My bus was cancelled by Metro. I was told I had to call myself to request a refund. This was very inconvenient as a foreign traveler. Based on this experience, I won’t use Metro again.

Hello,
I took metro line 4 from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport while staying in Istanbul. Unfamiliar with the Istanbul metro system, I trusted your travel agency to get me there. However, I discovered that your agency charges exorbitant prices to tourists. I asked for a single-ride ticket and found out I was actually paying for a pass valid for only one day. After asking around, I realized it was a scam.

Honestly, the worst bus operators you can travel with. I had the misfortune to travel from Sanliurfa to Yozgat using a Metro bus service. The staff were rude and would make unscheduled stops to transfer goods to unmarked vans on the side of the road. Sometimes these stops would last nearly an hour as they would wait for the van to arrive. I've travelled with them a few times now (out of necessity) and the drivers and hosts are almost always arrogant, rude and drive recklessly.
If there is an alternative, do not travel with Metro!

DO NOT USE Metro Turizm, you will be regretting the guy at Gerome bus station must be fired he has Incredibly rude customer service at Goreme Metro office. No notifications that bus was cancelled till we arrived at the office, said bus has been cancelled although the bus was still on schedule he refused my ticket which I booked online through obilet and ask me to give him cash instead when I tried to contact customer service he started screaming at me he refused me any help I had to go to another company and booked with them it cost me $21.00 and three hours delay
Please avoid this bus company at any time they are bunch of scammers at Gerome bus stop and this guy must be removed

Incredibly rude customer service at Goreme Metro office. No notifications that bus ran late till we arrived at the office, said bus will be 1 hour late.
When I went down to ask again, the guy at the office in a very loud and rude manner said “your friend already ask why do you ask again?” in a very aggressive way. I explained I wanted to know if it still coming as scheduled or even later now, he kept repeating why do you ask why do you ask!!!!
guess what??? the bus turned out more than 1 hour late!!!
never been this ashamed and disappointed with a transportation service, if you dont have the patience to handle customer not even in a difficult situation, dont bother working at that field.
On fair note, the bus was clean, looks new, the conductor was polite, hot drink and soft drink offered. Smooth journey.
Will I use this service again? no if I have to deal with that incredibly rude staff at Goreme office
Most horrible bus company ever
Most horrible bus company ever. They don’t care about time we have been delayed an hour the bus is dirty and the staff in the middle rude and racist and services is horrible too. I do not recommend any foreigners still not to use this bus company called Metro.

Disappointing Bus Journey from Göreme to Antalya.
I recently took the bus from Göreme to Antalya and was quite disappointed with the experience. While I appreciate that they provide coffee and soft drinks on board, the overall journey felt unsafe and uncomfortable.
The biggest issue was the drivers—especially on the stretch from Konya to Antalya. They were constantly smoking while driving, which not only made the bus smell terrible but also raised serious concerns about safety and professionalism. For such a long trip, passengers expect a clean and secure environment, not to be surrounded by cigarette smoke.
I would not recommend this bus service unless they make improvements in maintaining basic comfort and ensuring drivers respect passenger health and safety.

Bir yıldız bile çok bunlara. Mecburi olmasa onuda hak etmiyor bunlar. Șu an Kayseri İstanbul otobüsündeyim. Klima çalışmıyor. Otobüsün içi şu an 34⁰ hala klimanın çalıştıgını iddia edecek kadar dangalak bu şoförler. İki defa müşterilerle tartıştılar. Diger firmaları bilmiyorum ama bu kadar rezil bir Firma görmedim. Arabanın plakası 38 NK 060. Bugün 08.08.2025 saat 17:00 de Kayseriden İstanbul istikametinde yoldayız. Saat 18:00 şu an Avanostayız. Klima bozuk yada gazı yok her neyse terden vıcık vıcık tüm yolcular. Koltuklar kırık. Gelen içme suyuyla banyo yapılır. Allah belasını versin bunların. Bu yazı burada süslük kalmayacak ilk molada müşteri şikayeti olarak Firmayıda arayacagım. Aşagıdaki kutucuktanda işaretleyecegimki müşteri şikayeti olarak okusunlar. Dogunun arabalarına kurban olayım. Bundan sonra onlarla yolculuk yapacagım. Şimdi ek yapıyorum. Koltukta oturmaktan kıçımız yamuldu. Kalan 8-9 saat nası bitecek bilmiyorum. Sanki tahtada oturuyorum.

07/2025 tarihinde Metro Turizm’den Göreme–Kayseri arası iki kişilik bilet satın aldık. Kalkış saati 22:15 olarak belirtilmişti. Göreme’deki bilet satış ofisinde çalışan kişi, otobüsün biraz gecikeceğini söyleyerek iş yerini kapatıp bizi Göreme Otogarı’nda gece vakti sahipsiz bir şekilde bıraktı. Saat 23:00’e kadar otobüs gelmedi.
Metro Turizm müşteri hizmetlerini aradık. Bize yalnızca şoförün telefon numarası verildi. Şoförle yaptığımız ilk görüşmede “geliyorum” dedi. Ancak saat 00:00’da tekrar aradığımızda otobüsün Kayseri’ye çoktan ulaştığını ve bizi alması gerektiğinden haberi olmadığını öğrendik.
Tüm bu süreçte Metro Turizm müşteri hizmetleri ilgisiz davranmış, yardım taleplerimize karşı duyarsız kalmış ve son olarak da telefonu yüzümüze kapatmıştır.
Sonuç olarak:
• Otobüs hizmetinden faydalanamadık.
• Gece saat 02:00’ye kadar otogarda çocuklardan uzak, kadın yolcular olarak güvensiz şartlar altında bekletildik.
• Kayseri’ye ulaşabilmek için kendi imkânlarımızla taksi çağırmak zorunda kaldık
There was no entertainment on board
There was no entertainment on board, no usb charging & no WiFi despite these being advertised. Neither the driver nor conductor spoke any English and they stopped for driver & conductor to smoke at the roadside. The bus arrived 30 minutes late.
Bought a ticket from rize to batumi
Bought a ticket from rize to batumi. Direct bus. Bus did not show up. No communication in any form. No apologies. I lost one day of my holiday and had to book a new hotel and lost the already paid hotel booking in batumi. I would like to sue them out of business.
From Konya to Adana
From Konya to Adana on the 5th of November 2024 leaving at 12 am: one of the "helpers" grabbed my phone, was very hostile and checked my pictures. He probably thought I took pictures of the ladies sitting near me.
So, my experience was unpleasant and violent.
Duyarsız Metro turizm otobüs şöförü
08.10.2024 tarihinde saat 10:00 da Göreme’den Konya’ya hareket eden Metro otobüsün sürücüsü uyarılara rağmen Çin vatandaşı bir yolcuyu beklemeden hareket etti. Çinli yolcunun arkadaşı otobüsten indi. Bir müddet sonra taksi ile yolda otobüse yetiştiler. Aksaray’da görevliler yolcuyu niye bıraktınız diye sorduklarında otobüs şöförü, adamları heryerde aradık gelmeyince hareket ettik dedi.
Metro turizm yetkililerinin gerekli tedbirleri almalarını rica ederim. Böyle bir durum ülkemiz turizmi açısından çok nahoş.

Metroturizm office (Kayseri Otogar) sells tickets few minutes before departute for bus that was already late without information about it. 4 people in office, none knows language other than turkish.
Not sure if I'll use them again
The bus seats were pretty comfortable even though the bus itself will need some attention. The drivers window couldn't be closed properly so ithe wind made significant noise during the whole overnight ride. Also all of the crew including driver smoked during the ride! Even though smoking is illegal in any public transport in Turkey. I asked them to quit it but they did only for a while and than again. Smelled quite bad so I couldn't sleep and my eyes were burning. This was on 1 of October on line from Istanbul to Göreme.

I travel from turkey to bulgaria on 23rd september 2024 cant remember the reg number of the bus we pass the border around midnight the buss colour was blue and the host on the bus short lady was very disrespectfull i will never use this company again and it was not only me who was not happy most if the passenger was complaining about her someone should take an action about this host asap

Appalling Experience with Metro Turizm
My recent journey with Metro Turizm was an absolute nightmare. The departure address on my ticket was incorrect, causing me to waste time waiting for a non-existent bus in the wrong part of the city. Upon finally reaching the ticket office, I was met with mockery and dismissal. The staff initially refused to acknowledge their error, and even when they did, they refused to provide a cash refund. Instead, they offered a "refund quote" which never materialized on my card.
The company's customer service is as disgraceful as their operational incompetence. This experience was utterly unacceptable, and I strongly advise against using Metro Turizm's services. Save yourself the hassle and choose a more reliable transportation option.
