This scumbags have entered an ccj on my name even though they couldn’t prove what the money they were claiming was for, No proof whatsoever just relentless nonsense letters that they don’t even bother to respond to when contacted via email! Shame I can't give a 0. I told this shower that I was sleeping on the streets, and they still went ahead with getting a CCJ, when I asked them to resend all the paperwork after I managed to find somewhere to live, they refused. I'm only just managing to afford my rent, and now they've got the Court to force me to pay £100 per month. They are NOT willing to help towards a solution, they go straight to court if they don't like the offer you make them. I wonder what they'll do if I top myself and they don't get anything from me?

Despite contacting both this shower and…

Despite contacting both this shower and Lowell I am still no further forward.I informed that through citizen's advice that as far as the law was concerned the 'debt' they refer to was statute barred and that I had a right to know who the original debt was owed to, they referred me to Lowell, who in turn referred me back to this unfit outfit! I am still none the wiser to whom the original debt is apparently owed to and all they do is keep sending threatening letters, they even rang me when I was sitting in hospital awaiting surgery.I was apologised to and they abruptly hung up, only to send text messages ten minutes later!..I sincerely wish hell and all it's gory glory upon anyone who works for this disgusting unit!

COMPLETELY USELESS ITS ACTUALLY LAUGHABLE!

Been paying regular Never missed a payment Never changed the amount and then out the blue I received a letter to say it’s going forwards to the court!! I rang up overdales and they did not help at all.. yet your still taking my regular payment still… your company is messed up and not helpful one bit.. You moan when people Don’t pay and you moan when they do pay.. I’m confused by your procedures! And yes I’m expecting a generic reply on here like everyone else has!! No good saying ring your company when they don’t have a clue what there doing in the first place.. SORT IT OUT AND STOP REPLYING TO EVERYONE ON TRUST PILOT WITH GENERIC REPLYS AND HELP PEOPLE.

Bullying scumbags

Received a letter today 10th May dated 1st May stating I had until 10th May to take action in order to avoid a CCJ. I have received numerous calls and letters from both lowell and this company where I have previously disputed the debt. Called today to resolve this issue only for an attempt to be bulldozed into making a payment today to avoid further action. Attempted to set up a payment plan while I seek independent advice only to be told the amount I was offering is inadequate and to avoid further action I need to pay a higher amount each week. Rather than help they only seem interested in threatening further action, additional fees, costs and ensuring they can milk you for every penny. Made a complaint only to be informed it will take 8 weeks to get a response. Any other ethical legal firm would have allowed the 24 hours I requested to make an initial payment and would have agreed to a payment plan that was within my means. I wasn't even asked if the amount they wanted was even affordable.

Don't give debit card details

Rang this morning to make a payment over the phone. Gave my card details and then told this card would be used to make any future payments due without me even asking for that to happen. Not very ethical...

Do you help people or do you scam!?

So like everything has been ok up and till very recently , been paying to you guys for a while now money goes out the bank no problem only recently has there been issues since the initial harassment into this then i read review after review that you guys are corrupted see i was literally paid that same day within id say minutes of eachother you guys texted not after that then few days later followed by a letter you know "the harassment letters" you guys do! its genuinely distressing particularly within the cost of living crisis knowing fine well your mostly dealing with people who hardly get by Id like to add too that I've been paying you guys how long pretty sure its the same amount as when we set this up. I'm disgusted its all most like this isn't about helping people out of debt. Bet you will be like adding money on to the debts of people too its wrong. Yes there's silly people out there but even still you come for those who have not a lot to live off no one offers anything to help anyone in a rut due to due debt i mean my story of how i got into this position is crazy no support no nothing just everyone has to pay up I'm sorry but you guys rob people. This ain't it over dales!

Fuming!!!

I've contacted them on April 9th after receiving their letter with documentation confirming I am with StepChange however no response. They have now sent it to County Court. FUMING! Why have a contact email if you don't check or respond????

Same scamming party belonging to Lowell…

*UPDATE* Now being dealt with by Vikki Hoyle and Denzel Binns - both of whom seem too busy playing the company's Fantasy Football league to deal with people. Funnily enough team name is 'Data Privacy Outlaws' which sums up Overdales and Lowell's approach to using your data without your permission.

LEGAL ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN - STOP HARASSING PEOPLE!

Same scamming party belonging to Lowell Portfolio - persuing a debt which their own client has confirmed is not in my name,

Watch out - Overdales will take legal action on behalf of Lowell (*same company*) - make a counter claim and they back down and ask you to retract it and pay less.

Utter fraudulent bunch with ZERO ability to resolve on behalf of their clients. Ceased my contract with their client today after £10k and 10 years of being a customer due to their constant harassment and behaviour.

Communication with Overdales Solicitors.

Just been contacted by Overdales who use a number which flagged up as ‘negative’ on ‘who called ne’ 114 times. Why are Lowell’s using a body as representative of themselves which uses a ‘questionable’ phone number as a means of contact. Lowell’s have Bern looking to chase funds from me fir over the past 6 years, and I had requested more than once, that they send me a written breakdown of whxt is owed on my outstanding Sky account. Sky handed my account to them over 6 years ago, when I had been in a vulnerable situation & unable to keep up with my debts. Without being able to tel me what was owed on my account, they quickly handed my account to Lowell’s, even following a request for Sky to advise me on what was owed, as my vulnerable situation also meant that I had been freed to give up my property under social housing after 15 years, and at the time I was in debt with Sky, I had been experiencing PTSD, mental health issues, anxiety and depression- also as asinine mother on benefit. I had left my property mid way through my contract with Sky who have never told me in detail what is owed on the account, and at the time what was still owed for the remainder of the contract with them. I contacted Overdales today to say that based on their number being listed under a negative review 114 times, txt I would not be prepared to discuss anything concerning my personal data as financial situation, even with a view to them retrieving payment within the next 30 days to avoid court action. Lowell’s are well aware of my vulnerable situation, as I am now on Universal Credit. I have told Overdales to do what they need to in terms of negotiating with their client, even in terms of the conversation we has by phone. But bottom line is if I need to discuss payment of my deb. So, to coin an age old term, I basically told Overdales; ‘I will deal with the organ grinder, & not the ‘monkey’ “ also as I know about data protection, and I am well versed on the subject, having a background in customer service over the last 10 years. I know my legal right to protect my own data and interests as regards this. Overdales mitigation, when confronted about their number being flagged up as ‘negative’ was ‘that as a trusted body’. Give me any cold calling or fraudulent scam company out there, that when confronted wouldn’t also claim; “We are a trusted body’. Even if they do profess to bring part of the Lowell’s group. There are too many financially vulnerable people & families being targeted out there through both illicit & legal means by conpanies not only scamming people out of their finances, but also in the business of retrieving ‘outstanding debts’, therefore leaving these people at the mercy of intimidatory methods, that are completely unwarranted in the current climate - with most companies still exercising a ‘because we can’ and a ‘one size fits all’ regime & approach to how they attempt to retrieve payment from vulnerable people, and in a cost of living crisis where in a daily basis there more people fighting to stay in even rented accommodation, fighting and losing their battles to keep a roof over their kids heads, let alone being able to feed & clothe their kids. Please Lowell’s, in future stop sending correspondence via your apparent representative to my Mothers address & have the professionalism to communicate with me directly - not via a third party who uses a questionable phone number as a means to communicate with your clients on your behalf. If you have concern guys, and those reading this, please, checkout ‘who called me’ before you are drawn into a conversation with Ovrdales Solicitors. Think about your own protection before being drawn into security checks & communication with these guys. The law also says you have a right to protect your own data, and for companies to respect this, no matter your financial situation. Be ‘savvy’ not silly & don’t leave yourself vulnerable to intimidation.

Well I have just received a letter today demanding money I have never heard of this company I do know there are apart of lowells debt company but they asking for money from bt that I do not owe seems like its all generic nonsense to me maybe they should contact bt and find out the correct information and please feel free to take me to court if you want but one thing I do know is that no company like you will bully someone like me

This is in addition to the last review I sent. This company could not go any lower. We set up a SO for the amount agreed only for the money not to be taken putting us in a default position (went onto your site and paid this instalment) only to find that the plan was set up then cancelled on the same day which I believe is a passive agressive tactic to get us to default so you can try and get full amount. Revolting behaviour.

OK so I put a complaint in about this company and here's the outcome. Absolutely nothing like I expected apparently the staff didn't add my email address so this is why I was ignored. All they were interested in was I kept making my payments the fact I hadn't slept, etc didn't count for a thing. This company is horrible and we are stuck because we have to pay no matter what. Their behaviour can go unchecked just as long as you keep paying. Disgusting

Today I have made a payment for £269

Today I have made a payment for £269, money that I do not owe. It's not about the money, I can afford to pay, the problem with this firm one of stupidity, they do not listen. I have paid to avoid a CCJ and have simply given up following countless letters going back to 2017. Well done Overdales, you have my money.

I've been receiving messages from this company claiming I need to resolve a debt, but they have my number in their system without my knowledge. Despite my efforts to contact them, they confirmed that the name associated with my number isn't mine but refused to disclose who is using my contact details. I want to raise awareness about this scam and the rude behavior of the people involved.
