Many thanks for your review. All of our courses are booked on estimated completion dates only and we never make any promises or guarantee dates. Our cancellation checker actively searches every 5-15 minutes for sooner dates and is successful at finding many tests per day. I would not recommend this company for…

I would not recommend this company for multiple reasons, mainly that no cancellation was found and I took a test in standard waiting times. I also has a driving instructor who refused to provide dates that we could start lessons and spoke in circles. It was an aweful experience considering the money i was charged. The only saving grace to this whole experience was my newly appointed driving instructor, Shazia, who was so kind and patient. This was after I had already raised my concerns multiple times. I'm not impressed with the service that was provided at all and would warn anyone else against using them. Shazia you were lovely, but the company is deeply flawed.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience, although we would like to clarify a few important points.

Firstly, practical test cancellations unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. The nature of a cancellation checking service is that it relies entirely on test slots being released by other candidates or by the DVSA. While we continuously search for earlier dates, there is no way for any company to confirm when or if a cancellation will become available.

Part of the delay in your course also occurred when you requested a change of instructor, which required us to source and allocate a new instructor in your area. Instructor availability can vary, and arranging a replacement can sometimes add additional time while we coordinate schedules.

That said, we are very pleased to hear your positive feedback about Shazia, and we will certainly pass your kind comments on to her. We’re glad she was able to provide a supportive and patient learning experience once assigned.

We do take customer feedback seriously and are always working to improve our service. However, it is important to note that test availability and cancellations are controlled by the DVSA, and these factors are outside of our control.

Find a instructor yourself! Save £££

I'm friends with a couple people who had intensive courses through this business. Breaking down the costs, one was paying £70 per hour and the other £55 per hour. But the instructors own rate was only £37-40 per hour.
Just do the work yourself and find a instructor on your own and save a ton of money!
Don't give a passive agreesive reply please, cause I ain't going to read it, sorry! There's just no way you can justify charging that much for simply getting a student in contact with a random local instructor.

Firstly, we do have every right to respond in order to clarify inaccurate claims made about our business.

We do not agree with the assumptions in your review. The cost of an intensive course is not simply calculated by splitting the total price by the number of hours booked, so the hourly calculations you have suggested are incorrect. Our course pricing includes a range of operational costs such as VAT, administration, booking systems, customer support, instructor coordination, test booking services, and instructor top-up payments where required, among other overheads involved in running the service.

We also work with a large network of independent instructors and ensure lessons, test bookings, and course scheduling are organised for the customer. The service we provide goes beyond simply “putting someone in contact with a random instructor,” and includes the coordination and management required to deliver an intensive course.

Customers are, of course, free to book lessons directly with an instructor if they prefer. Our service is designed for those who want a structured intensive course with administrative support, test booking assistance, and course management included.

We are always happy to clarify how our services work, but it is important that information shared publicly about our business reflects the full picture rather than assumptions about how pricing is structured.

National Intensive stole my money

National Intensive stole my money.

I paid National Intensive over 400 for the services of booking my driving test, rental car for the test, driving lessons prior to the test and the cancellation checker to book my test. I paid them in September and they estimated that the test would be booked by November. By January my theory test expired and the company failed to provide any of the stated services. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the company is required to provide a refund for services not performed in a reasonable time frame. The National Intensive provided an estimate of completion of 2 months from time of purchased and failed to book anything over double that amount of time. I contacted National Intensive and they were rude and unprofessional in tone and pointed me to their terms of service. Their view is that because when I paid them they "assigned a driver" to my account and that their role is complete and no refund is due. This to me is a scan. No service was provided and no refund was given. While National Intensive might provide legitimate business services to other people, they scammed me and are rude and uncooperative. I thoroughly regret ever paying them and would highly recommend others to NEVER work with them.

Response to National Intensive comment:
You are factually incorrect regarding the expiration of my theory test. It expired 26 Jan 2026 and I paid you in late September. You estimated you would have the test booked by 25 November and I provided double the amount of time than what you estimated. (This was removed in National Intensive edit).

Your staff was not “abrupt” they were rude. They attempted to intimidate me from escalating this matter to small claims court which is my right. You are a dishonest company.

You keep emphasizing it is not your fault the DVSA did not post more slots. If you read the above that is not my issue. My issue is I paid you to book the test AND provide driving lessons. You provided neither service. In effect I have paid for nothing, akin to stealing. Your terms claim that the service you are on the hook for is “assigning a driver” and I think this is a dishonest way to run your business and avoid ever having to take responsibility for your inability to provide a service.

At no point is it our intention to mislead or withhold services, and we strongly refute any suggestion of dishonesty.

We also take concerns about staff conduct very seriously. Intimidation or rudeness is not something we tolerate, and this does not align with how our team is trained to communicate. That said, we are sorry if any interaction came across that way, as this was not our intention.

As outlined in our terms and conditions, the service we provide involves coordinating and assigning instructors and sourcing test availability, both of which are dependent on external factors. We understand this can be frustrating, particularly when time constraints such as theory test expiry dates are involved.

In these circumstances, we offer a free theory test resit, which we cover, to place you in a better position for obtaining a practical test date and activating our cancellation checker service. Unfortunately, we have so far been unable to proceed with this due to a lack of engagement/response, which has prevented us from moving things forward.

We genuinely regret that you feel dissatisfied and would welcome the opportunity to review your case again and work toward a fair resolution. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can look into this further.

Funniest replies to read, they’re all so rude😂 the company are so unprofessional watch them reply to this one with the most passive aggressive response. Staff are unprofessional and rude and all the reviews under this explain why. Do not waste your money with this company

It’s interesting that you’re criticising professionalism while commenting under an anonymous posting. Most of the replies here are simply responding to claims that were made without any context or accountability.

We’re certainly not rude, and we take pride in providing good customer service, which we consistently strive to maintain and improve. If someone has a genuine concern, the best approach is always to contact us directly so we can look into it properly and resolve it.

Posting anonymously and encouraging people not to use a business without any verifiable details doesn’t really give a fair or accurate picture. Anyone reading the thread is welcome to make their own judgement.
