We currently operate 125 buses across 50 routes through Sussex, Surrey and Kent. We provide urban services in Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead, Redhill and Reigate. We operate the hugely popular 24-7 Fastway service. Fastway is a partnership that includes West Sussex County Council, Surrey County Council, Crawley Borough Council and Gatwick Airport. Fastway links Crawley to Horley, serving Gatwick Airport. Fastway uses dedicated lanes, guideways and traffic light priorities to improve reliability.

I forgot my bag

I forgot my bag on a bus and I thought id never find it again so I called the metro bus support and got it back the nextbday.

new 500 route

This new 500 service is great tried it on1/6/26/ ,Just two things I would like 1 in Eastbourne a depart time of 09.30.as I had to delay my trip a hour, as a OAP. and 2 if I had a suite case there are no racks that I have seen. they have them on the Croydon to Heathrow bus! Looking forward to my next trip.

i lost my wallet few weeks ago on a bus…

i lost my wallet few weeks ago on a bus the man who was in the Redhill bus station office Phil who is usually based in Crawley lost property but was helping out at Redhill bus station that weekend , he was very helpful asked for my telephone number and he would check if driver of bus i was on would hand it in if found and he would ring me. one hour later i got the call to say it had been handed in by driver, ! Phil was very helpful and caring ie!took the time to listen ,
and thoughtfully said he would telephone me , a perfect gentleman. thank you Phil .

The two gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks Phil who made extra effort to look up my list item although I had no reference given to me when I was called.

Even when their bus smashes into a lamp…

Even when their bus smashes into a lamp post, shattering glass all over the inside of the bus, with the driver not bothering to check on passengers, apologise, provide assistance, forcing people to walk home do they feel it is appropriate to refund your ticket. Absolute joke of a company with a monopoly on serve in the Crawley area so really don’t care.

Contacted the company directly, by email, querying bus routes. So nice to receive a reply from a human , Jennita, who explained the route and times I needed.

Metro Bus service, forever grateful for the service and lots of gratitude 🙏

Hi Team,

I Would like to thank a lot for the Metro bus department for helping in getting a lost item back to anyone who have lost there property and I had lost 3 passport
my family's where we came for vacation and it was terrifying moment.
I called Metro bus support and they helped in confirming that they have been reported on lost item from driver.
Thanks a ton to the driver who was operating bus number 6121 on 26th May 2026 @ 8:30 am to 9:30am
And also Phil who helped me at travel desk Crawley in handing over my belongings

Reunited with phone lost on 15th May

I recently lost my phone on 15th May and was relieved to be reunited with it on 20th May thanks to Metrobus’s lost and found service. It’s great to know they have a system in place where lost items can be handed in and safely returned to their owners.

Throughout the entire process, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. I really appreciate the effort and care shown, and I’m very grateful to have my phone back.
