22 calls in a matter of 2 days.
Today I was asked to contact you,you say paypal asked you for recovery, funny I owe nothing
Confirmed via PayPal my account was closed and payments came from my bank not PayPal.
I had no notification from paypal which today confirmed if I owed anything I would have been contacted, and I haven't.
And my account with PayPal would stay open until such debt was cleared I have all proof.
We can sort it out in court fine then I shall be serving you .
So you just carry on doing your dirty deed .
Your company I've reported to all relevant parties.
You are scum of the earth .
Only got to read on here says it all.
So just you back off,or see you in court with a notice from my solicitor, yes I have one .
So just back off and crawl under the stone you came from.

Do not even deal with this company. Con artists. Will not be getting a penny out of me regardless of how many letters they send. Still waiting for my SAR nothing after 40 days. Reported to The Ombudsman, and other relevant authorities. I will with no doubt take Moorcroft Debt Recovery to The Courts of Law which they clearly know nothing about. They have also failed to comply with my letter sent recorded delivery and via email to not harrass evidence stacking up nicely.

I received a letter from them in regards to an alleged debt. Honestly speaking, I had no knowledge of this debt prior to this letter.
I requested evidence of the alleged debt, they were unable to provide evidence.

called me after i added my phone number to their website as i had received a letter to my home address , they could not find my address and was asking me to disclose personal information. if you are calling me for a supposed debt YOU SHOULD HAVE THE INFORMATION!
they then harassed my phone to the point i blocked them
they are clutching at straws

I can't believe these SCAMMERS are allowed to operate in the UK. Paypal just do something and stop these Scammers. Do not contact them, they are SCAM.

Horrendous company they call everyone by their wrong name they can barely string a sentence together! They chase debt for non existing debt! They are an awful company and affiliated with BT so not ever deal with these people! They harass customers!

I understand organisations such as Moorcroft receive mostly negative reviews due to the nature of their business. However I find it only fair to review based on my own experience.
I received a letter telling me that my debt had been transferred to Moorcroft. I contacted them via their website as due to my anxiety I don't communicate well by phone. Within 48 hours the phone calls stopped as I had asked for email communication only. I then submitted my offer of repayment, this was processed & accepted within a few days. Although I am going to be with Moorcroft for a number of years to clear this debt at least I am making progress without further charges or interest being added on. Overall in my experience if your reasonable with them they will help you find a solution.

Not a very helpful company at all, had to phone them, after 35 mins eventually got an answer, and the person didn't even speak plain English, found them extremely rude and inpolite to say the least none understanding and very unprofessional. Seems like a cheap company Trying to be big.

Another bunch of chancers 3rd party interlopers.

Have been locked out of my account and it will not let me reset the password. I have sent numerous emails to rectify, only for them to send an email back to state they are looking into the situation. However it has been months and still no further forward.
Sadly I don’t have hours to wait on hold so have given up on ringing. Clearly a company that take your money and run. They don’t give you options to change payments online so I just keep it the same. Very poor, ineffective company.

I was one of those hundreds people looks like having an extremely BAD SERVICE FROM this company! Poor Customer Service of them and Communication team on 0.0000. They never reply them emails making this service worse and worse. Do people forgot to pay sometimes bills etc - YES THEY DO FORGOT! No purpose- just memory. Or mistake from providers. But we need still customers care.

moorcroft were chasing me for a credit card debt, im into paying debt back, it my thing, they got too pushy however, so i said screw you guys im goung bankrupt

On reading all the negative reviews on this ‘company’. I am very concerned that I have received a letter from them claiming I owe money to Ideal World. I cannot contact them as it is weekend. I’ve tried sending an email to the email address on their letter and it just says unknown address. Not looking forward to Monday

Trying to recover a debt for a company that i do not owe money to.

Receive a demands for a payment for BT at an address with no phone line. Is this just another scam or cold call tactic! What is the point of GDPR!

Scammers on behalf of O2, I believe this pottery / fraud debt company works in a back bedroom on a housing estate and these vultures along with desperadoes O2 colluded with each other to scam a victim then buy the scammed debt and then these vultures prey on victims of scams and the accounts are clearly in dispute over the scammed goods, O2 will dump customers of scams regardless of disputes and on going complaints and then dump you with the pottery shed fraudsters, disputes with the Ombudsman and this company will try to intimidate harrass and demand you pay them, they threaten you with fancy wording and it’s laughable the bill and ben bullies are at worst pimps, they take pleasure in bullying and not ceasing when clearly the damn suspicious scam debt is in dispute , they use scare tactics and come try to scare me on my doorstep ill have the police here to defend you not me, from domestic abuse to unstable mentally you are scum parasites that prey on victims of proven scams and you should be dealt with accordingly, O2 and Moorcroft will find themselves in court , this pottery shed bedroom collectors are vile,

I have read quiet a few negative reviews on here, but I can say with my hand on my heart that my experience was a good one. The customer services I spoke to were very helpful and understanding. But I do understand why certain debt recoveries get a lot of stick however if a debt is to be paid or you don't owe it then the idea is to talk about it to see if a resolution can be sorted out. Its always nice to point the finger but in reality the debt didn't just appear and the first step to dealing with it is to admit its their and the rest will come with patience. Thank you Moorcroft. I would especially like to thank Melissa and another lady but I forgotten her name for being so understanding, keep up the good work.

Absolutely horrendous communication ! they will take money as quick as they can, but try and use their website or interact with workers , nothing is 'quick' and very poor responses. I tried always to resolve online but no . . . then ring and - put on hold because apparently who I was talking too, couldnt do what I needed.
Escalate to complaint and they are more bothered about data protection speech than the actual complaint ! absolutely no customer focus at all. So pleased I dont have to deal with them ever again !!!

Don’t listen to the negative reviews.

Spoke to a lovely lady called Andrea she put me at ease from the start about a third party debt I’d been losing sleep over!!!

She talked through what was affordable and she organised a monthly payment to get it paid off!!

Just be honest.

Totally incompetent.
Do not give them any details, ask for proof of debt but do this by snail mail.
They sent back copies of invoices to an old address showing £0 owed as proof so I didn’t reply. Several weeks later reply stated closed my account & I should contact their customer. Obviously I won’t as I never used said company & obviously they cannot supply original financial agreement. Scammers & they should be closed down. Block their phone number, demand proof & never provide them any details
