First class service (brake fitting) and communications - mechanic was excellent - very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous.

Whilst travelling in Carlisle a warning light was displayed indicating a loss of pressure on one tyre. This had also occurred a couple of weeks ago, so I realised that I had a slow puncture. As the other tyres, whilst legal, were showing signs of wear I called in at ProTyres in Denton Holme to see if they could replace all four tyres and told the member of staff what had happened and that I had been food shopping (the food was still in the car). The gentleman who served me checked the type of tyres I required and gave me a very clear outline of the different types of tyre that were available. I ended up deciding on a mid range type. The gentleman informed me that the work would take approximately 1 hour. I had some other calls to make within walking distance of Denton Tyres and whilst doing this (after an hour) I received a call to say that the car was ready to collect. What really impressed me was that my car had been parked in a shaded area to help preserve my food shopping. The work was carried out at a competitive cost, in a timely and thoughtful manner. I am very impressed with the service I received.

I found my experience good as always .
The service engineers were great did everything that was needed in quick time. Had a great time talking with them .
There is just one problem that I had not thought about until the situation arose.
That they are not wheelchair friendly.
I am recently new to this and didn't think about where to go as have been using them for years but when I got there was no access for me , not even through the workshop . The guys were very apologetic and very upset for me .
I just believe this is an easy fix̌ . Hopefully next time I go maybe I can go inside and talk to them.

Been here many a time for tyres! Never had any issues always get what’s needed with minimal fuss.

Simple process choose and buy online. Next day fitting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again .

Arrived and was welcomed with no hello but with “it’s absolutely criminal to have us even working here on a bank holiday. Don’t know why I am even in”
I came here instead of going to the Kingstown depot thinking it could be better but Whole service was absolutely awful. The toxic environment is matched at both locations. Real shame Denton Tyre has gone downhill like this.

Pulled the car out of the garage and one of my tyres was still flat and I had to ask them to inflate it.

The most shocking bit is I took it on the motorway and immediately the wheel started juddering and then the car was shaking up and down. I pulled into your Preston location, (the team were fantastic there) and they told me:
None of the wheels had been pressurised
The wheel nuts were not event tight
And I quote “I don’t think they have even tried to balance these wheels they were way off”

Will never return again, I’d sooner drive 1hr 30 to Preston.

Customer focussed staff always honest and helpful with car tyres assessment, and fitting. No pressure selling, always my first go to for tyres.

Friendly and helpful staff, with reasonable pricing

Arrived mid afternoon on a Friday , staff all sitting in the back room so clearly not busy. Customer in front of me was dropping a wheel & tyre off to have a puncture looked at but was told they couldn’t look at it until Monday. Tech assigned to my job clearly didn’t want to do it and asked one of his colleagues if they would do it. Killed off any confidence I had in the job being done properly. Unit is tired and furniture needs a revamp. Not a very inviting place. Lease and corporate vehicles seem to be keeping this place going. Was my job completed properly? No as the tech got most of it right but gave up on one aspect, I kept an eye on what was being done so could see the progress. Shame really as they have all the equipment and I’m sure on the right day they put the effort in, sadly not on the day I was there.

Pleasant helpful staff who quickly sorted the issue of tyres not on site - not their mistake. Professional service , thank you.

Always make protyre (Denton Tyres) my first choice when looking for new tyres, Used them for years and recommend them to family and friends.

Quick, pleasant and competitively priced service. A couple of years back, after the change of ownership, I was rather disappointed by the service - but this was back to the standards of the good old days ! Long may it last !

Whole bunch of lads were amazing! Made a really stressful situation into such a laugh! They clearly explained everything and made me feel totally at ease as a woman!
