The process of obtaining a repair under warranty was relatively straightforward. I probably messed up by using a different email address to that on my account. I ended up with 2 repair numbers!
Payment process for the service I asked for at the same time, could be a little clearer but it worked out fine.
Best customer service and best products
Not only are these the best dehumidifiers, their customer support is out of this world. Super responsive, helpful, and fixed everything perfectly on my old unit. I've since bought a new unit which is even better. These people have found their niche and they're amazing at it.
Excellent warranty service
Our dehumidifier, which is nearly 5 years old, had a faulty sensor, which was repaired under warranty.
I phoned Meaco to discuss the issue and a human quickly answered the phone and told me what needed to happen. They arranged for collection of the appliance from our home, at no cost to me, then emailed me to advise what the fault was and that it had been fixed. The dehumidifier was returned to me within 7 days of the original pickup. Couldn’t fault Meaco in any way.
I had a fault with my Meaco…
I had a fault with my Meaco dehumidifier after 2.5 years. I rang their customer service helpline, they were very helpful and arranged for it to be collected, repaired and delivered back to me.
I can't fault their customer service.

From start with customer service, courier and technician report and repair all excellent
10L dehumidifer dDid not come with castors as stated in the product description.
I have just received a 10l dehumidifer. I chose the 10L rather than the 12L as it said the 10L came on castors and the 12L did not. However on unpacking I have discovered that there are no castors and no way to fit any on the !0 Litre model..
Very good customer service
After a lot of difficulty in getting hold of a real person to speak to about my dehumidifier, two very helpful customer service advisors dealt with my problem in a very efficient and pleasant way. After having a bit more difficulty in sending a photo of the original receipt via email, it wasn't long before collection of the dehumidifier was arranged. It was returned yesterday after just over a week, and seems to be working well. Fingers crossed. It went wrong about a year after purchase, and two previous attempts at collection came to nothing in 2023, because DPD couldn't find my address. I took it out of the box and just carried on using it even though it wasn't right. This time it all worked out OK, so far so good. It is an effective dehumidifier but quite complicatedto use. I'm very grateful to Meaco for repairing it and hope it will keep working ok.
Meaco Sefte fan
After years of rattly cheap fans keeping me awake at night, I bit the bullet and invested in a Meaco Sefte. Brilliant - two summers of blissful silent cooling. Gutted when I plugged it in this year and it was completely dead :-(
Three year guarantee - bet they'll find some way to wriggle out of that I thought. But no, Meaco could not have been more helpful and a few days later a replacement arrived on my doorstep - well next-door, but that's DPD for you!
So refreshing to find such good customer service in this day and age.
Long and frustrating warranty process…
Long and frustrating warranty process for the Meaco Arete Two 12L. The unit was inspected, serviced and parts were replaced, yet the issue persisted and both the manufacturer and retailer ultimately refused refund or replacement. Very disappointing experience overall.
Missing item and no response
My dehumidifier was delivered very quickly and works as expected. But half my order was missing - the pump I paid an extra £50 for - and Meaco has ignored my query.

Superb warranty claim service
Excellent warranty repair service. PCB on my dehumidifier failed after 3 years, and replaced within 3 working days. Emailed customer service with proof of purchase, received a drop off label which was then changed to pick up on contacting their team over the phone. I spoke to Helen who was so lovely. Appliance received back in good condition, no scuffs, no strange odours, clean and in reused packaging. I own 3 Meaco appliances, this was my first warranty claim. Super pleased.

I felt initially that the service definitely deserved 5 stars. They repaired my dehumidifier extremely quickly. Perfect. I then dropped star because of the lack of correspondence around the item being returned to me. I received notification that my unit had been repaired, I then immediately contacted Meaco about how to organise the return. The next morning I received notice that the courier was delivering in the next hour or so. It’s really lucky that I was at home, I wasn’t expecting to be. I feel there should have been prior warning to make the redelivery as smooth as the rest of the sequence.
I’ve since downgraded the star ratings as the machine was returned to me too soon and it’s still not registering humidity levels correctly. Customer service is fantastic though, I just would rather the engineers took their time and prioritised ensuring unit worked fully over speedy returns.

Excellent and efficient service when making use of warranty
We had a display PCB board issue with our dehumidifier within a year of buying it, so called the company - their contact centre details were very visible and easy to use which is not always the case elsewhere! The staff member who took my call was quick to listen, diagnose and very helpfully and clearly provide the steps the company would take to rectify the fault under the warranty, all covered by them. Straight away I got an address label to post the unit to the company for fixing, sent it off, got emails alerting me when it had arrived at the workshop (2 days later), when it had been fixed and checked (next day) and when it has been dispatched back to me (day after that). From posting to receiving it back in perfect working order it took 5 days, which included a weekend - incredible! All has been working no problem since then. The dehumidifier is very effective especially for drying laundry indoors. Extremely satisfied with the service, would recommend to anyone.

Responsive in Warranty Repair (Dehumidifier)
My 12 month old dehumidifier developed a fault. Returned to Meaco - repaired - and sent back to me. Faults happen but Meaco sorted it our quickly and paid all shipping costs.

My dehumidifier stopped working after…
My dehumidifier stopped working after 16 months. Not great. After quick search I discovered that Meaco has 3 years manufacturer warranty. From my first email to customer service to return of my fixed dehumidifier it took 8 days. I have to admit I'm very impressed with theirs customer service, response time, efficiency. Most impressive.
