Impossible to contact. They do not return calls or answer emails. Not to mention paperwork going missing. Have sent multiple emails to different members of their team and still awaiting a response (awaiting responses from emails sent in December and January). We are now a year and a half down the line and still no further forward. I chose McClures to try and relieve the stress of dealing with my fathers estate and unfortunately working with such an unorganised company has only caused more stress.

A great service from start to finish. I used McClure Solicitors who were offering a free will writing service in partnership with McMillan. The advisor I dealt with was courteous, efficient and professional throughout, whilst remaining approachable and friendly. The whole process was clearly explained throughout and communication was open. I would definitely recommend this company's services and intend to use them for future requirements such as house sale.

I had my Will and Power of Attorneys prepared by Vicky at McClure during this pandemic crisis, all done via WhatsApp and email. It was a seamless experience and I would definitely recommend them in fact I already have!

Must admit I was not impressed with this Solicitors at the start. My mums house was in trust for my brother and I and I heard nothing about what was happening with the sale unless the buyers solicitor had a question. The solicitor dealing with it left and Susan McCrear took over. Susan was extremely helpful, sending emails, answering questions and keeping me informed on what was happening. Even after passing it across to the approval dept and finance Susan was quick to respond to an email advising us when payment would be. Thank you Susan for easing my concerns.

Critical: Professionalism
Service so poor and suspect refuses to provide information. Personally found responses rude. I've decided to report to the Law Society in sheer frustration. I am completely perplexed at the awards advertised for being a leading company in the legal sector. I've found there seems to be a high turnover in Solicitors. I don't know if the other branches are any better but I would strongly recommend that this branch is avoided at all costs.

My wife and I prepared our wills with McClure Solicitors as part of their free will and charitable donation service (Will Aid). We were originally slightly concerned about using a free will service however these were unjustified and the service we received was highly professional and very efficient.

We didn't know what information we required or even questions we had to ask ourselves however the advice we received addressed this and was very thorough. My wife and I required mirror wills and the wills were drafted and finalized over two meetings over Zoom.

Overall feel very satisfied!

Recently used this excellent firm to complete our Wills. I found the experience to be very good and informative. The whole thing was very pleasant and I would highly recommend using McClure Solicitors for your needs. My wife and I explored other future financial aspects which we will be progressing through them too as we found them professional and efficient. I was also pleasantly surprised that they used technology to overcome pandemic restrictions which kicked in early in our arrangements.
Staff were innovative and forward thinking.
Use of video calls more than made up for the inability to actually visit their offices to complete our business. I found my wife and I actually preferred this!

Excellent customer service when rewriting our wills.

McClures still haven't settled my mother's trust. She died in June of last year. Progress was slow but all has been in place since early December to do the final transfer/ settlement. However, despite emails and phone calls since ( mainly unanswered), there has been no progress since. They ask customers not to contact them as they are working hard to reduce the backlog of work due to Covid and I understand they are taking on more staff too, but this still hasn't resulted in the work being completed. They say that they regard my case as urgent too. UPDATE 8th MARCH, following the review left on this site, McClures contacted me to offer explanations for what they acknowledged were unacceptable delays/ errors in dealing with this very simple trust and to also applologise. The outstanding work has now been completed.
