As a first-time home buyer, I was completely clueless about what the process of purchasing a property involved. Nick, Ashley and her team from Planet Home Lending made everything so easy — she took care of every detail and guided me step by step through the entire process. She was patient, knowledgeable, and always available to answer my questions. Thanks to her, buying my first home was a smooth and stress-free experience. Buying my first home was a big milestone, and the team at planet lending made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable! From the very beginning, they were incredibly friendly, patient, and took the time to explain every detail so I always knew what was happening.

They answered all my questions (and I had a lot!) with genuine care and professionalism. Communication was excellent. I truly appreciated how they treated me like a person, not just another client. Their warmth and dedication made such a difference, and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone buying their first home or refinancing.

Fantastic experience with Frank Brandt and Jennifer Roper. They made the process so easy that it was almost too good to be true. I still can't believe how smooth everything went. They were quick to reply to questions, explained requirements wonderfully and were generally a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

Matt was very knowledgeable about the process and very patient and willing to answer many questions for us as this was our first time ever with a mortgage and also first time refinancing so it was a lot of information and he was happy to help at every step. Matt is fantastic and would be thrilled to work with him in the future.

Year one Planet Home Lending made two home insurance payments for the same policy. Put my escrow in a deficit and made no effort to correct the error. I was able to contact them and after hours on the hold was told to contact the insurance company to work it out with them.
Year two I changed insurance companies and Planet Home Loans made the insurance payment on 17 Oct for a policy that was good until 1 November. Paid it before I was able to cancel and put new policy in place. The real issue though, escrow balance was over $4,700 on 1 Oct, They made a payment of $2,520.04. They issues an Escrow advance for the $2,520.04 and sent me a letter that my escrow was short and they had advanced funds to me to pay the insurance. The insurance was not $2,520 and escrow was not and would not be short. Now trying to get anyone on the phone is impossible. I've been on hold for over 2 HOURS.

This is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever worked with. I’ve called multiple times to make payments, only for them to fail to process them correctly. The first time, they sent my husband to collections and destroyed his credit. This time, I caught their mistake before it happened again, but now I’m stuck fighting just to have a false late payment removed.

They’ve wasted so much of my time disputing something that should have been handled correctly in the first place. When I call to make a payment, I shouldn’t have to double-check that they did their job. As soon as we’re able to refinance, we will be switching companies!

I had nothing but an absolutely great experience working with Troy from Planet Home Lending. I had worked with him years before on another home loan, so I reached out again this time and I'm so glad I did. He was super responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am very picky, but he did not disappoint - he is truly amazing at what he does! Thanks so much, Troy.

Everything was fine up until we actually needed them to interact with us.
Once our home was under contract for sale, we were in the process of filing an insurance claim to have a roof replaced. The insurance company successfully sent over a check to have planet home lending to endorse it. After a 6 to 8 week period of waiting for them to review and endorse, they were supposed to send it back to us via a prepaid overnight shipping label that WE paid for to have the check come back in time for the timeline of the sale of our home.
Apparently in this process, they misplaced the check that was worth over $11,000. It will now take another three weeks for our insurance check to be reprinted, sent back to this godforsaken company for review, and ultimately delay the sale of my home because of their incompetence
I do not recommend this company, and I will be telling my friends, my family, and especially my real estate clients to avoid them like the plague.

Unlike others who might have turned me down or rejected me outright, Randy was committed to helping us find our very own home.He and his team were willing to give me the chance to become a first-generation homeowner. If I ever get the opportunity again, I would definitely do it with Randy and his team. Oh, and I can’t forget the outstanding communication I received throughout this entire journey.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. They ask for some much info, it is scary. Then, there are so many people involved in the decision making process, nobody there has a clue as to what is going on. 2 months after their "pre-approval" with a credit pull, and they are still asking for more documents to be uploaded. I would steer FAR AWAY from doing business with these clowns!!
