Everyone that I spoke to or who came to the house were extremely professional and knowledge of the company and what they could offer us. Karen came to the house, (as my mother couldn’t make it to the office due to her mobility problems), to set up my mother’s Family Trust and both of our wills. I also had a POA set up. We are very happy with Karen for her explanation of the Family Trust, which we hadn’t heard of. Although somewhat expensive, I personally think more people would set one up if they knew more about it. It saves so many problems when someone passes away, and it also ensures that the persons wishes are carried out hassle/family annoyance, free. Thank you McClure’s and Karen.

Now I’m 74 years old , I decided it was time to formalise my financial affairs by making a will. I chose McClure because they are attached to a charity and also had an office where I live. At the first appointment I was guided by their representative, Charlotte Ferrier ,through the process. When I had all information needed a second appointment was made and a draft was agreed. The draft needed a few alterations to meet my requirements, which were quickly added to and a final will was drawn up. I then attended the office once more to sign the paper work and a final copy was received in the post. All in all a very good service, and easy process. I highly recommend the service I received from McClure Solicitors

I found all the staff at McClure very helpful & patient with me every step of the way through making a new Will & drawing up the Power of Attorney document. I would recommend them to anyone.

Taking out a new Will was handled very efficiently. No problems encountered and all my questions answered. Nice also that instead of paying a service fee, I was able to make a donation to a Charity of my own choice.

My father died at the end of May having only just remade his will with McClure. I wish we had never heard of them and will advise Age Concern too as I found them through them.

Despite repeated calls and emails I am still waiting for my father's original will so that we can do probate. This was promised in July. It is now 6th November. No sign yet.

The distress of losing a parent and trying to deal with their estate is hard enough. Without being completely ignored by the people he trusted, even from his hospital bed, to update his will. He would be so upset at the upset this is causing me and his family. We can't proceed with the sale of how house and are now losing money on it.

Absolutely shocked that solicitors can just ignore you in your time of need. No doubt because they are not making any money from him. Thank goodness we didn't do the trust they wanted him to do.

I never ever make complaints like this but want to avoid the distress for any other family. Chose another solicitor!
