Har registrerat nytt sim den 25.01.26 . Fick bekräftelse i både email och sms att kortet er registrerat. Laddade ett plan direkt den 25 och kan inte ringa eller ta emot samtal. Deras AI är värdelös och ingen som besvarar email . Väntar ett vecka till och flyttar nummer till andra operatör.
NEJ!!! ALDRIG MERA!!! TA NÅN ANNAN OPERATOR!!! DE BARA LJUGER.

Fruktansvärd ärendehantering och kundservice

I Juli 2025 gjorde jag en beställning på ett abonnemang (120gb för 99kr/mån). Jag märker att det gjorts flera dragningar på mitt kort. Jag ringer kundservice på telefon som säger att jag ska mejla ärendet till cs[at]lycamobile.se och bifoga kontoutdrag för återbetalning. Jag gör det men får ingen återkoppling.

Händelseförlopp efter det:
1) I Augusti 2025. Jag ringer kundservice igen som bekräftar att mitt mejl kommit in, att de ligger efter i handläggningen och att pengarna ska betalas tillbaka.

2) 29 Oktober 2025. Jag skickar ett påminnelsemail då jag fortfarande inte fått något svar

3) 27 November 2025. Jag får svar för första gången, Lyca vill att jag kompletterar med bankkontoinformation

4) 27 November 2025. Jag skickar in den kompletterande informationen

5) 1 December 2025. Lyca svarar att dom hittat transaktionerna och SIM-korten det gällde och att dom "har skickat in för retur på alla dessa. Detta tar normalt 5-7 arbetsdagar innan du får återbetalningarna tillbaka till ditt bankkonto "

6) 19 December 2025. Jag skickar ett påminnelsemail då inga pengar än kommit in.

7) 2 Januari 2026. Jag får ett mail om Lyca vill att jag skickar om informationen igen, men även att jag ska annan information nu med som finns om man registrerat ett SIM-kort hos Lyca.

Eftersom jag aldrig registrerade något SIM-kort så saknar jag informationen som nu efterfrågas. Det är också jättemärkligt att Lyca nu låtsats som att mina transaktioner inte makulerats, något som beskrevs hade gjorts tidigare. Vad kan man lita på? Det här är inte förtoendeingivande, och känns som taget ur en dålig komedifilm.

Do not get LycaMobile sim-card

Absolutely the worst mobile operator out there. I don't even know if they're Swedish enough to call themselves a "Swedish mobile operator." After their VoLTE update and 2G/3G migration, a ton of phones simply stopped being able to make calls, in a country where phone calls are the primary way people communicate with each other and with Swedish authorities.

To make things worse, their customer contact methods don't work at all. The chat on their website is permanently stuck on "Waiting for an agent." Calling them is just as useless: it's like you're placed in a queue, but even after hours of "ringing," nothing happens, no response, no agent, nothing, and it has been like that for like 2 - 3 months. Trying to migrate your number to another operator is also rejected, the new operator informed me that my current operator ( LycaMobile ) are not accepting my request and saying that my number is "not registered" altough my number IS registered.

I guess the poor service explains their low prices.

The worst costumer service ever

The worst costumer service ever! They are scammers! I bought a one time e-siim data of 40g , I notice later that they done monthly withdrawal on my credt card although it was supposed to be a one time purchase only. I directly called them and was told that I would be refunded if sending a mail but never was. I called back and then was told they could find my order and told me that I needed to send a mail once again. Weeks and months passed by and no answer. When I finally received an answer I was told that I had signed a plan which was not true. They lure you in with a one time purchase and then charge you for a monthly plan - BIG WARNING! The customer service is a joke you wont get help there! Avoid big time!

Så himla dåligt…

Så himla dåligt företag, nu den här två månaderna har inget alls fungerat, data, samtal etc, till och med det gick inte att fylla på. De har krånglar de själva när de satte på volte som inte går att ta bort. Jag och hela familjen bytte till 3 och äntligen har allt fixat, byt ni till vilken operatör ni vill och så kommer det fixas

Decent prices, terrible service.

Lycamobile SE is easily the absolute worst mobile company I have ever used. The only reason they get a couple of stars is because they have very cheap data plans and are one of the only companies I could find in Sweden that would let me sign up without a person number - which was useful for me as a foreigner.

Let's take a look at a few of their weakpoints:
- Coverage is not great. I often miss text messages or have the internet drop out for no reason.
- Texting does not include MMS messaging. You can't send photos over text. Ridiculous.
- The (English-speaking) support line is run from the Philipines. I often had to wait over an hour to speak with someone that has bad English and doesn't understand my question. Occasionally, the call would randomly drop out and I would have to queue again.
- If your automatic payment declines, they instantly cancel your plan. Unlike most normal companies, which let you update your details or try the payment again in a few days, Lyca instantly cuts you off. You can't renew it either - you have to buy a new plan. This has resulted in me having to get a completely new phone number, because I didn't have enough money on my card at the time. They also don't tell you exactly when the charge is going to come through, so you can't even prepare. I feel like this is done intentionally - drawing customers in with a promotional price, then ending their plan so that they either have to switch to paying full price, or go through the hassle of getting a new number.

Overall, a very, very frustrating company to deal with. I only stick with them because I have virtually no other option. (And their promotional prices are nice, if you can hang onto your auto-renewal.)

Very bad experience

Very bad experience, to be honest I am not sure how this company can even still be in business. I wanted to transfer my esim from android to iphone - on site it said to call customer service - the whole volte thing prevented me to call from my lycamobile number ( I could not get that sorted eighter but i hoped it will be fixed once my e-sim is transfered to my new phone) I spend an hour and 10€ to call customer service from my foreign phone number just for the customer service person to pick up and say that it is not possible (to transfer esim from one phone to another) I explained to him that on site it is written that it is possible and that is why i am calling - after 30 minutes of him trying to find me a solution it still was not solved instead he forwarded it to a technical department and they were supposed to contact me in a few days with a solution - it has been more than a month and i still have not heard from them. Instead i just decided to get a new esim at from a different company and cancel my subscription

VARNING! UNDVIK!

Köpte ett kontantkort från Lyca och laddade det med surf och samtal. Inget av det fungerar, och de svarar inte på mejl eller via chatten. Försöker man ringa kundtjänst får man höra att "alla våra agenter är upptagna" oavsett vilken tid på dygnet man ringer.

Black Friday deal was a trick

I ordered the Black Friday deal. 99KR for 120GB unlimited, with international calls and 5G. Normal price was 340KR. But if I keep paying, I'd keep the deal for a lifetime.Pretty good deal!

Unfortunately, it was too good to be true. In spite of me setting it to auto-renew, it didn't, and there was no warning. I woke up to my phone not being able to call or receive calls or SMS. Log on to their service and the deal had expired. Mailed them, and received no response or help.

I cannot recommend this provider to anyone.

This company should be sued

This company should be sued. They have made my life horrible. Not able to make any calls since 1st December due to their Volte issue in sweden. I have written 10 emails but no response. Their customer call support is impossible to reach. Worst mobile company on this planet. And after this review an AI bot from their company will reply to this message and ask for sharing my phone number and other details and writing an email to trustpilotreview"at"lycamobile"dot"com. I have done all of this but NO ONE FROM LYCAMOBILE SUPPORT EVER REACHES OUT.

Jag brukar aldrig lämna omdömen, speciellt inte negativa, men här känner jag mig faktiskt tvungen att gå ut och varna. Vad ni än gör, välj inte Lyca mobil! Enbart problem och helt omöjligt att komma i kontakt med kundtjänst (jag tvivlar på att det finns någon). Hela upplevelsen sedan jag registrerade ett kontantkort för fyra veckor sedan har varit bedrövlig!

Worst experience I've ever had with a mobile phone service customer service is unable to fix any of the issues I've had from the start and OMG they're the most basic I'm unable to make a call as I sound like an alien or cuts out text messages are not arriving or are arriving 1 day later some of my text messages don't get through and to top it of 2 days ago my phone number was being called and it was telling the callers this number doesn't exist. it has now got to the point that I can no longer stand being with this carrier and will change to a usable one. even if they gave me a free line it's not worth it. worst phone service in the world better not have a phone than use lyca

They act like scammers

I had a 120 gb plan with 70% of for life. Sounds amazing, right? Turns out it was too good to be true. In the beginning everything seemed fine and was working great, but after a couple of months I started running into some issues. My outgoing calls stopped working and people couldn´t call me. The only thing working was SMS:es. The internet also started to lack in terms of quality and speed. When i e-mailed Lyca about this the 15th of october (!!!) the only answer I got was an automatic, thank you for contacting our support. In December I re-e-mailed them since they haden´t been in contact with me about the issue what so ever, to remind them that the problem still exists. Same auto-answer, but to this day they have not gotten back to me in any way or even acknowledged that they have at least read my complaint. A friend of mine has gotten the exact same issues recently, so it seems like it's a matter of time before others join our pile. Don´t buy anything from this company. I had to change to another provider to be able to call and use internet.
Edit:
1: I have emailed Luca in oktober, but you still have not answered me and I know that they received it since I got an auto answer. STILL NO ANSWER. Even tho they've answered here on Trustpilot.
2: I have VoLTE activated. Lyca now claim that it could be the cause of the problem and it could but my problems started to happen in OKTOBER and Lyca changed their policy about LTE in DECEMBER. AND I HAVE LTE TURNED ON BY DEFAULT ON MY PHONE. I'm 25 not 85. (No disrespect to old people).

Konstant strul och tomma löften

Värdelös uppkoppling till 5G-nätet, skrattretande kundtjänst och en webbsida/app som har fler buggar än fungerande funktioner.

Skaffade Lycamobile i december och det har inte varit annat än problem. Det största just nu är att det i princip är omöjligt att byta kort för automatisk förnyelse. Inte “lägga till betalsätt”, utan att faktiskt ändra vilket kort som ska användas. En grundläggande funktion som borde vara självklar.

Kundtjänsten kunde knappt kommunicera på svenska och gav dessutom felaktig information. Jag fick uttryckligen sagt att de skulle fixa så att mitt andra kort användes för automatisk förnyelse. Det hände aldrig. Resultatet? Mitt juleerbjudande försvann på grund av deras falska löften och inkompetens.

Man sitter och förlitar sig på att deras kundtjänst ska hjälpa en med ens ärenden men blir direkt straffad av det.

Icke fungerande support och utan respekt för sina kunder. Rekommenderas absolut inte ifall du vill ha en trygg hantering av dina betalningar.

Dålig kundservice

Jag har inte kunnat använda mitt kontantkort på cirka 45 dagar trots att jag har 173.33kr kr i saldo och mobilen har stöd 4G/LTE-nätverk. Är det normalt för företag att inte svara på mejl sedan november 2025? Hur länge ska jag vänta på ett svar via e-post?

Stay away! Worst provider ever!

Worst provider I have ever been with and I'm regretting ever signing up.
Customer supposed to is not available at all, waiting 1.5 hours to then get hung up on is ridiculous. Calls and SMS are not working despite VOLTE being activated and the phone being on their list of eligible devices.
My advice, NEVER sign up to Lyca!
The AI chat bot is utter shit and the company does not register your SIM under your name so when you want to change provider you cannot take your number with you. Even the other provider was unsuccessful contacting Lyca. Stay away from it, don't waste your money on this company.
