees centigrades, because it was their “policy”. Had to wake up my brother to pick us up. Would you BELIEVE THIS???!!!

Appalling Experience - A Driver's Threat and Aggression

I had the most horrifying experience with RoadRunners Minicabs that I feel compelled to share. Three of us, including two young women and one mother who is disabled, booked a ride with this service for an early morning airport trip at 3:00 AM. My mother and I were accompanying my sister to the airport for support, I was due to start work at 8:30 am and my mother was to have a hospital appointment at 9:00 am. We were in good spirits and happy to assist my sister until this ordeal.

From the outset, the driver's behavior was off-putting, and the car itself was far from pleasant. A disgusting smell in the car. His driving speed made us uncomfortable, but we decided not to voice our concerns initially. We remained in complete silence, all of us uncomfortable due to the driver's demeanor.

However, things took a terrifying turn when the driver suddenly demanded cash halfway through our journey on the motorway. We had pre-booked the ride and confirmed payment by card via the online link provided to us. When we explained this to the driver, he raised his voice and insisted on cash only.

His aggression escalated to the point where he threatened us, three women, without any provocation. He shouted and, at one point, stated, "Don't challenge me; I am driving this car, DON'T CHALLENGE ME." This left my sister in tears, and we were left in shock. He continued with if we don’t pay by cash right now he states “I WILL DROP YOU ANYWHERE ON THIS MOTORWAY”. Even writing this I’m so confused as to why he was so angry, threatening and volatile to us?

we inquired if we could withdraw cash at the airport, to which the driver shouted a resounding "NO." He also strangely mentioned that he had to pay to drop us off, which left us confused and feeling like this was a personal attack.

The driver's behavior was beyond alarming, and we couldn't comprehend why he acted this way. Instead of contacting the company to clarify any payment issues, he continued to yell and threaten us. This type of behavior is absolutely unacceptable for anyone in a service industry, let alone a taxi driver.

Ultimately, he dropped us off at an Esso in Redhill to withdraw cash. It was then that we decided we could not continue the journey. We felt fear and anxiety, and my disabled mother was left alone with the driver as we frantically were trying to figure out how to escape. Get our luggage and bring our mum to safety without any verbal or physical abuse. We urgently booked an Uber to escape this frightening situation.

Upon contacting RoadRunners, the customer service experience was abysmal. Their response was inadequate, and the call handler, identified as "T," was dismissive and unprofessional. This only added to our distress.

We had no choice but to exit the cab in the middle of nowhere out of sheer fear for our safety. We even paid an extortionate amount for the journey, fearing that this man might physically harm us. It was an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

It's 13 hours after the incident, and I'm at work with no sleep, having flashbacks of the ordeal. Tears fill my eyes, and I can't stop replaying the moment. I regret paying him; I regret not shouting at him and insulting him. I regret not giving back the abuse he directed at us. How can someone do this?

He operates in the Croydon area and was initially meant to take us to Gatwick until this awful ordeal. I will try to warn as much people as I can. If he ends up killing or attacking someone I won’t be surprised at least I managed to escape and hopefully I can prevent someone else from this experience. A lonely girl may entrust him to drive her and could experience violence. PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL. As soon as I can I will add more detail.

We did not do ANYTHING to provoke this behaviour. I hope that justice prevails, and no one else has to endure such a traumatic experience. It is worse than I could ever type.

First time I've used road runners was recommended to me by someone and can recommend them myself to others
Taxis spotless, driver's tidy in appearance and no problem with booking came on time..and returning arrived in minutes took me, my freind and sister in law to the Odeon at the springs today.

Ibar did not go to the correct location. Left after 2 mins and I had to pay for another ride even though I paid for the one I didn’t get. Not happy with this service, will not be telling others to go for roadrunners.

After checking my bank account it seems roadrunners have been taking money out of my bank account for journeys I haven't even had 😡

This is a review for RoadRunners in Leeds. Every time we order a taxi with them, it is a non-English driver who is not from the Leeds area, has no idea of the area we want to go to and are very rude.

I, my daughter along with my 4 week old grandchild ordered a taxi home a few nights ago by phone and specifically told the reception person the area we wanted picking up from and where we were going to, taxi turns up with another driver who asked where we were going? We told him very clearly but he asked us a further three times and said he didn't know where it was and was it in Leeds? Of course it's in Leeds, he then asked for our postcode, we had to give him that FOUR times because he kept typing it into his sat nav wrongly. We asked if he was actually from Leeds and he said no, he lives in Bradford and wasn't familiar with Leeds. Why then do RoadRunners have drivers who are 1) not from the area and 2) don't know the areas they work in. We got out the car and had to call an Uber who knew our destination and took us home within 6 minutes. We will not be using RoadRunners ever again.

I was half in the vehicle and he started driving again. Running over my foot and dragging me from the moving car and trapping my foot under the wheel of his car.
The driver never logged the accident.
Customer services never responded to me. I called and emailed.
Last resort I addressed them on Facebook to be told I'm attention seeking and looking for sympathy publicly by their customer services. They also lied and said they've tried to contact me but I've declined any further correspondence. I have never experienced such a terrible customer care team in my life. How can you ignore a paying customer who was RUN OVER AND TRAPPED UNDER YOUR VEHICLE and not log any injury or want to resolve the matter.
This is now a police issue.
The driver had the audacity to ask me to pay a £12 waiting fee because he arrived early?! Driver also had YouTube up on his phone in the car.
I'm traumatised by roadrunners service.

Booked to be picked up from airport but as it turns out they had the wrong date so I ended up waiting 45mns, then the driver was unable to communicate where he was picking me up from and for some reason I found him in the drop off area. And finally just to top it up, he wanted to take me to the wrong address. I was given an email address to complain but guess what? No response....oh they also make you pay up front so you have no choice but honour their rubbish service.

Absolute crap. Don't bother

Booked a taxi, got the text saying it's on it's way... It's was priced at 5.80 when we get in the car the man starts shouting £10 it's £10 (considering we got the same taxi 2 nights before at £5.80) he was saying he wasn't going to take us for £5.80 and kicked us out of the car. People need to beware that these drivers are greedy and they add more money on your fare. It's disgusting.. Called the office they said it was a mistake they're end but as we got into the second car the second driver told us the people in the office goes the long ways on purpose for more money as they're are road works going on.. All in it together.. Beware.. I have his number plate. And I'll also review elsewhere to for people to know about this service.

I had booked a taxi from Heathrow to Croydon on 28 December 2022 and was quoted £78 for the journey.
The driver Terry charged me £86!
I rang the office to mention this and was told it should have been £80. However they do not seem to take any action against the driver.

This taxi firm is awful. They have let us down time and time again even with an airport run. Last night we booked a taxi for our 17 year old daughter. When it eventually arrived it was 30 mins late. I was told if you book online it is treated less of a priority than the telephone and they can only honour the booking if they have a driver in the area. Surely if you have bookings you meet those? We will never be using them again. I would give less than one star if it allowed.

I am extremely fed up with road runners in croydin ther eis people in pain trying to get to the hospital the receptionist lady is very rude they need a new receptionist tonight she hanged the phone up on me n tell me to get off the phone very unprofessional I couldn't belive it I will be coming down there tomorrow to make another complaints she was very rude and left me by the side of the road
