They don't respond, dodgy avoid

I am at a loss for words and in tears as I write this. If you don't want to read my rant below, just move along and find another place to donate. Otherwise keep reading.

I donated for a well in 2021 and have gone back and forth looking for an update since then. Its always a run around of "someone will get back to you via phone or email." In the 3.5 years i have only received 4 replies to my 30+ emails. Mid May, I received an email claiming that they are trying to expedite the well but are running into issues in Bangladesh. After a very uncomfortable phone call on June 1st, I received another email claiming now that the well was completed in March of 2024. The image is clearly photoshopped, and I don't know what to do with myself. I am heartbroken that there are people in the organization posing as true muslims while they scam their muslim brothers and sisters. There is no place in jenneh for people like this. never again.

I donated money for a well and never got feedback on it. After multiple attempts to contact was sent a digitally altered photo of “my well”. They have denied any further requests and have not sent evidence to prove otherwise after months of asking for it. DO NOT DONATE TO THIS ORGANIZATION, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF IT. Shame on them.

This organizatoin is a scam. stay away.

I tried to wait not to falsly accuse you and left this website as a last hope to get your attention, but Its been 2 months I am waiting for a response over a
"FAKE photoshopped water well picture with a fake edited name on a stone written digitally!"
and when I asked for another picture to verify they promised after 1 week and I never got a response again.

Donate to any other oraganization. Shame on people using the religion to scam people. I dont forgive you for it If you really scam people for a living.

Shame Shame Muslim Hands.Muslim Hands they lie that they help people's in needs and even provide free food from their open kitchen.This is not true they can give you free advice and tell you where to go and how to raise your children's for free but won't give you free food because they think you're lying. In Islam if you're doing charity you're no spouse to ask which religion or country you're from.Islam teaches you to help anyone without giving free advice.
If you don't have humanity please close this charity. As being a good Muslim I am ashamed to call Muslim Hands fake and rude people. 👎 👃 👎 👃

I received an email yesterday thanking me for my £20 donation. I had never heard of this charity or ever donated too it. Yet the money came out of my bank account.. BEWARE of this charity.

I have donated money in 2022 to Muslim Hands for two tube wells to be built in Bangladesh. After months of constant calls to Muslims Hands they have built it in 2024 in the month of ramadan. Just to let you know Muslim Hands has never updated me with anything, I had to make calls for updates. If I did not make these numerous calls Muslim Hands would have not built it and would have pocketed my money.
 
In 2023 the reason Muslim Hands had given me for the delay in building the tube wells is they claim they had an issue in Bangladesh, and cannot build the tube wells at the moment. I have other family members who donated to other Muslim charities during the same time as me and tube wells have been built in Bangladesh, proven with photos, location and certificate.
 
In 2024 I was told by Minaz I will be provided with a refund, surprise, no refund received.
 
Muslim Hands have told me they cannot provide me a refund due to them having legal issues with the UK Charity Commission. This is a Muslim Hands issue, this is not my issue. Muslim Hands do not update you at all whatsoever, you have to call them frequently, but giving you false promises. Muslim Hands have now said they will build a tube well.

Once it was built Maheda could not even send me the report after our phone call, I had to make further calls to receive my report.

The prolonged delay in installation has been disconcerting and has caused inconvenience.

My trust in the organization has been shaken by the lack of communication and transparency.

I have requested a Subject Access Request, which I would like to see all communications between Muslim Hands and the contractors in Bangladesh. You can do this on the Information Commissioners Office website. However, I have not received anything as of yet from Muslim Hands.

You can also log a complain on the Government website and click on complain about a charity.

In 2022 Muslim Hands completed a mosque that me and my mother built in rural Pakistan, this Ramadan (2024) my mother wanted to do Iftar at the mosque which I requested from Muslim Hands.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Taukir Iqbal who helped co-ordinate this operation to success. We were able to feed a lot of people and were very very emotionally moved by the personalised message from the mosque imam.

We had set out expectations early on dates and Taukir was able to advise really well on our options for food. Communication was smooth and we had no hiccups.

Insha'Allah I'm looking forward to continue working with Muslim Hands and look forward to dealing with Taukir Iqbal for more projects!

I have built a water well next to a Masjid on behalf of my late mother in Niger, Alhamdulilah received feedback report from the Major Giving team and I got happy to see the people are using water for drinking and for the wudu, May Allah (SWT) reward my mother and Muslim Hands team heavily, Ameen!

Watch out they are scammers.

They’re scammers and frauds! I donated 7 wells TWO years ago! Not only did they not complete this but they kept my money! I had to call them 5 times a day for almost a month to speak to the “right” person who was meant to give me a call back every time I rang! Then eventually they said they will give me a refund but it’s been another month and they’ve still not given my money back! For them to call themselves a Muslim charity is a disgrace and hope they know Allah sees and knows everything they’re doing! They’re upsetting people, stealing of people! I don’t know how they can sleep at night honestly! May Allah SWT deal with them accordingly. Honestly if it was a little bit of money I would have let it go but £2,000 is a lot of money and they stole it off me! Disgusting and sick people.

I sponsored an orphan in March 2024. It's almost a year now and I haven't received any feedback from Muslim Hands regarding my sponsored orphan. I tried giving a gift, but the orphan's ID is non-existant.

It was only after I made a donation for a tube well a few days ago did I realise that I've made the worst mistake. I could have given the money elsewhere

No update for tube well donations
from 8 July 2022 for tube well donation in Bangladeshi and
2 tube wells in Kashmir India on 11 April 2023 also I did not get any update
And till now Mid Jan 2024 and there is no update at all and no reply to any of my calls or emails. So this is not trusted charity any more.

I have donated to this charity for many years and I also sponsor an orphan in Bangladesh through them. I have had regular school reports over the years and updates on my orphans. I have also had a tube well built, and though it took some time, a photo was sent and an update report provided showing the well and our family name and donation number. I have also donated for an Aqiqa, I did not mind which country, and it was performed a few weeks later in Sudan and a photo showing the name, date and beneficiaries of who was fed was given. Over the years the reporting has been very good. I hope this charity continues its good work.

I have to this charity once and haven't heard anything from them until this year and they rang me out of the blue while I was at work to ask for a donation for Gaza .
They didn't sound professional he had the tv or game on in the background and he was eating down the phone .
Sounded like it a bunch of school kids prank calling someone .
Was abrupt and didn't sound friendly at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS .
From a google search I've seen there has been tones of charities Muslim hands also investigated for fraud. So please becareful do your research.

Done my sons akiqa here sadly. They forgot about it. After emailing them for 2 months, and getting ignored. I got told it was done few days ago. Had I not emailed them constantly they would have kept the money and not done the akiqa. Do not trust them with your money. This is a charity. They are scammers. Avoid.

I gave my charity on 14th October 2023 i didn’t get receipt or confirmation from them, i called today so many times they don’t bother to pick up the phone, on 16th October 2023 and asked about receipt or confirmation they sent me an email saying we’ll let you know.
I sent them an email to get my refund and I’ll give it to someone. Let’s see what do they’ll reply.

Not trusted company
* The water well in Bangladesh is not done for 2 years now. And they said we have problem there. So where is the money.
* the community wells are not deep as described in the web also it is very primitive some using robes to get the water by Water bucket or by pump.
* lack of communication and update could take 2-3 year and confusing.
* the customer login disappear from the web so the donors can not check their donations and projects.
* locations for Masjids are in very rural and isolated areas and have very few beneficiaries it

Kurds are an ethnic minority in Syria mostly Muslims and subjected to genocidal attacks by extremist groups funded by Turkey. Afrin is a Kurdish city occupied by Turkey and allied extremist groups that transformed it into an extremist terror camp. Many ISIS leaders killed by either USA or Russia in this region. This so called charity trying to build houses on the stolen Kurdish land for their extremist friends. Should not be allowed!
