Our Chantico Fire Light took a little…
Our Chantico Fire Light took a little while to be delivered but it has arrived now and we sat outside last night and watched the flames flicker. It really is beautiful. Make sure you read the instructions with regard to where to place the stones. We were able to sit out the whole evening and as it got darker the fire light was more and more effective. The Bio Ethanol burns without any odours whatsoever. One bottle lasted the whole evening.
During the delay of our product I have to say the staff were extremely polite and helpful in chasing the order.

Very well made and stylish outdoor bioethanol fireplace. Good price in comparison with other products available in the UK. It is easy to move around fireplace and it could be used indoors or outdoors. It has a very handy lighter included with the product. Easy to assemble (minimal assemble- attaching a base which took me a few minutes and optional screws to attach base to the floor). The only issue I have is the plastic containers with the biofuel- 5 litre containers are nightmare to pour out from. And because a tin which holds biofuel in the fireplace is large it only makes sense to order 5 litre containers. I used a funnel to pour it in but there was still a lot of spillage. Luckily I was doing it in the garden. Biofuel containers should have better pouring design or a purpose designed funnel included with the fireplace.

Dear Klaudia, we are delighted to hear you are enjoying your Gustav burner. On your biofuel note indeed we do recommend our clients to use the 1-litre bottles for this type of burner as they are easier to pour out from. We have tested providing funnels but as you say found that the fuel can still splosh around. Our best recommendation if you wish to use our more efficient 5-litre canisters is to buy a kitchen jug/measurer, fill the bioethanol into the jug and then slowly pour it into the burner letting the ceramic fibres absorb the fuel. An expensive ornament
An expensive ornament,so little heat that’s it’s useless. Should be really clear in product description that this is a table display and not a heated (this is hidden in technical detail. Had to send back at a restock fee of 25% fo the cost so with shipping cost me almost 70 to try it out

Dear Liam, we are sorry to hear you were not happy with your Chantico. The FAQ section of the product does have a section titled: How much heat does Chantico provide? With the answer of "Chantico has a heat output of 2.5 kW. It is not a heater but great to have as a decorative outdoor piece that you can warm your hands over. If kept indoors in a small room, it does provide a good amount of heat." So we do not feel this is at all hidden. Unfortuanley if the product is used and we can't resell it there is a restock fee.

Dear Paul, we are sorry to hear you haven't been enjoying your Chantico since buying it in May 2020. As per our written instructions and video if the white stone pebbles are placed in such a way that they touch the glass and transfer the heat the glass may crack. We do also advise ensuring any excess fuel is wiped away before lighting the fire. If the instructions are followed the glass does not crack. We do however sell replacement glass as accidental damage to glass isn't covered by our warranty.

Dear Lisa, thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you were hoping for a little more heat. All of our tabletop burners including your Simple have a maximum output of 2.5kw which is great for warming your hands over outside and would slightly warm a room inside but it is not a heater.

Initial heater sent had a gas leak from the area of the main coupling and a replacement was sent immediately with the faulty unit picked up by courier. The second unit had a faulty regulator and a replacement regulator was sent immediately by post. In summary, the customer service was exemplary. The heater works really well and we are very happy with it.

We did have an issue earlier this year with a faulty batch of regulators being delivered to us and we are sorry this affected your order. Your subsequent purchase in March 2021 was for the new 2021 model Lighthouse which has been thoroughly redesigned and upgraded with a higher heat output of 9kw, better weather-resistant wheels, and a new ignition system. We do not have any communications with you about has leaks or anything wrong with the heaters and as always we are delighted to replace any damaged or faulty product under our 2-year warranty. We are glad to hear the fire arrived in record time but sorry to hear the fuel took so long to arrive. Unfortunately on the odd occasion when the fires and fuel get sent out the couriers don't deliver the parcels at the same time and occasionally end up losing them as well as they did in this case. So we are sorry it took so long to try and get this rectified as our team always tries to get a replacement sent out as soon as the couriers confirm the previous one is lost. Please contact us when you need to refill on fuel and we would be delighted to offer you a special discount.

Great product and Excellent service
Excellent service, once order was placed items were delivered on time and overall we are very pleased with the product. The Fire seems to take bit longer than suggested to ignite (typically 5 to 7 minutes) but once ignited works well and looks really good. We do not have a chimney flu and this has allowed us to have a real fire in the house.

David thank you for your kind words. We are delighted to hear you are enjoying your Prime Fire 990+. We do advise that all our automatic burners can take between 2-10 minutes to start up. When the fire is not used for a while or the room is cold the process can take longer but with regular use, it should be 3-5 minutes for the typical startup sequence.
