Very disappointing. I bought the 'gourmet' selection. 14 quid (on offer) for 30 tea bags. I was attracted by the packaging and box they came in. The tea itself, every flavour, is utterly tasteless... Leggi di più

Not nice
After seeing advert for Pukka herbal tea , thought I would try the Lemon, ginger and manuka honey ( all ingredients I use myself ) I could not believe how disgusting this tea is . Does not taste of any of the three ingredients , and was not made any nicer when the bag fell apart as I removed it from the cup . Uck !
Weak Dishwater
I bought the original chai and the vanilla chai. I can’t even taste it unless I put 2 tea bags in at the same time and leave them in while I drink it and even then it’s like dishwater, no taste no anything. I won’t be wasting my money on that again and it’s not cheap either.
Quality of 'detox/feel new' has deteriorated.
When the tea was labelled detox, it was beautiful and 1 tea bag gave a good cup.it then became feel new, 2 teabags and very thin, broke often, now the box is green and worse feel new. Even 2 teabags aren't adequate. I'm so disappointed.
Bags break every single time.
Bags break every single time.
I saw someone on here recommending Yogi tea instead so just went and had a look. Available from Ocado and cheaper than Pukka.
Will be switching over to Yogi pronto.
Ginger as ingredient in tea to aid sleep???
I like Pukka teas but not impressed by their NightTime Berry tea which contains ginger! I'd love to know on earth they worked that one out.
Nothing Special for a high price
These teas are original in the presentation and variety of flavours.
But why do the instructions tell you to let the tea bags infuse for 15 minutes? That would result in your tea becoming cold!
I also find that the tea bags break too easily when put into the cups and moved around in order to make the tea brew stronger. Normal tea bags don't break so easily.
I've been through about 14 boxes of various flavours. I do like the idea of adding liquorice root to create a natural sweet taste that most herbals don't have, but too many of the flavours taste the same. There is also too much liquorice or ginger in some of the flavours.
Pukkaly disappointed
I have tried all flavours of tea from pukka
herbs, and I have been disappointed every time!
I will be buying Yogi tea from now on, as it has a much stronger flavour and is much cheaper.
The only good thing about pukka tea is the pretty box. Tea is very poor quality!
Only just realised that these sell outs…
Only just realised that these sell outs are so full of BS, all about the money, you can no longer be ethical/sustainable when you sell out to Unilever so stop conning everyone. Makes my blood boil !
Teas ain't what they used to be
I feel sad, and cynical. Pukka teas began with integrity with a qualified herbalist, and they've ended up (well chosen words) as part of a massive brand. Teas are now weak, formulaic and lack that 'x'factor of deliciousness that they innocently came to market with. Disappointing - there are now many superior, and truly ethical brands. I'm so disinterested in a marketing response should they deign. The solution; if you start small and innocent - keep it that way. Fact: there are now superior, small, and independent brands available. Seek them out.
Tea bags are falling apart releasing…
Tea bags are falling apart releasing all the content into a mug. It took me ages to clean my thermal mug out of it. It happened too many times to continue buying. Another issue with their teas is that they add licorice to nearly every type of tea they do and that's not really beneficial for men. Flavour is not very strong either. Disappointing

After waiting 4 working days for my delivery I discovered from the tracking number my order was (and still is) sat at the Royal Mail sorting office for 2 working days despite being on a 48 hour tracked delivery schedule. I contacted Pukka chasing my order and received the following reply:
Thank you for contacting us.
In response to your inquiry to order UK11695, I would suggest contacting Royal Mail.
Yours sincerely,

Poor service and advice from Alexander on behalf of Pukka Herbs. My contract is with Pukka Herbs not Royal Mail and in the name of customer service I expect Pukka Herbs to fulfil their contractual obligation until my order is received by me meaning when asked to chase the order with the carrier (Royal Mail), Pukka does so.
I made an account just to write this review.
I got the pleasure of getting a tea advent calendar this year. I didn't mind the brand because I believed it would be fine like every yea brand i've tried. The first day, the tea was ...not that good. It tasted like someone had chewed some gum for several hours and spit it into your mouth, warm and little hint of a flavor that it was supposed to be. It tasted like I had drank tea that was steeped by having hot water sit near herbs not even touching the water. It had been the worst tea I have ever drank. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt. So, I tried the next day's tea. Still weak, like someone accidentally dropped a lemon drop in their warm water and quickly took it out. But still I shrugged it off. So I went day after day, taking a sip and pouring it out because of how disgusting it was. None of the teas I tried were even close to good. I was blown away on how you could mess up tea this bad. I even had other people try the tea and they were disgusted. I eventually stopped doing the advent calendar all together. Don't buy this tea. It uses a bunch of cheap ingredients, their teas don't even state like they describe, they are so weak, and they have the audacity to overprice it.

Bought the peppermint and liquorice tea in the past which was lovely. I got a new box recently and it's tasteless, no flavour of either. Waste of money and it's not cheap.
Half full box is not eco
Hej. Gillar ert varumärke. MEN.. Ni har missat helt att halvfulla kartonger ger er en badwill utan dess like.
Förstår inte tanken med ( dubbel ) transportutrymme. Ekologiskt njae får man väl säga. Transportera luft är knappast ok i dagens samhälle. Dax att tänka om.
Halffull box is not eco. Transporting air is not eco..Shame

I have been enjoying the Echinacea and elderberry teas for years but I have noticed recently that I have had to throw away at least 6 teabags in a box because the bag breaks when removed from the sachet. This has been the case for a while...so not just a bad batch incident.
All falls out of the bag.
Bought the cleanse pukka tea. Bag just falls apart and all comes out. Not even stirred or touched the bag just left it for 15 mins as recommended and all falls out. Not a great first experience and after reading several other reviews of customers with similar experience, will not be buying again. :-(
Just don't taste like they used to
Just don't taste like they used to. Teabags always break. So sad, will not be buying this tea anymore. Unilever you are obviously cutting corners, and by the look of it, we can all tell. Come on don't ruin a fantastic product. Shame on you...
mould in tea no response from PUKKA
Poor after sale customer service. I had a problem with my last two orders. I have ordered PUKKA tea and some of the boxes were full of mould. Even so the expiry date was in 2023. So it had to do on how the tea was stored. Unfortunately I didn't mention it right away to the seller. I did however send them an email and pictures. They just had a very standard way of dealing with the issue. No refund no new tea, its not our fault bla bla bla. I decided to move on to another brand as I am not sure if PUKKA itself had quality issues or the seller. However until today , I have also not heard from PUKKA themselves. Looks like they don't really care. Mould is actually very harmful.
Shame on you Unilever
Have enjoyed Pukka teas for years. However, recently they have become weaker. Liquorice and mint bland, 3 ginger pretty bland, Turmeric Gold weak and wishy washy! My daughter also mentioned Pukka teas are falling short on taste! Shall not be buying Pukka any longer! Shame on you Unilever!
Pukka is a total waste of time
What a waste of time trying to get products from this company. In early October of last year took up their offer of a sample pack of flavoured tea. Eventually arrived late December - every one out of date. Contacted them and they said they would send me out another one straight away. Four weeks later still not received anything. Got in touch again and then they said they had run out of stock. If true, surely an explanation email wouldn't have gone amiss. What a way to treat prospective customers. Have now given up and moved on................
