Open Kitchen
Hi, Just want to start off by saying a big thank you to Nottingham Open Kitchen Imran/Zak & team, could not recommend enough. Has been an absolute major help to my place of work. Housing for up to twenty-one residents. The open kitchen has welcomed and provided meals for all the residents throughout the week. We are extremely grateful for the kindness and thoughtful offerings. Service users struggle to afford daily meals with little money they have so "Open Kitchen Nottingham" really have given hope with their very generous charitable help.
Hi Guys at the open Kitchen
Hi Guys at the open Kitchen, just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for sending us the meals you make, they all taste beautiful and are cooked to perfection. The residents we have here don’t have much, if anything at all and see this as I life line if they are struggling to afford food. All the food you have sent today has been eaten by the residents and they also want me to thank you for being so thoughtful and making such delicious food
Thanks Again
Pete
Myself and my family members have…
Myself and my family members have donated for various projects with Muslim Hands, and have found them to be very reliable and trust worthy. For years I have sponsored children, and always I will receive prompt yearly reports for these children. Recently i had a query regarding one of my sponsored orphans, the member if staff there, was very helpful, looked into everything again very promptly, keeping me informed via email, very impressed alhumdullilah. We have had water wells, olive trees planted, in Ramadan we have donated towards the quran recital, donated towards the Masjid Al Aqsa speaker system etc, always receiving prompt feedback. So overall extremely satisfied with Muslim Hands and more than happy to recommend them to family and friends.
I had a wonderful experience with them
I had a wonderful experience with them. Quite responsive and keeps you updated with everything. May Allah bless them and keep their good work.
Terrible working environment
Muslim Hands is the worse organization to work for. Colleagues are unfriendly and they have attitude with people who ask for assistance. Managers treat staff poorly.Disgusting for Muslims! They work each other out of the organization. To the dozens of people who worked there and left because of being bullied!!!. Countless people. What a shame. You need to close down.Donors will soon learn to know what you are doing!!!
Fraudulent Charity
Please do not give your money to this charity. I have made numerous calls and sent emails regarding a large amount of money given for the Alaqsa lighting project . No responses and they just fob you off. I have in the past given money to for so many projects but unfortunately will not be giving muslim hands anything. This charity doesn't even deserve 1* I would give it zero.
Supporting Muslim Hands for Years – Always Impressed
I've been supporting Muslim Hands for many years, and I can confidently say they are one of the most honest and trustworthy charities out there. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been handled with professionalism and politeness, which really makes a difference when you’re choosing who to donate through.
What truly sets them apart is the amazing work they do around the world. Their projects are impactful and well thought out, and you can genuinely see the positive difference they’re making in people’s lives.
I recently donated towards a tube well, and I was so impressed by the follow-up. I received a detailed report that included clear information and photos, showing exactly how the donation was used and who it benefitted. It was respectful, transparent, and incredibly encouraging to see the outcome.
I highly recommend Muslim Hands to anyone looking to give through a reliable and sincere organization.
Muslims Hands is my go to charity for…
Muslims Hands is my go to charity for many years. Excellent charity that I have contributed to several building charity projects. They have always been good in feedback in delivery of those projects.
5 year stellar track record
For over 5 years Muslim Hands has been a charity that we trust and recommend to others for their sadqah, zakah and donations. There are a variety of options such as planting olive trees, feeding the poor, sacrifice, building wells. Feedback is timely, and they always respond to queries and follow ups. Even during covid 19 all donations were completed for wells in their respective locations with authentic feedback reports and customised plaques. Since my experience has always been seamless, I do recommend this charity to friends and family and they have been satisfied.
When donating to different countries and locations please keep in mind that operations differ in global locations.
On one occasion a feedback report went to a junk mail option for a relative, however on follow-up it was retrieved within the hour and all timeliness for well completion were on cue. So ensure you check the junk mail option in the case you have not recieved confirmation.

Excellent Experience with Muslim Hands – Trustworthy and Transparent
I strongly disagree with the negative reviews on Muslim Hands' Trustpilot page. In early February, I received an email about the well I had donated to, and, like others, I had concerns about the legitimacy of the donation due to the bad reviews. I was also a little skeptical about the photo of the well that was attached to the email, so I requested a video to ensure the well was genuine. I’m happy to say that after just 10 days, I received several pictures and a video confirming the well’s authenticity. I'm very satisfied with my experience and feel confident in supporting Muslim Hands.

I am deeply disappointed to see some Muslims here casting doubt on the work of Muslim Hands. After reading the negative reviews, I became concerned about the three water pumps I had funded. However, a year later, I received pictures of the wells without even asking for them. Despite this, I noticed claims here that the images were photoshopped. To address my concerns, I reached out to Muslim Hands and requested videos and additional proof. Within just one week, they provided me with everything I needed to feel reassured about their integrity and efforts.
Muslim Hands is doing an incredible job, and considering their resources and the scale of their work, it’s natural that some challenges may arise. However, I firmly believe they are a trustworthy and reliable organization. Inshallah, I will continue supporting them in the future.
Fraudulent Charity!!
I regret having to write this, but this charity doesn’t even deserve one star—if I could, I would give it negative stars. I am beyond upset and angry at the way I’ve been lied to by Muslim Hands, a charity I once trusted deeply. Over the years, I’ve had several tube wells built through them which I now have doubts about and even recommended them to my friends and family. However, my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel completely let down by an organisation I believed in.
When my grandad passed away in February 2022, I donated to have a community well built in his name. Their website stated that this process usually takes 9–12 months, which I was happy with. I trusted the charity to handle this, and initially, I had no concerns. But once a year had passed and I still hadn’t received any updates or reports, I reached out to them. That’s when everything started to unravel.
My first contact with the charity was met with a vague response. They told me they weren’t sure why the report hadn’t been sent and promised to pass my query on to the wells department, who would send me the report as soon as possible. I was understanding at this point—delays can happen, and I wasn’t in a rush. I assumed they would follow through. However, weeks went by, and I still didn’t receive anything. I contacted them again, only to be told the same thing. Weeks turned into months, and I found myself constantly chasing them, only to be fobbed off time and time again.
This cycle of empty promises and delays continued for months. Every time I called, I was given the same assurances, yet no action was ever taken. I had to repeatedly explain my situation, and it became clear that no one was taking my concerns seriously. They simply brushed my complaints under the carpet and did nothing to resolve the issue.
After months of frustration, I demanded to speak to someone in charge, as it was clear the regular staff weren’t capable of handling this. I was put through to someone named Maheda in the wells department, who promised to investigate and contact the team in Niger, where the well was supposedly being built. She assured me that she would call me back by the end of the week. Unsurprisingly, I received no call back and had to chase her again myself.
When I finally got through to her, she claimed that poor weather conditions had delayed the team from travelling to the well to take photos for the report. This excuse had already been given to me previously, but I chose to believe her and waited again. Yet again, no report was sent, and no follow-up call was made. This process of constant chasing, broken promises, and lack of action dragged on for over a year.
Eventually, I contacted the charity through their WhatsApp number and email, explaining my frustrations in detail and requesting a callback. They apologised and asked for my details, which I provided, along with a specific time to call me. As expected, no one called me back, so I had to reach out yet again.
I was then put in touch with Minaz, another member of the wells department, who listened to my concerns and tried to assist. He told me he would contact the team in Niger immediately and get back to me. He did call me back the next day and informed me that the well was complete, and the report would be sent by the following week. Finally, I felt like I might be making progress. But, once again, the promised report never arrived.
After more chasing, Minaz sent me an email with a photo of what he claimed was the name plaque for the well. To my shock, the plaque had the wrong name and the wrong year on it (2021 instead of 2022). It felt as though they had recycled a plaque from an old well to try and appease me. This was extremely upsetting, and it raised serious doubts about whether the well had even been built at all.
When I finally received the "report" for the well, I couldn’t believe what I saw. The pictures in the report looked fake, and the well appeared to be photoshopped. The plaque in the photos still had the wrong year on it which confirmed my suspicions that they were trying to deceive me. At this point I realised I had been lied to all along.
This entire experience has left me heartbroken and disgusted. It is appalling that a charity would treat its donors with such disrespect, especially when the donation was made in memory of a loved one. I trusted Muslim Hands, but they have completely betrayed that trust. It is horrifying to think how many other people they may have lied to and how many donations might not have been used as promised.
I will never donate to Muslim Hands again, and strongly advise others to do their research before choosing to donate to any charity. This experience has been deeply distressing. Muslim Hands, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Lying to donors and mishandling charitable funds is unforgivable!
Me and my friends put money together…
Me and my friends put money together towards a Well for my friend who had passed on last year Allah yerhamha. I contacted the company for an update and have been fob around for the last month. I have not yet received an update nor a photo of the well.
However looking at the reviews now I wish I had donated elsewhere. Very disappointing.
