No odour and lovey burn
No odour and lovey burn, seems to have lasted much longer than our previous brand so highly recommend this fuel. Also noted that unlike others there really is no soot, amazing product.

I can see your order was placed on the 7th of December and was dispatched on the 22nd of December. So that was well within what was indicated online. Chantico ethanol fire
Chantico tabletop ethanol fire arrived very promptly. The ethanol fuel ordered at the same time took much longer, but we were kept informed about the supply issues. It is of good quality. Decorative but will throw a little heat indoors. Attractive, lively flame produced, so it's a rather nice tabletop feature in a living room that can't house a real or gas fire. Very slight odour from the ethanol burning but not off-putting. The stones supplied blacken but clean up in the dishwasher! It's a faintly ridiculous thing, but then so am I.

The product is great and the follow up…
The product is great and the follow up service really good - just a shame the original order was placed on the basis of a 4 week delivery and it ended up taking a couple of months. However, the communication was good and I did feel they were trying to do their best to resolve the situation. So far, the fire is really efficient and warms the room well.

The fire place looks great under my TV set , the flue-less real fire adds en extremely nice ambiance , easy to install , the only issue was that it took extremely longer to deliver, but I was compensated for that, their support team answers all the time and reply back with no delays
If you planning to buy it, always use eco mode, otherwise it will use lots of bio ethanol faster

Dear Mr Campbell. We just sent you an email. TrustPilot is not a customer service forum. The parcel was dispatched to you on the 7th of December and you were provided with tracking details. DHL attempted delivery on the 14th after their service was delayed and were unable to deliver. DHL inform us the parcel is now on the way back to us. This is unfortunate and we can arrange for a new delivery to be sent out to you tomorrow but we are not entirely sure why you are using this forum and not checking the provided tracking details. We have had supply issues with our ethanol in recent months due to unprecedented order volumes but we are working on ensuring we have larger buffers in the New Year.
Delivery very slow
Delivery was very, very slow. Weeks! Ol the new pump was vastly superior to the old, but have to ask why Planika shipped such a poor pump with the original expensive fire?

Dear Tony, thank you for your review. Your pump arrived within two weeks of order. For a replacement part, we don't qualify that as very very slow. We do keep a small stock of replacement pumps in the UK and when they run out we have to wait for a restock from the factory. So we are sorry you felt that was a long time to wait. Whilst I do not know from what year your fire is our refueling pumps were updated and redesigned circa 3 years ago based on customer feedback. We always strive to improve and better our products.

I had problems with my delivery (DHL who wouldn’t get five stars) and the team at Planika couldn’t have worked harder to help me find a solution!
They stayed on to DHL and managed to force them to deliver!!! Great company..:thanks so much!

Long lead time
I understand that there were supply issues, but this was not apparent at the time of order.
The bottles that have arrived are impossible to pour without spillage. It would be good to have a matching spout similar a petrol can.

Dear Clive, thank you for your review. As per the notices on the product page we have had unprecedented demand for our Bio Ethanol fuel in recent months and lead times are longer than we would like them to be.
These bottles are designed to work with our linear fires that benefit from an automatic refuelling pump whereby the nozzle is inserted into the bottle. They are not sold to fuel any other bio ethanol fires this is why we don't provide any spout and try to minimise as much plastic as possible.
