You sold my domain to some vietnamese poker page so they could blackmail me for selling back domain for some crazy amount of money. I had this domain for several years so it was registered to the email I am not using anymore. No phonecall, no alternative warning about risk. I thought its all going with automated renewal rules. I was broke on that moment and you faild. I cannot trust you anymore and I will advise everyone to avoid you at all cost. Fully deserved 1*. Miserable...

Efficient, friendly service
Friendly service (after a bit of a wait but nothing drastic). Kyle quickly made the changes to the account and found a package that simplified our lives and saved a couple of hundred pounds over the next year or two - what's not to like?

Terrible company using the old auto renew excuse to whip money out your bank and not refund it.
I bought a service for a year. Categorically did not click auto renew unless it was pre ticked on the form as it was only a business concept we were considering. We didnt start it moved on and forgot about that. I did have a cpl of emails from them which I ignored as I didnt want to renew as I was busy.
They then swiped £74 out of my account without my knowledge or permission. I called them straight away only for them to tell me they had given my money to someone else and they needed to ask for it back. JUST AVOID THIS COMPANY ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. The member of staff i spoke to was the smarmiest little sub human Iv ever had to talk to in my life.

'Not our problem' technical support
Good on sales, terrible on technical support. I've been a Namesco/Simplynames customer for 25 years and until 2025 was very happy with the service. Something's changed in the technical team that means they are becoming increasingly dismissive of requests for help and, most frequently, give one line answers that in so many words say 'not our problem'. After nearly 12 months of continual disappointment in the level of technical support, I'm moving my services elsewhere.

Having an absolute nightmare with this company
Having an absolute nightmare with this company. They locked me out of my account because I was abroad. My subscription lapsed whilst I was trying to contact them - they don't have an email address, they don't respond to facebook or instagram messages and they leave you hanging on hold at international call rates for an unacceptably long time. When they finally answered the phone they told me that because my subscription had lapsed they wanted to charge me almost three times the amount to renew my subscription. They refuse to accept that I was unable to renew because they had locked me out of the system and were not replying to messages or answering the phone. To be fair the customer service guy was really helpful and agreed that I should pay standard price - however, his boss over-ruled and is still trying to extort a hugely inflated rate to allow me access to my emails. Grrrrr!
Regarding the reply: Lots of meaningless sorry but no offer to make it right. Also telling customers they can change the settings in the control panel they have just been locked out of, is classic blame shift with a dash of refusal to understand the core problem. You locked me out, I couldn't pay and now you want me to pay more than double because of your mistakes. Jog the F on with your "computer says no" attitide and make it right. Whilst, I'm waiting for my emails to arrive I will be seeking out every significant angle of reputation damage I can manage to inflict on your tiresomely unreasonable company. I'm usually pretty good at it, so maybe damage limitation by doing the right thing fast might be "a keep your job" level of good idea 🤔
