Hit and run by Marshalls truck!

The Marshalls delivery truck crashed into my parked car and rammed it into the parked car beside it and then drove off. When we first spoke to Marshalls about the incident they claimed not to have a driver in the area at the time. When we then visited the building site close by they gave us a delivery note which confirms they were dropping off a delivery just minutes before the crash. I have now called them back several times since to discuss the incident further and each time I am told someone will call me back. The police are now considering it a hit and run as they have exceeded the 24 hours to report such an incident. Not only has the driver shown himself to be a morally corrupt part of society by just driving off, but the entire Marshalls Group now has as well.

Made order for copings on 8th May

Made order for copings on 8th May. They were supposed to be delivered on 17th May. I called them 2 days before delivered and asked to reschedule for the 20th May, they agreed on the new delivery date.
On 20th May I took 1 day of unpaid holiday to manage the delivery, but no one showed up. I immediately reached out to them. They said they will check with the haulier, but I didn't get any reply for the whole day.
On the 21st May, I reached out to them once again, and they said it would be delivered on 22nd May.
On 22nd May I took another unpaid leave day, but once again no one showed up. I reached out to them and cancelled the order. They immediately cancelled the order, but after 1 week, I still haven't seen my refund.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Easy to contact, very helpful agent. Also delivery driver was very efficient and kept me informed as to when he would arrive and he arrived exactly on time.
Would definitely buy from this company again.

Never again

Ordered slabs at the start of may with a delivery date for the end of may! Comes to the day and my tracking wouldn’t work so rang and was told that they would be delivered today and the driver would give me a call with a ETA. 4:30pm they still haven’t arrived? So tried to ring them just kept being put on hold then get cut off! We had guys booked in to lay said slabs so I am out of pocket for the slabs themselves and the guys we had booked! Took a day off work for nothing too! Trying to get through to someone is proving difficult. Would never ever use this company again.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication, delivery was intended to be two weeks in advance from the date of purchase but even still they were unable to commit to a date. Cancelled order.

Poor product

The jointing compound is pretty difficult to use and clean. To be honest it goes off too quickly.
We found a better product elsewhere.

Main part of order not received by end…

Main part of order not received by end of planned delivery day. Your tracking information is very basic and gives no idea of an estimated delivery time or of delays being experienced. Now too late to find out what happens next, as it is outside your office hours. I would expect at least a call or email to notify, at the earliest opportunity, that target delivery date was not to be achieved. Very disappointed.
.....One day later: delivery arrived whilst customer service were working on finding out new delivery time/day. Very good service from then on. Lucky I was in, though.

Products not in stock (even when website says they are)

Ordered paving specifically because it was in stock. Paid and booked a delivery date and got an email the following g day to say that delivery would be three months later than the confirmed date.

Marshalls Stonemarket division are totally unreliable

We have and continue to have a dreadful experience with Stonemarket a dvision of Marshalls. We ordered 5 pallets of elemental paviours with a confirmed delivery of 3 to 5 days. Suffice to say never arrived. Following expediting by our landscaper a part delivery was due on Friday but upon arrival the pallet was rotten and could not be offloaded. The full delivery was then promised for 14 May , we were even given the vehicle tracking reference. Nothing arrived and following further chasing and despite the promises we are now being advised that the product is not even in the country and wont be until mid June !. We have no driveway as it had been dug up in readiness for the promised delivery. The service and reliability is the worst I have ever experienced absolutely shocking.
21 May - it gets even worse if that is possible. In light of the failures set out above Marshalls agreed to supply some cheap paviours to tide us over whilst we waited for the overdue correct items to arrive. They were due to arrive today....but yet again they have not been delivered. You seriously could not make this up its utterly appalling !!! there is something fundamentally broken at Stonemarket.
