Knowledgeable and friendly driving instructor
Chris was a great driving instructor, made me feel very comfortable very quickly. He had very good knowledge of my test area and helped me practice challenging routes. By the time I got to my driving test I was feeling confident, which helped me pass first time. I would highly recommend him as an instructor.

I switched to an auto and passed in Less that a week
It was an amazing experience once it was done right, my poor instructor was against the odds from the start with only having less than a week to get me through we switched out to an auto license and I couldn't be happier, if you need a patient instructor Shazia the the one for you she was absolutely lovely and amazing

I had a great experience talking to Yad…
I had a great experience talking to Yad about available intensive courses.
Had was extremely helpful with availability and went out of his way to accommodate my coming test date, which made the whole process much less stressful and reassuring me that the hours I am looking for are the right number to help me pass my test as him himself has 20+ experience as as a driving instructor.
He also kindly offered me a discount code for booking an intensive course, which I really appreciated.
Yad communication was clear and friendly, and he made everything easy to arrange from the start. I’d definitely recommend Yad to anyone looking for a supportive, person oriented and friendly instructor to help them book an intensive driving course.

1 star is too much for this company…
1 star is too much for this company Awful, my daughter was cancelled on for 10 hours of lessons and she paid for 20 and failed because of it
The instructor was awful and told her to pull out at roundabout when a car was coming and lucky she said no I can’t go and didn’t hardly show her and parking or technical just driving. Awful we are complaining and I expecting money back

We are sorry to hear that Jessica was disappointed with the outcome of her driving test. We understand that an unsuccessful result can be upsetting; however, it is not accurate to attribute the result to the instructor.
Jessica completed at least 17.5 hours of tuition and was taken to her driving test by Michael. At no point during the course of her lessons did she raise any concerns regarding the quality of the instruction she was receiving.
Unfortunately, during the test the examiner had to take control of the steering wheel, which results in an automatic fail. This decision is made by the examiner based on safety considerations and is not related to the instructor’s tuition.
In addition, there were several lessons cancelled by Jessica. As per our policy, cancelled lessons are chargeable when they fall outside the required notice period.
Given that no concerns were raised during the course of the lessons and the complaint has only been made after the unsuccessful test, we do not believe the request for a refund is justified.
We therefore do not accept that the failure was due to Michael’s instruction and consider the complaint to be unfounded.

Avoid scam i booked intensive driving…
Avoid scam i booked intensive driving course for my son the first week in January and was told they could get me a practical test March. I paid nearly 600 was told I’d pay driving instructor 400 odd and was then sent a test for 10th June. What was I paying nearly £600 for could just booked a test for June myself. Was given Sonny as driving instructor who didn’t make contact when I contacted him to ask if it was scam he said no it’s a slow process at the min so what was I paying for. I paid extra to have my son put on cancellation list and haven’t heard nothing. I asked sonny what if I get a cancellation can you fit my son in for 15 hours lessons I’d booked he said with a few weeks notice he can so now we in March reality hitting we ain’t getting a test for March and if we do sonny can’t fit him in. I also asked for refund on cancellation tracker as seems no one has placed my son on any tracker and was told I’d get 60 pound refunded if he didn’t get cancellation so what is other 500 I’ve paid for!!!!! This company needs to be reported to watch dog!!!!!!!

To clarify generally, the fee paid to National Intensive covers the organisation of the course, securing a practical test and arranging a suitable instructor. Test dates are issued based on DVSA availability, which can be limited in some areas. Cancellation services aim to obtain an earlier test where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed as stated in the T&Cs that were agreed to beforehand.

Great instructor and passed first time.
The instructor that National intensive linked me up with was really great and I passed my test first time. It was very nice to have all the booking of the test handled for me. The cancellation tracker was totally ineffective. It also became clear that this service does take a lot off of the top compared to the cost of just booking it yourself. I mainly used the service because I wanted a test faster and was aiming for December 25 and I didn't actually get one until March 26. They did provide a refund for the cancellation tracker and were generally helpful with enquiries.
